I pray for this to be true.

The Nintendo switch 2 is powerful & is out selling like crazy which I’m happy for.

Because it gives so much more opportunity to new developers & old.

Like Behaviour is majorly missing out on a big player base & a lot new/old players will upgrade too. When they make a paid Switch 2 version !

    “Free money Behaviour”

(Which has to be vastly optimised & major graphical overhaul, case in point Resident evil Requiem)

Meaning more money for Behaviour !

So Behaviour please wake up on this.

Yeah Mandy responses have been very lacklustre some days on the subject.

(Guess she could be told to hush)

I mean it’s nearly been a whole year since the Nintendo Switch 2 has been out.

(All other new platforms got it day one)

Like I hope they have been working hard on it for at least 7 months for Switch 2 version/paid upgrade.

I mean, they're releasing Star Wars Monopoly for the NS2 just a few days before the 10th anniversary. I'm pretty sure they only accepted this contract from Ubisoft to let developers learn DLSS. So we can be certain that the full port will begin after the anniversary.

Who's aggressively targeting the Japanese market in 2025 with a Tokyo event, Tokyo Ghoul, exclusive manga artist skins, and leaving Nintendo out of it? That doesn't make any sense.

So you can expect a release in 6 to 9 months, unless the anniversary event turns into a technical disaster for DBD, in which case you can expect a delay of several months.

We deserve an official update on the live anniversary stream about an Nintendo Switch 2 version of DBD.

Even if it’s a paid upgrade/Game Key Card or Full Cartridge release many of us would happily pay for!

Hopefully it’s long overdue at this point.

Fingers crossed we Nintendo Switch 2 players get to celebrate in style.

I don’t mind/ we the Nintendo DBD player base would happily pay for an Upgrade/Cart or Key Card !
For an Optimised/Graphical Overhaul version of DBD for Switch 2.

Even more so for the 10th anniversary!

    I understand you & I feel similar.

DBD needs a massive Graphical Overhaul/ Performance updated version made for Nintendo Switch 2.

Be it a full cartridge, game key cartridge or paid upgrade path.

Loads of players would glady pay for this, Me included myself !

Furthermore this needs to happen Behaviour !

You can’t alienate a whole new platform nor the DBD Nintendo Community.

So let’s hope on 14th the 10 year Anniversary live stream,

We get an Overhauled Optimised Version of DBD for Nintendo Switch 2 announced & available straight after the Anniversary stream ends!

Still nothing at summer game fest today. How would Behaviour even manage to squeeze the new graphical overhaul with all the graphics improvements, new character models, lighting and all of that good stuff they're planing on a Switch 1 version of the game? Like that sounds like way more trouble than just making a Switch 2 version and brute-forcing it with the new hardware. This is getting ridiculous.

    Couldn’t agree more on this.

So from today it marks 1 year & one day that the Nintendo Switch 2 has been around.

    Now keep in mind Behaviour,

Yes you Behaviour I’m calling all the big developers/higher ups out !

Now is the time to act because honestly the alienating of an whole Brand New Platform being Nintendo Switch 2

(Which has been out for a year now, Hasn’t got an Optimised FPS/Performance & Massively Improved Graphical Overhaul that it deserves !)

Every other platform got day one patches,
Be from PS4 - PS5, Xbox Series, Stream, Epic, Any PC storefront had all day one optimised versions of Dead by Daylight.

On there first day of a console/platform launch!

Now the Nintendo Switch 2 been a year & still hasn’t!? It’s time to wake up Behaviour seriously. We your loyal Nintendo players/Fans new/old deserve equal treatment!

It's also pretty disappointing that they don't say anything about it. It makes you really angry that they don't Care at all. I'm seriously thinking about deleting the Game. I kept telling myself to just Hang in there until the new Switch came out. Well, it's been out for a year now, and there's absolutely nothing heppening with the Game. They Claim the Switch Community ist too small, which is why nothing ist being released. But why isn't ist as big as the communities on other Platforms? Maybe it's because the Game Looks like something from ten years ago. If I hadn't known dbd beforehand and someone showed it to me in the Switch, I wouldn't have bought it either simply because of the way it Looks.

Nothing on the Nintendo Direct today neither. Imagine the amount of Switch 2 users who would hop on DBD if they announced a Switch 2 version today, with Jason finally coming to the game it would attract a lot of people who probably didn't even knew there's a Switch version of DBD. Now lets see if the 10th year anniversay has anything for us.

And with an optimised Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dead By Daylight.

With higher 60 minimum FPS & major Graphical Fidelity upgrade needed. Then we won’t get delays any further.

Due to the Switch 1 being way too old now to handle current DBD.

So we need a paid upgrade for Nintendo Switch 2 or paid physical today.

Matt please announce this during the 10th anniversary live stream hopefully!

No Nintendo Switch 2 announcement for DBD, What a sad day.

Matt, Top developers you’re leaving all your Nintendo/DBD fans in the dark.

Give us an announcement for a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Version of Dead By Daylight !
(The platform has been out an year, It’s time to support it already)
To at least let us know, We will be able to play the future of DBD.

Without having to repurchase everything on another platform, it’s just so unfair & disheartening.

Awesome 10th anniversary but this just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

    Peace.

They graphics Update ist supposed to arrive Sometime between mid and late 2027. I strongly suspekt they are waiting for the new ps6 and the new Xbox. They aren't doing anything for us. I am totally disappointed.

    I’m sorry, But I disagree.
No PS6 or Xbox etc will release right now with the ram prices this high. It would be a death sentence with pricing.

Maybe in late 2028 if that but I say early 2029.

The Nintendo Switch 2 can handle very well & is already out performs Xbox in certain games.

Such as, Pragmata, Final Fantasy 7 etc.

