You know what? I'm done... Default movement speed problem

Hello, developers. You know, I'm starting to notice that sometimes you're having a really hard time balancing the killers powers, the multitude of perks, number of pallets on the map and etc. It's a difficult task, I understand; the game is already quite large. But it seems I've found a real solution to your problems. How about simply giving all killers the same movement speed and rebalancing their powers based on this unchangeable aspect? Wouldn't that make things easier for all of us, huh? Think about it at your leisure.

Why would anyone bother to learn how to use somethin difficult but awesome when everyone could always fall back to simply running the survivor down?

For me personally, movement speed is a vestige. Differences in default speeds constantly lead to endless balance changes, both individual and map-wide (like pallet density). Wouldn't it be more convenient to level this stat and focus more on powers and perks specifically, without regard for ms? That would make balancing a hundred times easier.

Convenient maybe but not very good.

Look at Henry. He's a 4.4 who hits through…well everything. Now what if he's normal speed without anything else? Now he has option 1 of learning his power for quick downs or option 2 to just run them down like anyone else. Now he could do this now, but currently it costs him more time which is detrimental because he's slower. His power would be needing nerfed, making it less effective (and looking at dev track record less interesting)…which kinda encourages more normal running survivors down probably once a Henry fails to land a handful of pot shots. Look at spirit. She's slow normal yet gets bursts of invisible super speed. What would happen to this one? Basically it would have nerfs across the board to powers…which are a reason why people play killers. Less uniqueness, strength, and reason to learn to use the powers.

As a side note, don't think movement speed is something is endlessly changing things like pallet density…

We already live in a world where every new killer is considered a knock off of some past killer and I feel like this would only make that worse.
