Chapter Impressions and Suggestions

Hi,

I want to start out by covering the positives. The killer and map both look beautiful and having the OG British accent for Springtrap back is cool.

So anyway, on to everything else.

First of all, I have to say that I'm disappointed, but not at all surprised with the low qwuality for this chapter. Firstly, it seems BHVR didn't fix the chase 'music' for Springtrap. It still sounds boring and annoying, as has become a trend for your composer nowadays.

Secondly, his power is insanely undertuned. Why wouldn't you buff him when he was already mid-low tier in the PTB? Hitting the axe is almost impossible unless you're kissing the survivor's neck, and survivors can easily see you coming if your door happens to be just out in the open.

Finally, it seems survivors are not only in their most powerful state in the past 2-3 years, but they also are being incentivised to rush gens more than ever with this silly new AFK prevention system. How can you expect new FNAF fans who are excited to play Springtrap to stick around when he's this weak and survivors are this strong?

It can be fun to get killed as survivor in this game when you're new; It isn't fun to be weak and helpless in catching the survivors as killer when you're new. Those are just the facts.

Also the new chapter is flooded with bugs, because you still haven't fixed your game's core spaghetti code.

All this to say, it's a classic BHVR fumble to release a complete mess when they're graced with such a massive opportunity for growth as this FNAF collab. But despite it being expected, I'm still disappointed.

I'm aware feedback is meant to be constructive, but don't expect me to do your job for you. I'm not getting paid; I'm paying you.

But my suggestion would be to add to Springtrap's layer 4 chase theme so that it's actually music, buff the hitbox of his axe, make orbital usage of the axe more intuitive, incentivise survivors to actually use the cameras, revert the AFK system changes, increase gen time requirements by roughly 20-40%, slow survivors' move speed by around 5% and fix the game's base code asap.

Thanks.