Yes Mat & Behaviour are keeping there cards too close to there chest.

Even so what’s inside the Nintendo Switch 2,

Is well able & is extremely capable to run the future graphics of DBD easily.

(And the current graphics to very easily too)

We just need an optimised exclusive version of Dead By Daylight for the Nintendo Switch 2.

It can easily hit 60fps & above, With upscaling or not. It would work very well for DBD especially Graphically/FPS on NS2.

I mean look how stunning Resident Evil Requiem looked on NS2.

The original Switch won’t handle the future DBD,

We loyal Dead By Daylight/Nintendo fans new & old. Deserve an Nintendo Switch 2 version for DBD.

And we’ll happily pay for it Behaviour !

    (Free money)

It’s been an darn year since Nintendo Switch 2 has been out & it’s a joke Behaviour hasn’t announced nothing honestly,

They need to wake up & at least give us some confidence back already.

That surprise, “ there at least been working on it already & we gotta wait little longer” Tell us that at least !

That would at least give us an definite answer.

Right now they won’t admit nor deny it, Even in a recent interview with IGN they said they can’t answer the question. That would DBD coming to Nintendo Switch 2 ?

I mean well, Announce it already Behaviour Enterainment please.

I’ve been playing in the fog since 2019,

I & we all at least deserve not to lose our purchases. Because Behaviour never gave us Nintendo fans a proper cross save!

Because we all know the Nintendo Switch 1 won’t handle the future of DBD at all.

Only the Nintendo Switch 2 can & will prove excellent for DBD bringing even more players to the fog!

Now after the 10th Anniversary which was incredible,

Yes we deserve answers please to this one question.

Mr Mathieu Cote I’m calling you out,

Please give us a definite answer regarding an dedicated version of Dead By Daylight exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2,

Is it coming/ being worked on!?

    Please answer Mathieu, Thank you.

    🎉🍾🎉

    Happy 10th Anniversary all !

I think you misunderstood me. I'm completely on your Side. The Switch2 could easily Run this with great graphics we See that with many Games Like Chronos,Pragmata,Assassin's Creed Shadows and so in but they simply don't want to do it.

Multiplatform titles also demonstrate that they switch2 handles Updates perfectly Well Games Like Fortnite, Warframe, Overwatch for instance.

Even more are being announced, such as Call of Duty or DayZ and there are no Update delays that force Cross Play to be disabled. So, the issue isn't Nintendo the dbd Team simply doesn't want to do it. I Love dbd, but I didn't buy a new console just to Play the game exactly the same way I did in the previous generation ( in terms of graphics and FPS).

That exact moment at IGN gave me hope for a switch 2 port or upgrade pack to be announced, and you’re right when you say that the switch 1 cannot handle the future of dbd, the console is extremely outdated and barely runs the game right now and is a complete mess, but it is impressive that it’s up to date with everything else and at least makes switch 1 an option to play (although patch delays also cause the system to be even more of a mess) but the whole graphical overhaul could probably just kill switch 1 all together, and heck that would be surprising if they can even get that detail working on the system, but that’s not gonna be possible if the system simply cannot handle that exact level of detail, we still have to wait for the graphical overhaul to happen, but that could just kill switch 1 entirely once it comes, the switch 2 could handle that new look, especially cause it runs a lot of modern games really well, I really hope they can consider this otherwise the system might be in trouble when it’s time to make the graphical changes

Yep it’s only fair for Nintendo Switch 2 gets its own dedicated version of Dead By Daylight.

With at least 60 FPS & a much needed as well deserved major Graphical Overhaul,

To use & optimise the potential of Nintendo Switch 2 power for Dead By Daylight on Nintendo’s newest system.

Every other platform got this, So the Nintendo Switch 2/DBD player base deserves a dedicated NS2 version of DBD.

Paid card, Upgrade, Key Card we don’t mind.

Again I’m calling you out Mr Mathieu Cote will you give us an answer,

A clear yes or no, Or we are currently working on it.

    Hello everyone,

I would like to add my voice to this discussion.

I have been supporting Dead by Daylight since 2018 and have spent many years enjoying the game. Dead by Daylight has become one of my favorite multiplayer games, and I would love to continue playing it on Nintendo Switch 2.

As much as I enjoy playing on other platforms, sometimes I simply want to relax on the couch, play in handheld mode, and enjoy the game wherever I am. Nintendo Switch 2 has the potential to provide a much better experience, and I truly hope the platform will receive the support it deserves.

Dear Behaviour Team, I hope you will consider not only my request, but also the requests of many other players who enjoy Dead by Daylight on Nintendo platforms. We are passionate members of this community and would love the opportunity to continue our journey on Switch 2.

Even if there is no announcement yet, any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time, and congratulations on the 10th Anniversary of Dead by Daylight.

I’ve been playing Dead by Daylight on Switch 2 and would love to see a dedicated upgrade. The current version is playable, but a 60 FPS target, improved resolution, and updated graphics would make a huge difference. The hardware is capable, and I’d even be willing to purchase a Switch 2 upgrade if necessary

Even so, If you decide to upgrade you deserve all your purchases to actually transfer over properly, which they only currently will on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Thanks to behaviour not wanting to pay up to get us a proper cross save/our purchases.

    (Unlike every other platform)

A dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version needs to happen for Dead By Daylight asap!

Nintendo Switch 2 It’s been out a whole year already,

II completely understand you. I have people on my friends list who play Switch. One of them is my best friend, and I always play DBD with her. That's why there should be a completely separate version. It works on other platforms too, like PS4 or PS5.Nintendo already offers something similar, to give just one example. Fortnite is available as a Switch 1 version as well as a Switch 2 version. But you have to admit that it's pretty unfair that we haven't gotten our own version to this day.
