The Shining - Jack character + Overlook Hotel Map
I rewatched the shining in an imax re-release over the weekend and thought, damn wouldn’t it be sick to have Jack as a character chasing you around with an axe through the overlook hotel in DBD. Have the map be a bit interactive even like after x number of generators are done, the elevator doors flood part of the map, or more ghost esc activity occurs like the “gold room” becomes active with ghost. Could even do things where you think you see ghosts and or jack but its not really there (could cause real panic when doing a generator.)
Playable characters could be Jack, Wendy or Hallorann…
Just spitballing without real thought here but figured it open up a fun discussion. Not to mention it’s a 45 year anniversary since the movie released!
I think it even opens up the potential for a whole stephen king world crossover in the future if it were to be a hit!
