Friends 'til the End and BBQ & Chili need a buff!
I’ve played both perks independently several times now and found that, in practice, they aren't as good as they look on paper:
Friends 'til the end:
Even with a fast killer, I wasn't fast enough to hit the Obsession within 20 seconds. Most survivor players are already too skilled at keeping their distance (they usually stayed on the very edge of the map).
That’s why I think the "Exposed" status should last 25 seconds instead of 20 for it to be actually useful; just 5 seconds longer would be enough.
BBQ & Chili:
For this perk, I consider 40 meters simply too far; I would reduce the value to 35 meters, which would still be within a reasonable range.
And perhaps extend the 5 second aura visibility to 7 seconds, so the brain can calmly adjust to the sensory overload caused by multiple auras.
Both changes would make gameplay somewhat more relaxed for Killer players; there would be less pressure, tension, or shoulder cramping caused by rushing.

Frinds Till The End should make obsession exposed for at least 40-60s. BBQ can reveal everyone for 8s and Floods Of Rage can be buffed to 20s to fit the scourge hook requirement.
A heavy amount of killer perks should be buffed a lot. Furtive Chase duration is too short, can be 30s. Batteries Included, Machine Learning and Unbound should be all 10 %, brutal strenght up to 40 %, dying light should be 5 % per stack due to DR, Forced Penance should be 2min broken, Hex: Overture Of Doom - anyone repairing a gen suffers oblivious untill totem is cleansed… so many perks.

you dont think brutal is fine? i use it alot, and i would say he 20% feels pretty good personally. if it were to be buffed i wouldnt do above 25 as i think above that would push a little too far past pallets being a useable tool to delay a killers advance

Pallets mostly delay only bottom killers, so no I think that 40 % would be just fine.

i play alot of bottom killers and im not sure i would agree on a 40% basekit for brutal. 20% itself is highly useful to delete a pallet and remain in chase, even more so with enduring and spirit fury.
and i think a 40% without an addon or other perk to go alongside it to increase the speed is a bit too heavy handed. lower tier killers are hurt by a bunch of pallets undoubtedly but i dont think they are behind to where they need 40%

Friends Til The End has a hidden benefit which is that it tends to cause inadvertent slowdown and inefficient play. The survivor who is the obsession will typically get scared and start doing things like getting off generators to go into lockers to hide their aura, or staying as far away from you as possible at all times even if it means working on generators the team should be saving for later.

Haha no. You're forgetting the amount of high mobility killers in the game. I think these perks should be buffed if certain killers could not access them.

Don't you think we should be thinking about how to buff unpopular weak perks instead of already extremely popular and useful perks

I think Barbeque is fine but Friends till the end needs a buff, really bad perk.

6 downvotes for asking a 5s buff to friends till the end is crazy ngl
5 extra seconds won't do much for the perk imo. You would still need at least 10 to reach the obsession first, and said obsession is fully aware which direction you are coming from, so can make extra distance. High mobility killers are less likely to use the perk because well their m2 are pretty strong. This would of course make perk better, but I don't think it will be good enough to use anyway. The perk is still countered by lockers so, the effectiveness will not increase much.
Bbq buff similarly, it won't make the perk much better by decreasing range, 40m isn't that far plus you can hook further and get info anyway. Duration increase is significant though, 7s is solid time, though tbh bbq is already decent as is, even without lethal pursuer

The problem is that the 10 second thing only applies to slow killers. If you put this perk on Freddy for example, it becomes a lot more threatening. 5 seconds on a killer who needs to walk across the entire map means nothing, but it helps the killers the perk is already good on.
It wouldn't make the perk overpowered to have another 5 seconds, it just wouldn't fix the problems for the killers who can't use it.

Can do both.

The perk still has the counterplay of going into locker, if you are not confident you can loop for the remainder of exposed time. I don't think extra 5 seconds would be problematic on teleporting killers because with a counter and pallet density you should be able to outrun them. Needless to say, Friends is a very telegraphed perk, obsession changing upon a hook is it's unique effect.
And while extra 5s won't fix it's problem of being unusable on slow killers, it would enable more medium mobility killers to at least have a chance of getting value of exposed. Additionally, is it really a problem if it's not usable on all killers? Many perks aren't as good on some, while being pretty good on others. It's a design problem only if it's only good on a single killer, for example Haywire and Singularity. Worthless perk in general, was broken on Singu

Okay, let me make it clear. Current brutal strenght is 20 % global with no requirement or limitation however it's outdated and powercrept by perks such as fire up or even bad jason's pallet perk that gives you at least haste so it's like set up game afoot. If you have 2 gens done, fire up gives you 16 % faster pallet break which is almost the same speed as brutal strenght while providing speeds to another areas. A lot of killers have add ons that increase break speed, some are very bad like Krasue's elixir, some are very good like Springtrap's add on. The break actions are diminished, therefore making brutal strenght 30-40 % would not be that crazy or the perk should get secondary effect. Like you break 20 % faster and perform the actions silently.

If you have only used them "several times" you need to spend more time using them and learn how to get value. Not everything has to be buffed to the point that you get a 4k if your cat walks across your keyboard.

So use Fire Up.

I actually like the idea of buffing Brutal Strength by around 10%. Due to the pallet density and diminishing returns updates, I think that would be pretty good.
40% sounds excessive though.

There are killer add ons that make it 40 % and doesn't seem problematic even when paired with perks. I don't see it being too much, obviously it's the tip.
