Design An Addon For Your Favorite Killer(s)!
I'll start.
Nemesis:
- Empty Rocket Launcher (Uncommon). You now have 4 zombies active on the map, but you no longer gain mutation from killing zombies.
- Poisonous Hunter Claws (Uncommon). Infecting a survivor with your tentacle strike also injures them.
- Purified Virus (Common). Any survivor that is killed while infected spawns a zombie at their location.
Hag:
- Human Effigy (Uncommon). The illusionary Hags spawned by traps will now pursue survivors for 3 seconds after spawning. Teleporting to your traps incurs a 20 second cooldown.
- Rare Swampland Fish (Ultra Rare). Instead of summoning traps, you raise a clone of yourself that actively seeks out and attacks the closest survivor. This clone moves at 80% of your movement speed, is destroyed if stunned or blinded and lasts for 20 seconds. Summoning a clone takes 3 seconds, and you may have 3 clones active at any time.
Wraith:
- Diamond Dust (Ultra Rare). You can no longer decloak. Instead, you can attack while cloaked, but you move at your base uncloaked movement speed. Your terror radius is no longer suppressed while cloaked.
Pig:
- Hoffman's Final Trap (Rare). Jigsaw boxes no longer spawn. Instead, the trap must be disarmed by another survivor, and imposes several difficult skill checks. Failing any of these will place the trapped survivor into the dying state. You can only have one active trap at a time.
Doctor:
- Bloodstained Paddles (Uncommon). Your illusions now turn to follow survivors, and have a terror radius and stain identical to yours.

Description: Blue Pin worn on Susie’s backpack during both her school and delinquent adventures.
Rarity: Purple/ Very Rare
Effect: All pallets vaulted during frenzy are blocked for 5 seconds. The same pallet cannot be blocked more than once.

Every hatchet you hit a survivor with is instantly reloaded.
Increases the time it takes to reload by 200%.

Tattoo's Middle Finger (UR)
The prized middle finger of a large tattooed man. Has a faint taste of machinery oil.
- Tonic Gas Clouds will now apply regression to generators.
Iridescent Finger Bracelet (UR)
Kenneth's most prized possession. A bracelet with four of his favorite fingers attached to it.
- The Bottle Carrying capacity is capped to 3 bottles.
- Antidote Gas Clouds are automatically activated upon contact.
Bubba:
Chainsaw File (C)
A file whose purpose is to hone Chainsaw chains.
- The chainsaw is now activated by holding down the power button. Fully charging it up and releasing the power button will unleash the chainsaw sweep. Releasing the power button without fully charging it up will immediately cancel it.
- Reduces charge count to 1. The charge count is capped.
- Increases the base chainsaw sweep duration by 1 second.
- Increases the revving threshold of the chainsaw by 5 seconds.
- Charges immediately replenish.
I think you already know where the above add-on is going.

Pyramid Head
James Sunderland's Jacket - Ultra Rare
You are no longer slowed when aiming your Punishment of the Damned. (Think of Nemesis' aiming)
The amount of time you can do the Rites of Judgement is decreased by 50%.

- Encountered Grave (Rare). You can instantly teleport to the location of your illusory doctors, with a 60 second cooldown. Replaces Static Blast.

Kramer's Storage - Ultra Rare
- At the start of the Trial, 4 random Lockers are highlighted in blue for the rest of the trial:
- You may regain 1 Reverse Bear Trap by searching a highlighted locker when your RBT counter is at 0.
- The searched locker's aura is then removed, with 1 other highlighted locker also losing its aura: these may no longer be searched to regain RBTs.
More traps are a thing most Pigs salivate for, plus some RBT randomness thrown in on the killer end too.

