Good survivors can beat Bubba even if he face camps. I got completely destroyed that one time

Usually if bubba Fc the best you can do is a trade.

Some dont dare to make chases anymore because of the weird loop hitboxes with the map reworks that get them to go into tantrum for no reason

"Its not fun to be camped" isnt the same as " Trapper is unfun because of the current trend of newer maps being brightly lit and lacking foliage to cover traps ".
The first is a appeal to feelings and the other is a proper argument.

- Literal facecamping is already an issue the devs have said they are actively working to address in their last dev chat. Not just Bubba but in general. They didn’t give specifics but said they did have something in the early stages of testing so hopefully it will pan out.
- Doctor is fine. You said you wanted to focus on “things that aren’t fun for both sides” but I fail to see how a killer that is good at finding hidden survivors isn’t fun for the killer or fun for survivors who like being chased? He’s never cited as being an overpowered killer so why nerf him?
- Nurse can be evaded to some extent in a chase, although obviously top tier Nurses are tough to dodge. I hate playing Nurse personally though because staring at her feet all game is the most annoying game mechanic in DbD.
- Decisive Strike is fine since they made it so it gets cancelled if the survivor touches a gen, and I say that as a killer main who never plays survivor. Yeah sometimes a survivor gets away because of it but if the perk was never effective it wouldn’t be a good perk.
- I disagree that the game shouldn’t be at its core about kills and escapes. Those being the ultimate goals are fine. I do think, though, that they made a mistake in the initial design where they decided to treat survivors as individuals rather than as a team. The game should have treated how the survivors do as a whole as the end goal rather than how each survivor does individually. Semi-cooperative game design in general rarely works well and DbD is no exception. It just exacerbates things like rage quitting because a survivor personally gets downed and thinks “well I’ve lost so screw the other survivors”. From the outset they should have had a well defined win condition for the killer and for the survivors as a team, but instead left what a “win” is intentionally vague and said “survivors aren’t really a team but work together but really you get extra points if you abandon them sometimes”. If I had to pick one big flaw in the game design it would be that.

I'm not the one lying, you are. Many of those 'hide and seek' Killers have add-ons that let them see auras within a set range. There goes your 'hide and seek' bullshit.
Or they have Killer Instinct, which tells them where Survivors are.
And there's perks that give aura reading, like BBQ.
But please, keep posting more lies about the game to fit your narrative of 'nerf every Killer I hate'. No one's falling for it. 🤥

Theorycrafting about face-camping Leatherface is completely different than actual practice. You can theory-craft all you want about 3 escapes with a face-camping Leatherface but in actuality, face-camping Leatherface is shown, on average to hover around 3 kills, 1 escape.

I think killers attack cooldown and survivor injure boost is unfair? remove both and game will be fun.

Don't tell me to run Calm Spirit. Survivors DO NOT KNOW WHICH KILLER THEY ARE FACING.
It's so easy to type in a forum, "just counter him dude!" but what you are really saying is I now have only 3 perk slots because my 4th perk slot must be Calm Spirit from now until the end of time just in case a Doctor pops up in my match.
also, using rocks and obstacles to hide from a killer is done by every survivor every game.... survivors have 3rd person view to achieve this all the time. There is FUN anxiety when you are hiding and the killer is walking past you on the opposite side of the rock and doesn't knwo you are there. Or the killer came to search for you after you completed a gen, and you are circling a thick tree to remain hidden.
But the Doctor RUINS ALL OF THIS. The guy literally just uses his AOE and boom, next target found. It's beyond stupid. I dont know why the devs would ever greenlight this ability, it destroys one of the CORE ASPECTS of this game.

if you don't wanna run calm spirit then stop bitching about it, I literally just gave you a solution and you're saying you're not gonna follow it because you don't feel like using calm spirit. well, okay then, don't use it and stop crying about a balanced ability on a mediocre killer

I think it has more to do with SWFs feeling entitled to getting the whole team out. Hence why they tend to run the second, third, fourth, and fifth chance perks.
I mean that's just something you have to live with. Circle of Healing and Medkits are useless against Plague but people run them anyway because they're very strong and give you nearly guaranteed value each game. Start running calm spirit more often to counter Pain Resonance, Infectious Fright, Doctor, Freddy, etc.

Has anyone else noticed every 'Unfun mechanic' is literally a masive Killer nerf? Nothing Survivor-nerfing in that list at all.

Honestly, someone should do an experiment where they run DBD killers using the actual bot code and see what survivors say if they get matched with a mindless bot 12 games in a row. Do they still BM it? Do they still think the game is challenging in the least? Etc.

The game should be oriented towards FUN for both sides.
Do you see me complaining about Legion's tracking ability? no. But Doctor's AOE Reveal scream is so stupid, plus it adds stacks and when you reach 3 stacks you can't even use pallets anymore. So first it breaks hide and seek component of game, and then it breaks the chase aspect. IMO Doctor needs a complete rework so he's not such an anti-fun toxic killer.

Not outdated at all. Most killers still need to hide and seek to find survivors. Survivors hide behind rocks and trees using 3rd person perspective to remain hidden from patrolling killers.
It's core gameplay even to this day, and it should be nourished and encouraged.

Sure, why don't we give him an actual ranged attack skin to Nemesis or Pyramid Head so he can down people at loops. Or maybe make him work as a longer range version that doesn't work in loops.
