The problem is Freddy doesn't need to learn anything to win. Asking SO much from survivors makes it totally unbalanced when the killer has to put in no effort.

Bro you do realize that freddy is a boring killer, but he isn't op. For example drop pallets early if there are snares, and im going to assume you are red rank so your teammate should have enough game sense to at least do gens while you are being chased. And object is a good counter to him due to you being 24/7 out of his terror radius while asleep, meaning he can't mind game you. I'm going to assume you are at least decent so as long as you aren't on a map that is killer sided you should be able to run him for a good while. And object would give 3 buffs to your team

C he can't mind game you
And oh god is it worse if you in a swf.
4 object meaning no mind games for him and if he is using fake pallets they look different due to a bug right now.
You can beat freddy, just requires you to have ok coordination and good game sense, even easier if your team are all good loopers

I don't think "halt" means what you think it means.
The only that that halts survivors being able to work on gens is active generator pressure from the killer.
None of those perks halt survivors ability to work on generators. There are no perks that stop survivors from ever doing a generator.
I know you rely on DS to do well as survivor - but please, only use words you understand. Otherwise, this happens.

I mean if you are aiming to delete a survivor in 5 seconds is it really entitlement if they want it play a game to. With that mindset you shouldnt complain about gen speeds.

We both know that when a survivor dies early, it's not because "omg i just wanna play". If that were it, they wouldn't get so salty about it.
No, it's about "how DARE you tunnel me off hook when I was just unhooked in your face". Which is entitlement.
Also, I don't complain about gen speeds. Don't try and strawman me with things I never said, bud. BESIDES, do you find it entitled when killers whine about genrushing, when doing generators is the only objective survivors have? I do. I think it's a silly complaint. "How DARE they do their objective".
Killing survivors is the killers only objective. You queued up as a survivor knowing there was a killer in the game. Their objective is literally in their title. "Killer". That's their only objective. "How DARE they do their objective".
If you want survivors/killers who will play friendly, go play a Custom Match. Survivors and killers aren't eachothers babysitters and it's not up to them to worry about whether the opposing side is having fun.

1. If a survivor dies early tunneling is more or less the reason especially now with this DS bug I got a wraith that camp and tunneled me to death on hawkins with nothing to do. It was funny though I'm ngl.
2. I never said you did I'm simply pointing out the fact that if you have that mindset dont complain about survivors gen rushing. I'm talking about leaving team til stage 2 gen rushing other than that it isnt gen rush.
3. This game is about fun if you could end the game in 2 minutes for either side what is the reason for playing it?

Maybe all killers should be on par with freddy. Nobody says: Oh no, not a clown. They are happy because they have to play against this garbage killer that does most of the time nothing and you have a easy time. Nobody says that about freddy and that's a good thing.
And btw, it's allready proven that freddy is not picked more than any other killer in red ranks.
Or do you want the opposite, that every killer is as hard to play as nurse? I don't think that the majority of killer players will keep on playing then.

- If you've ever played solo queue, you'd know that most of the time when a survivor dies early, it's because they were an idiot who either ran right into the killer after being unhooked, or thought they were better at looping than they actually were. It's hardly ever a tunneling issue.
- Genrushing exists, but it only happens about 5% of games. If that. What people call genrush is a gen popping in the first minute. What genrushing REALLY is, is 3 gens popping in the first 90 seconds.
- This isn't an argument. We are not each others babysitters. Nobody particularly enjoys losing no matter the role they play, and you don't die early every game unless you suck at the game.
- The issue is, you're talking about this as if tunneling/camping etc happens every game. It doesn't. Not even close.

Ok screw all these changes because they are too complicated and could be easily abused.
1 simple change. If you get on a generator, hop in a locker, heal, unhook, sabo, open a chest, or do bones the perk deactivates. Because you can not be doing anything of these things if you are being "tunneled" Then its compensation buff is if it is active and you are in a chase, the timer does not go down, however to lessen the time of perk to 30 seconds, because you don't need that extra time if the timer pauses while in chase. Simple as that, it keeps the counter play of slugging for the killer and it would remove instances of the killer getting another person hooked, going after someone on BBQ, downing them, and still getting hit with DS.
Also if you are a good enough survivor you can waste so much time of the killer's if they decide to tunnel you. You get chased around for 5 min and you still have DS so effectively the killer is wasting so much time tunneling.
This would make it a true anti tunnel perk that survivors can't use as an invincibility perk or use it as a weapon against the killer.

Technically, you can jump in a locker while you're being tunneled. But at that point, you're trying to force the DS on the killer. Basically "asking" to be tunneled, so it does make sense.

You have few enough killers already, and with tunneling being unfortunately necessary once you start hitting the near purple to purple/red ranks if you even want a couple of kills you really should start learning how to hide better or loop better if not both unless you want thirty minute or longer queues as survivor or to only get quick matches as a killer you're clearly not gonna enjoy playing if you guys get the nerfs you keep brainstorming through your immense wisdom all the time.
And no, I'm not killer main (99% of the time I am survivor and wouldn't appreciate longer queues myself but I won't blame kilelrs for it), I already hate playing killer much as it already is since either it ranks up way too quickly or you are forced to become a calculator to be able to have any fun while avoiding pipping at the same time. You would even lose some of the sweatier players if the devs went too far listening to you guys, and the only people left willing to play killer more than a few roflstops of themselves would be the sweatiest kind of killers that I doubt most of you guys would enjoy facing. Imagine waiting in lobby for thirty minutes for it to throw you a red rank killer, even rank 1 kilelr sometimes, even though you're brown or grey ranked survivor just to be able to get a match going for you because no killers in your ranks had fun playing any longer? It's an honest case of "you think you do, but you don't". I'll tell you one thing, if you didn't quit, you would certainly start figuring out how to at least hide better then.

