MoM outrage getting ignored
so funny how they ignored every single question/statement about mettle of man on the last dev stream. what do guys think is the reason for that?

Probably because, as usual, the knee jerk outrage died down after a week or so. Some of the people on here whip themselves into a frenzy with almost any change and act like the sky is falling.

The concerns about MoM causing the same problems as pre-rework DS existed as soon as the perk description came out. The intelligent portion of the playerbase knew before it even got added to the game what would happen. I'm just glad it's still new so I don't see as many 4 man MoM loadouts as I used to see 4 man DS loadouts before the rework. But I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the majority of people start buying the dlc, levelling up Ash, and unlocking the perk on their main. I'm only 1,450,000 bloodpoints away from the point where levelling Ash will be the next thing on my list so I can get the perk and unlock it on Bill.

We decided that giving feedback on major changes (EGC / Legion Update / Pig changes / Dedicated Servers) was more important than addressing this one perk.
We want to gather more feedback now that MoM has been fixed and now works as intended before we discuss it's effects on the game with the Community.

Every killer needs to have advanced attack which they already kind of have. Just like blink hit is not being a regular attack and so on.

Mettle of Man is fine. It's a strong perk, and has counterplay. I don't see a problem with it actually.

I see a lot of people saying it's ok and a lot saying this is the worst thing ever so kinda hard to make pleasing changes

What counterplay? Magically know who has it and only bring specific killers into the match that can instadown full health survivors instead of injuring them first?

My counter is hard camping every obsession. If they only get two hooks, they don’t get MoM 🕺🏿

Sloppy Butcher. The survivor has to take several hits to get that one free hit, so they need to heal a lot. Sloppy Butcher makes that take longer.

Instaheal is a very rare/ultra rare single use item. Not a consistent enough occurence to count. Medkit is still slowed down. Several people healing means at least 3 people not working on gens. In the end, sloppy butcher still helps slow down the trial, effectively countering the impact that MoM has.

-EGC timer was adjusted from 3 minute base to 2 minute base because of PTB feedback.
-Legion can search lockers during FF now because of PTB feedback.
-Gate opening time was reverted back to 20 seconds because of PTB feedback.
-Pigs RBT timer not ticking down in terror radius was reverted because of PTB feedback.
In short..... you are wrong.

They leave one thing out and the whole forums go crazy.
They need feedback but it's not just in the form of people screaming on the forums.
They need actual feedback from stats also to see it play out in matches, how often it activates, how many kills happen in those matches, how many escape after using it, how many times a player gets away after a hook etc.
If the devs listened to everyone who comes here and complains the game would be a complete disaster as bith sides act like the sky is falling when anything changes.

All the negative responses ive gotten in that thread is mostly people who didnt even read the list and immediately started freaking out and like two people correcting me by saying that a few of those were bug fixes and not nerfs. I am biased but I am not delusional. You need to be living in a pretty thick bubble to believe that an extra hit perk is fine.

I’m a killer main and most of the time it doesnt even get used.
As survivor I only really need get to use it at the exit gate to get an extra hit on me for more points.

Stop this crying about this perk ... survivors also need good perks and it isnt as strong as you think it is. Sometimes i really think that many people cry because they cant do 4k in every match ... Just focus on game and try your best. Remember you dont need 4k to have fun from game.

I don't like MoM but makes sense that they don't adress it in a Q&A about the PTB, for now let's just wait until this whole thing is over before adressing the perk, i don't like it either but we don't have much choice, they also need a selling point for the DLC, other than "It's Ash from Evil Dead".

I play both sides.
Admittedly lately I've been leaning more towards killer.
I do not find MoM to be much of a problem personally, then again maybe it's that 2 of the killers I usually go with have instant downs and don't really need to worry about it too much. (Billy, and Fast Teir 3 Myers).

That does nothing to counter the free hit that MoM gives. They technically don't need to heal at all and it would still trigger before getting downed a 3rd time, but most probably heal one time before MoM triggers. 4 extra seconds of healing is not a counter at all to a free health state.

MoM needs to be reworked. Its unfun to play against and its an additional hit for free. There is no need for even more second chance perks but they make them and put them behind a paywall so people spent money on them.

People keep saying it's an additional hit for free but it costs a whole perk slot for one single use. As well as a lot of time spent healing. That ain't free.

@tomikomPL Hard to have fun when some ass clowns using the most powerful survivor perks go to a giant loop spot and start teabagging you. I'm not saying survivors shouldn't have strong perks. It's the arrogant bastards using them that make MoM and Adrenaline so disliked.

Vocal minority when it comes to MoM. I have zero problems with it and I run Trapper and Hag mostly. Not like they are OP killers.

MoM won't be nerfed fr a long time, it's currently selling the Ash dlc and let's be real Survivors are going to rage if someone they just bought got nerfed that quickly.

Imagine being so bad at a video game you need extra hits cuz you're 30 other crutches weren't enough. Christ.
Also, "THEY LISTEN TO FEEDBACK!" Oh boy, Legion can open lockers, so they gutted his cooldown addons too, and no other changes. They don't listen, they're reacting to the respective outrage to their terrible patches. After multiple ######### patches, and them just dumping on the community and ignoring them constantly people have good reason to be outraged.
People wanted Legion fixed, not removed from the god damn game. People want MoM fix cuz it's literally a free hit for playing the game with 0 downsides. Aura reading isn't scary, and if played right I can use it to just bump into Adrenaline, and it's end-game. Aura-reading doesn't suddenly remove pallets, windows, exhaust perks, etc.
MoM shouldn't exist, and they know it, but instead of addressing it, and nerfing it, they're gonna soak in as much as they can from the Ash DLC before changing it 2 years later.

How often do you even see MoM being used? I rarely see them in my games. And even then, you’ll probably only see 2 at the very most.
I had plenty of games where I didn’t even get a chance for it to proc during the times I’ve used it too.

A free uncounterable perk is totally fine. TOTALLY fine. Literally a stronger version of DS, but nah. It's gucci. It's a survivor perk, so it's fine.
