2v8 wait time suggestion - bot matches

Right now, the 2v8 queue lets players pass the time by playing a Survivor match while waiting. I think there’s room to expand this feature to make queue wait times more fun.

Proposal

Alongside the existing “Play Survivor While Waiting” option, add a second choice:

“Play a Bot Match While Waiting”

This would let players load into a short, self‑contained match against bot survivors, while the 2v8 queue continues in the background.

Dead by Daylight already uses bots to replace disconnected players, so the AI systems are already in place. This mode wouldn’t need to award Bloodpoints or progress challenges — it would simply give players an opportunity to still play as Killer while waiting.

Why This Helps

• Zero pressure: No real players are affected if you get pulled out mid‑match.
• Practice value: Players can warm up chases, muscle memory, killer mechanics, or perks.
• Accessibility: Great for players who don’t want to commit to a full live match during long queues.

Optional, Not Replacing Anything

This wouldn’t replace the current “Play Survivor While Waiting” feature, but simply gives players a second option to play as Killer.

There is no pulling out anyone during a match in the current system anyway. You will play the match to the end and then get queued to your killer match right away. You never get pulled out of match in progress. 2v8 matches last about 10 minutes and 1v4 matches about 12 minutes so its not really much of a commitment in the first place and if your wait time is less then just wait.

It still could be an option but your reasons were not really correct.