I would opt to do a complete rework of Nemesis' iridescent addons.
Current Iridescent Umbrella Badge: Survivors are inflicted with the exposed status effect for 30 seconds after injecting a vaccine
New Iridescent Umbrella Badge:
- The Nemesis can see the aura of infected survivors when they are further than 48 meters away from him.
- Survivors see The Nemesis' aura for 5 seconds after injecting a vaccine
Current Shattered S.T.A.R.S. Badge: Tremendously increases zombie movement speed for 60 seconds after a generator is repaired.
New Shattered S.T.A.R.S. Badge:
- Considerably decreases the cooldown after breaking a pallet with Tentacle Strike (From 2.5 seconds to 2 seconds)
- You begin the Trial in Mutation Stage 2

Mm. Nemesis really needs some mechanic to make the virus more than a minor inconvenience for survivors. I barely even see people cleanse the damn thing now, it honestly just seems better not to bother.

Iridescent oni addon: Iridescent kanobo handle
Your blood fury meter no longer decreases while demon dashing
Your turn rate for demon dashing is considerably better (20%)
You lose considerably more of your blood fury meter when downing a survivor (20% more of the amount you usually lose)

Ah, Oni. One of the killers that I really want to like, but struggle to.
I dig your idea though.
Here's one of mine:
Namahage Knife: Blood orbs no longer spawn. Instead, hitting 3 survivors will automatically cause you to enter demon form. This effect will also trigger upon the completion of 3, 4 and 5 generators.

So bassically if you can stab 4 survivors in a single frenzy the 4th one will be downed

Alright, let me run down my killers in rotation:
Wraith
Ultra Rare ~ "Blink" - Spirit
Completely removes the Wraith's shimmer.
Your footsteps now create a trail of smoke.
Part of the reason why I want this is because I am purely a sucker for jumpscaring survivors. It's why I love Jumpscare Myers so much. So Wraith having an Ultra Rare that just removes the shimmer effect but also gives him the same trail of smoke they're planning to give Spirit sounds pretty fun honestly.
Huntress
Ultra Rare ~ Iridescent Handle
Successful hits will grant you 1 hatchet.
Part of what makes Huntress really good is her range. So why not give her an add-on where, if she is good enough, she never has to have any downtime at all? Imagine not being able to feel safe around her because you know if she hits you, that hatchet is coming back right into her pocket. That sounds absolutely lovely.
Doctor
Ultra Rare ~ "Control" - Carter's Notes
Survivors inflicted with the Madness 3 Status Effect has their controls reversed.
I want this purely so Madness 3 is just absolutely a pain to go up against. Imagine a scenario where someone is one shock away from Madness 3 and before they could vault a window, they run backwards into the Doctor's arms. That just sounds so cool and I wish they add add-ons that mess with your controls in the future.
Cannibal
Very Rare ~ Meat Hook
Increase movement speed when carrying a survivor by 20%.
Bubba and Texas Chainsaw Massacre practically gave DBD the idea of hooking survivors. Why isn't there more references to his meat hooks? Also, would make Bubba more viable with Starstruck builds.
Nightmare
Ultra Rare ~ The Original Claws
Reverts Freddy to Old Freddy
I want this purely so I can play him again. I miss Old Freddy.
Pig
Ultra Rare ~ Hoffman's Reverse Bear Trap
One Survivor starts with a bear trap that cannot be taken off.
Bear Trap timer increased to 9 minutes.
This is purely to reference the final Reverse Bear Trap scene. Hoffman liked unfair games, and so does Amanda. So having an add-on where one survivor is GUARANTEED to die in 9 minutes if all gens are not done at that point feels appropriate. And gens flies anyways, it's up to the Pig to drag the game for as long as 9 minutes for the Survivor's head to pop.
Clown
Rare ~ Finger Keychain
Gain a speed boost of 3% for 5 seconds for everytime a bottle directly hits a survivor.
I want this purely to reward skillful Clown hits. Getting bottle hits directly is rough as Clown, so having a little reward for it in the form of an add-on feels fair to me.
Legion
Ultra Rare ~ Iridescent Blade
Survivors who have been hit once by Feral Frenzy can be hit once more to apply Deep Wound Damage.
I mainly want this to have a bit of Old Legion back. Not to make him incredibly overpowered, no. But so it can feel like I am giving several stab wounds consecutively to Survivors. That is what attracted me to Old Legion and I want a bit of it back. Plus, it'd make Deep Wound Study a bit more viable and his power could realistically DOWN someone. Maybe.
Oni
Very Rare ~ Bloodied Kanobo
Survivors who are injured and hit during a Demon Strike are hindred for 90 seconds.
I want getting hit with Oni's Kanobo to be a bit more punishing than just getting downed. I want it to feel like the survivors are seriously injured, even if they are supposedly "healed up" if they get slugged. This gives Oni a chance to catch them again if they plan on slugging.
Deathslinger
Ultra Rare ~ Iridescent Bullet
The Redeemer has two shots before it can reload.
One of THE BIGGEST timesinks of playing Deathslinger is reloading. So having an Ultra Rare that allows you to potentially down a survivor before reloading is a lot better than anything he has right now.
Trickster
Very Rare ~ Stage Shoes
Gain a speed boost of 1% for every knife you land on a survivor, lasts for 5 seconds.
One of the things that keeps Trickster from becoming consistent is his movement speed. He needs to have constant line of sight of his target so he can whack knives into him. So why not give him that speed in exchange for hitting his shots?
Nemesis
Ultra Rare ~ Rocket Launcher
Gain a Rocket Launcher.
Why? Why not?
Pinhead
Ultra Rare ~ Iridescent Chains
Cause chained survivors to double the time it needs to break a single chain.
You can still break chains with environments, it's just that if Pinhead catches you out in the open (which is pretty hard considering how fast his chains move), he'll most definitely down you.

