This is quite disappointing, even smaller devs with less Switch player base are updating their games to a Switch 2 version. Could you guys at least consider the posibility of uncaping the framerate to 60 fps for Switch 2 users? Rocket League did something similar by allowing Switch 2 users to have better graphical assets without actually making a Switch 2 version. Or are we just not worth the effort?

In September, they said, "We're not currently planning a Switch 2 version."

In an IGN interview four weeks ago, when asked about a Switch 2 version, they said, "I'm not allowed to answer that." This means the version is now in development and will likely be announced at Nintendo Direct in June (or on the 10th anniversary).

The Switch 2 has DLSS 3.5, which is perfect for Dead by Daylight's Unreal Engine 5. Furthermore, the Switch 2 will surpass Xbox Series sales next year, so they can't ignore it. Don't believe what Mandy says, as if she can just randomly drop a new version on the forum—that's nonsense! 🤣

I pray for this to be true.

The Nintendo switch 2 is powerful & is out selling like crazy which I’m happy for.

Because it gives so much more opportunity to new developers & old.

Like Behaviour is majorly missing out on a big player base & a lot new/old players will upgrade too. When they make a paid Switch 2 version !

    “Free money Behaviour”

(Which has to be vastly optimised & major graphical overhaul, case in point Resident evil Requiem)

Meaning more money for Behaviour !

So Behaviour please wake up on this.

Yeah Mandy responses have been very lacklustre some days on the subject.

(Guess she could be told to hush)

I mean it’s nearly been a whole year since the Nintendo Switch 2 has been out.

(All other new platforms got it day one)

Like I hope they have been working hard on it for at least 7 months for Switch 2 version/paid upgrade.

I mean, they're releasing Star Wars Monopoly for the NS2 just a few days before the 10th anniversary. I'm pretty sure they only accepted this contract from Ubisoft to let developers learn DLSS. So we can be certain that the full port will begin after the anniversary.

Who's aggressively targeting the Japanese market in 2025 with a Tokyo event, Tokyo Ghoul, exclusive manga artist skins, and leaving Nintendo out of it? That doesn't make any sense.

So you can expect a release in 6 to 9 months, unless the anniversary event turns into a technical disaster for DBD, in which case you can expect a delay of several months.
