The majority of offerings being secret is unhealthy for the game.

For those who haven't noticed, a lot of offerings that were not secret before are now secret. Map offerings were the main offenders being made secret, but we additionally got the following offerings being made secret:

  1. Chest offerings.
  2. Hatch offerings.
  3. Basement offerings.
  4. Mist offerings.
  5. Hook offerings.
  6. Personal luck offerings.

Of all of these offerings that have been made secret, 1, 4, and 6 are all relatively pointless to hide. Why would one need to hide the extra (or lack thereof) spawning of chests, changing of the thickness of the mist, or personal luck? It makes no sense to make these secret.

Number 5 could possibly be seen as a bit pointless, but it also might give a heads-up to the killer that the survivors might be trying to make the match miserable if they're all bringing the offerings stacked up.

However, of all of them, 2 and 3 being secret is unhealthy for the game. It buffs SWF's because they are in communication with each other, so a hatch offering being put in means everyone knows where it might be, whilst solo's won't know where the hatch is unless if they're the ones who put it in. Granted, basement being placed in a specific structure isn't nearly as game changing as hatch spawn, but hatch spawn being known to both sides completely nullifies the advantage it brings.

Map offerings being secret is fine, despite the nerf to 20%, it still lets the match be a surprise (and sac wards are still much more common than the map offerings, so one can just ward forever if they wish.) However, making SO many offerings secret, is unhealthy as now you don't know what anyone is bringing. Are all 4 survivors bringing hook offerings, map offerings perhaps? Or are they all just bringing personal luck offerings so they can attempt to bypass the "Go next" prevention? There's so many secret offerings now that it's pointless to guess (which works for the Killer, as now it's not just Mori's), but some of the game-changing ones being secret is just one big buff to SWF's.

The only offerings that should have been made secret should have just been the map offerings.