There's a reason why a lot of the add-ons I want are Ultra Rare. I want Ultra Rares to actually impact heavily how the game is played. I want it to change how a Killer is played, how effective certain strategies are. It's why I'm disappointed in ######### like the Iridescent Umbrella Badge. It's not worth the ######### Ultra Rare.

Ghostface: Cod liver oil - Replenishing the synovial fluid in joints helps keep you limber. Teabag considerably faster
Trapper: Cash wad - Traps are placed with a wad of bank notes, tempting those to put there hand in
Pyramid head: Gloss Finish - You could easily do your makeup in the pyramids reflection, flashlight beams are deflected back into the faces of those shining them.

Lester, a family dog, asphyxiated by the boogeyman.
When putting a survivor into the dying state in Evil Within III, gain the undetectable status effect for 15 seconds

Devious Dust- Any time a survivor disarms a trap, Trapper gains the Undetectable status for 15 seconds.
Blinding Powder- Inflicts Blindness on any survivor for 60 seconds. All survivors who come into contact with the inflicted player also become Blinded for 60 seconds.
Oil of Remorse- Any survivor who disarms a trap receives a 25% penalty to their action speed. Applies to generator repair, healing and totem cleansing.

Spirit: Overpowered addons that everyone hates- When a survivor cleanses your haunted grounds (because we know your running it) Just phase at the speed of sound to the nearest gen and down everyone in like 20 seconds, then everyone dc's
Legion: Iridescent Glock- gives the legion a gun

• Swing Chains
- Increases the rate at which survivors fall asleep by 10%.
- Decreases the duration at which survivors are immune from falling asleep by 10%.

Stalking the obsession fills the meter at twice the normal speed. The obsession can be stalked indefinitely. Stalking other survivors fills the meter at 75% of normal speed. Other survivors reach maximum stalk 25% earlier than normal.

