Of certain hexes weird downside

Today I was playing with my friends in chaos shuffle, and we all started the game with hex icon which made us think it was Hex: Undying at that we all were next to dull totem only to find none. Pretty much whole game we played without any idea which hex it was since it was cleansed fast, and in the end we discover it was Krasue's perk, Hex: Overture of Doom. The hex has no effect on survivors themselves and has a clear tell whenever cursed generator is being repaired. This got me thinking: Why some hex perks just hand info about themselves to survivors without any reason? They already have a really big downside of being a hex, and for some reason they also signal survivors about their existence?

Some hex perks, like Devour Hope or Nothing but Misery, make sense that survivors are told about their existence, once their effect comes into play and survivors are affected by them. What I really don't understand are cases like Hex: Undying, Hex: Retribution, Hex: Overture of Doom and nex ptb Vecna perk, Hex: Hive Mind, just notifying survivors about their effect for no actualy reason.

Undying reveals itself when they pass dull totem, even though the effect it has is revealing aura. Why information about aura being revealed should be given to survivors? It's more dire with Retribution, the bigger effect of which is a massive aura reveal whenever hex totem gets cleansed or blessed, and then that happens, survivors are actually notified of it, even though Retribution has a clear tell of applying oblivious if a totem is touched.

The weirdest 2 however are Hive Mind and Overture of Doom. These 2 don't even have any effect on survivors AT ALL yet reveal themselves, because I don't know, why not I guess?

Human Greed and Weave Attunement though not hex perks have similar downside, they reveals themselves to survivors if they come close to a chest or a dropped item. An aura reveal perk telling survivors that they are revealed, why? Is it supposed to help killer or survivor?
