As a newish killer is it just me or are survivors getting too op?
I was playing earlier and I had like 3 or 4 players running dead hard, decisive strike, and some sort of speed perk, problem was no matter what I did I could never catch them, and every time I failed against looping them they tea bag, am i just bad or have survivors gotten too comfortable being a powerhouse

Yeah, survivor players are getting a bit too strong in this meta. They really need a nerf soon

Bit of column a bit of column B. Time to start learning a top 5 killer.

any perk survivors have today were stronger or had a stronger alternative in the past (excluding off the record and finesse by 5%). if youre not catching people it could be your skill but you should also consider factors such as the map/map generation and the killer youre playing

You're new as you admit.

Not gonna lie the difficulty of survivors has been cranked up lately. If they arent running around clueless, or you are slugging and tunndling like crazy, then by default you will lose a generator or 3 per chase.

You have to play a top5 killer. It sucks.

The chase mechanic is bugged, that‘s why.

As you said, you're new.

Also could be a game design issue. Currently there's a perk combo that allows two survivors to move extremely fast when they heal each other and stay together. And keep in mind, some months ago we were told haste would no longer stack….
Cheating is also another very reasonable possibility. I can't say that is what really happened, but hacking is apparently easy in this game if you pay the right people… So a lot of times even veteran players are second guessing themselves if the hackers are subtle about it.

Survivors are getting basekit mechanics here and there while most killers are getting barely anything. Not to mention kill rates were inflated by the prevalence of "go next".