Do you not even realize that BBQ encourages focusing someone else, rather than 'tunneling' or 'camping' after hooking you? Do you guys even read your own posts afterwards just to see what you sound like? I swear survivors in asyms often sound like spoiled chillens that literally just want something to constantly complain about and get attention over, without even caring if it even makes sense.

DS is and should be a strong perk but multiple uses would just be too strong. The punishment for killers who relentlessly tunnel is that it will cost them the game. When they're focusing exclusively on one survivor, they're giving the other three survivors the opportunity to do gens.
DS would be fine with just two nerfs. The first being that it can't activate after the final gen is activated. The second being that the timer is reduced to 35 seconds, down from 60 seconds. A compensatory buff would be that the timer pauses while in a chase.
I know, two nerfs and a single buff seems unfair but the timer pausing in chases is VERY strong and 35 Seconds is about the average time a mediocre killer should be spending on a chase.

Love how killers ######### and moan about DS and Unbreak-a-bill, and borrowed time, and yet all the perks exists solely to counter a specific playstyle (sadly, the most common one). Don't slug and you don't have to worry about Unbreak-a-bill. Don't be scum and tunnel, and suddenly BT and DS are useless perks.
But hey, since we're on about it, CLEARLY DS is *sooooo* much stronger than say: NOED, Franklin's (worst perk in the game, don't even get me started), or Rancor.
You want counters, where's my counter to Rancor? Killers these days, and survivors are the entitled ones 🙄

Telling a lie for the thousands time does not make it true. Even when you go out of your way to not tunnel a survivor, if you are too fast with your hooks, you can get a 59s stun out of nowhere. And when survivor play it super aggressively and practically jump into your face, thats hardly tunneling either, but the survivor playing stupid.

Sure, and the next suggestion would be to not hit any survivor, right? Slugging is sometimes necessary to get a grip on the game, given the gen speeds can be so damn high. Apart from that, slugging happens when survivor do obvisous DS plays, which the killer does not fall for, or the survivors are playing extremely stupid (bc. slugging is not effective when you don't know where the others to slug are). So the survivors cause the slugging THEMSELVES!

Are you fkn kidding me? You have 5 full gens to recognize it! Just play stealthy and you are fine. And if you got obsession late bc of DS, it was your decision to use that. Rancor is a totally mediocre perk, complaining about that and implying it is better than DS, ######### are smoking dude?

Here's an easy and logical fix for DS. Make it so that if a survivor goes down before you during that 40/50/60 seconds, it deactivates. The Killer clearly isn't tunneling if they downed another survivor.
"Oh, but what if they down someone right after I get unhooked?" That's simple. Don't unhook in the Killer's face, idiot. "But what if they're face-camping" then say "Well, he's dead" and just do Gens. If the other 3 survivors that aren't hooked do separate Gens, that'll be 3 Gens done before the first guy dies, and a 4/5th can be about half done.
And also, every Perk has counter play to it. Not all of them are considered "fun" but they do have counterplay. Don't want to be hit with DS? Ignore the guy that got unhooked. If need be, slug them. Don't like NOED or Ruin? Just do totems. Undying keeping NOED or Ruin alive? Just do all 5 Totems. Make sure it stays dead.

I personally find clown boring because bus counter is pretty easy and so is he to beat. I dont mind freddy he needs dreamworld and snare adjustments.

1. While that can be the case solo queuesurvivors are tunneled consistently. You can deny it, but especially with this DS bug going on it's even more frequent.
2. While genrushing foes exist and it's not ccommon. 3 gens in 90 seconds as far as I know is impossible a solo gen is 80 seconds doubling is about 45+ it still doesnt add to 90 even with BNP I doubt it.
3. I mean once again DS bug man and hard tunneling is common in this day and age of dbd not saying its every game but it's very common now my friends and other forum members could vouch. These 1 second stuns make early game deaths very easy I ended up trying it out myself and I managed to get someone out at 5 gens at the very start.
4. Once again camping and tunneling is nearly every game considering end game canp/tunnel or doing it at a low gen amount to secure a kill. Not to mention...... DS bug!

Oh boo hoo killers have a single good perk combo. You know what's worse to go against than Undying+Ruin? Hmm, let's see... Unbreakable, DS, ADRENALINE, Borrowed Time, Detectives Hunch, and Leadership (I think that's what it's called I forget.). Survivors have much, MUCH better perks than killers. And the fact that people don't realize that Keys are stronger than Mori's because you can still burn an offering to go to a survivor sided map like Dead Dawg or Ormond.

I think DS is fine in its current state. I personally tunnel people, and if they have DS, after I catch them, they don't have it in the endgame. EZ.
It's not because tunneling is fun, but it's because DS isn't fun to go against. Survivors already has BT in the endgame and it has unlimited usage.

Decisive Strike was never made to be an "anti-tunneling" perk. It never will be aimed to be an "anti-tunneling" perk. Tunneling is a legit strategy when used properly.
Honestly getting tired of all these new players making ######### up about how the game is supposed to work, or how things are supposed to work. If you wern't here when the perk was made, then stop trying to talk like you know something without doing research.
