Dead by Daylight × Red Dead Redemption 2 – Chapter Concept
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a crossover chapter concept that I genuinely believe fits Dead by Daylight’s tone, themes, and gameplay philosophy surprisingly well.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is built around betrayal, guilt, survival, and inevitability — all themes that already exist at the core of DBD’s universe.
Survivors
Arthur Morgan
A survivor defined by internal conflict, guilt, and redemption.
Arthur would represent the “self-sacrificing” survivor archetype — someone who takes risks for the team.
John Marston
More grounded and survival-focused, representing endurance and clutch decision-making.
Together, Arthur and John feel like natural DBD survivors: flawed people trying to survive a world that already decided their fate.
Killer – Micah Bell
Killer Name: The Rat
Micah is a perfect Entity-aligned character: manipulative, sadistic, and fueled by betrayal rather than ideology.
Legendary Skin
Legendary Rat
- Human-sized, realistic rat head
- Wears Micah’s cowboy outfit
- A disturbing, symbolic representation of Micah’s nickname
- Similar in spirit to other DBD Legendary skins that lean into horror rather than realism
This turns a narrative metaphor into something visually unsettling and very “DBD”.
Killer Power – Twin Revolvers (working name)
Micah wields two revolvers as his primary power.
- Landing shots fills a power gauge (similar in structure to Trickster)
- When the gauge is filled, survivors take damage (balancing could be Deep Wound or direct damage depending on tuning)
Overheat / Risk Mechanic
To avoid spamming:
- Excessive revolver use causes the weapons to overheat
- While overheated, Micah cannot use his revolvers and becomes an M1-only killer
- Inspired by older Billy overheat concepts: strong pressure, but greedy play is punished
This keeps the power high-risk, high-reward and decision-based.
Secondary Power – Horse Riding (Map Control Tool)
Micah can summon and ride his horse for map traversal only.
- The horse is designed purely for map control, not chase dominance
- Steering is intentionally difficult, comparable to Hillbilly’s chainsaw control
- While riding:
- Micah cannot loop pallets
- Tight turns and precise movement are very hard
- The horse cannot be used effectively inside structures or during standard chases
Revolver While Riding
- Optional design choice:
- Either Micah cannot shoot while riding (safer for balance)
- Or shooting is allowed but with very high difficulty and limited control
- The intention is pressure and repositioning, not downing survivors mid-loop
The horse exists to help Micah rotate between generators and apply presence, not to replace chase fundamentals.
Gameplay Identity
Micah would not be a “spam killer”.
He would reward:
- Timing
- Positioning
- Map awareness
And punish:
- Greed
- Overuse of power
- Poor decision-making
His kit blends ranged pressure, limited burst damage, and risky mobility — all tied together by strong counterplay.
Why This Fits DBD
- Western themes already exist in DBD’s aesthetic range
- Micah’s personality aligns naturally with the Entity
- Arthur and John are flawed survivors, not heroes
- The Legendary Rat skin leans into symbolic horror, not fan service
This chapter would feel unique without breaking DBD’s identity.
Thanks for reading — I’d love to hear thoughts or balance suggestions.

I know Micah is just a cowboy not a monster or such thing but i believe dead by daylight would be actually amazing to see more human killers.Leave a supportive comment if u agree with me.