Tyrant's Trenchcoat (Ultra Rare)
- Removes 1 Zombie from the trial
- Contaminated Survivors damaged by a Zombie are put in the Dying State.
- Increases Zombie movement speed by 2.75m/s
- Increases Zombie respawn time by 15 seconds.
- Increases the visual height of Zombies by 1 meter (because why not)
The idea would be to dedicate all of your zombie strength to one zombie to make a "tyrant" zombie. I think it'd be funny.
Hillbilly -
Mysterious Serum (Ultra Rare)
A glowing orange serum that seems to originate from the Entity's Realm itself. When used as fuel for the Chainsaw, it grants the Hillbilly abilities mastered by a beast of the fog who shares his strength in speed.
- During the cool-down time after hitting an obstacle while Chainsaw Sprinting, press the Power Button to initiate another Chainsaw Sprint in the direction that you're facing.
- This effect goes on cooldown for 15 seconds.
This is literally Blight in an addon.
Trickster -
Musical Blades (Common) - Replaces Memento Blades
- Grants 200% Bonus Bloodpoints for Showstopper Score Events post-trial.
- Increasing a Survivor's Laceration Meter with a Blade will play musical notes.
The notes would make up an entire song, too :). Replaces the regular Blade hit sound.
Michael Myers -
Child's Clown Mask (Ultra Rare)
- There is no cooldown between attacks when downing a Survivor who is not your Obsession in Evil Within III.
- Downing your Obsession in Evil Within III will result in an increased Successful Attack Cooldown of 5 seconds.
- Downing a Survivor who is not your Obsession in Evil Within III will decrease the duration of Evil Within III by 3 seconds.
and then run infectious fright :)

The Spirit
Juniper Bonsai (I’m not creative with names but this add on sucks so let me rework it)
When The Spirit comes within 8 meters of a survivor that wasn’t in an active chase for the past 20 seconds after phasing, that survivor suffers the exposed status effect for 10 seconds.
Decreases movements speed by 10%.

Mother Daughter Ring (Ultra Rare Rework)
Damaging a Survivor after exiting Yamaoka's Haunting will grant one of the following pairs of effects for the next usage of Yamaoka's Haunting if it's activated within 8.25 seconds:
There is a 60% chance of:
- Yamaoka's Haunting Movement speed is increased by 40%, and
- Yamaoka's Haunting Reappearance duration after a Phase-Walk is increased by +0.6 seconds
There is a 40% chance of:
- Yamaoka's Haunting Movement speed is decreased by 40%, and
- Yamaoka's Haunting may not be exited prematurely when used.
This addon would reward short phases (as you need to activate it within 8.25s after hitting, which is impossible if you use the full duration of your power by basekit) with the potential of gaining a massive benefit when used after a hit. HOWEVER, it may also give you a huge downside, locking you into a slow version of your ability until the duration expires. You can completely avoid this random chance scenario by not using your power for 8.25s after hitting a survivor, however. "That sucks!" That's the fun of using it :) "That's too strong!" I wouldn't know as I haven't tried it myself.
Blight -
Adrenaline Vial (Rare Rework)
- Decreases The Blight's base movement speed to 4.4m/s
- Increases the maximum Look angle during a Rush by +100%
This is incredibly simple. It forces Blight to always use his power to get hits as he'd be 4.4m/s, but it allows him to get insane lunges as his look angle during a rush is massively increased, so his power has the potential to be used in ways that it couldn't otherwise be used. And no, this is not already possible with DPI tricks anymore. Those are gone.
Trickster -
Magnetized Blades (Very Rare)
Blades that attract one another with a surprising amount of force. To fascinated crowds, Ji-Woon's brilliant performances seemed only possible with the use of magic.
- A maximum of 2 Blades can stick onto the environment
- Within 4m of a Blade stuck to the environment, Survivors will suffer from a 2% Hindered effect per Laceration applied to them, up to a maximum of 10%.
This effect does not stack.
This addon is a creative way of hindering survivors with blades, which is something that I've seen asked for a ton.
Doctor -
Copper Chessboard (Very Rare)
A fancy chessboard owned by Herman Carter. Though it was never used in any of his experiments, it would certainly provide an effective conductor for electricity.
- Shock Therapy will no longer affect survivors.
- Shock Therapy will instead cover the ground with electricity for 24 seconds. After 12 seconds, the electricity activates, applying the regular effect of Shock Therapy to any survivor standing within it every 3 seconds.
This is essentially a Shock Therapy that's delayed by 12 seconds, but once that delay is over, Shock Therapy continuously happens every 3 seconds without you having to manually shock until the remaining 12 seconds are over. I have no idea if this would be strong, super weak, or way too braindead, but I find the concept pretty interesting.
