Why can’t we get DLC cosmetics in the store?
I know the question sounds insane but hear me out.
Most chapters include bonus cosmetics when you buy the whole chapter. Think of ghost faces white costume and knife, the skull merchants slipshod prototype weapon, or the newest addition the krasue has a red dress that I believe you can only get when buying the chapter. Then there countless dlc recolor cosmetics for survivors, Yun Jin Lee has the polka dot blouse cosmetic, Felix has a golden “who wants to be a millionaire” suit jacket and the most egregious of the bunch, Ellen Ripley’s costume from aliens(you can only get these cosmetics from buying whole chapters)
My point is if you unlock the characters for iridescent shards, you are then permanently unable to get these special cosmetics. For example I have all the characters from the tools of torment chapter(unlocked via iridescent shards), if I would want to get the slipshod prototype and the gold and white shirts for the twin survivors I would have to buy the gigantic chapter pack of content of which I mostly have.
I feel that once one has unlocked all the characters in a chapter these special cosmetics should become available for purchase, or even better connect these items to in game achievements like adept killer or survivor challenges where they can act as trophies for example.
