Just got 4k and double pip with Trapper and I didn't get the adept.
Only his perks and some addons.

Same problem here for Pig and Plague, was also planning on getting more adepts next so probably more whenever someone looks at this

This just happened to me on steam my user name is ECK2335. I got a 4K and actually met the old requirement for the adept on the Nightmare Freddy and did not get the achievement.\

Hi, same thing happened to me, trying to get Hag's Adept. I played with her 3 personal perks, and i killed all 4 surivors. Merciless Killer popped at the end, but when i checked my achivements it wasn't completed.

Same problem here, tried with Bubba (got it at first attempt), Plague 2 attempts (no achivement), Twins one attempt (Got it). Didn't try with other killers

Sent a support ticket so they'd be aware. Did 2 games as huntress yesterday, both merciless, nothing. I am assuming it has to do with how the achievement is coded. I have a feeling it isn't tied to you getting a merciless rating, but with you getting 2 pips. Saying this because the old requirement for merciless was getting 2 pips, but now it doesn't require 2 pips, so it's possible when the achievements were made they tied them to getting 2 pips as it was essentially the same thing at the time. I don't pay attention to my pips but I'm kinda awful with huntress so it's possible I was getting 4k but only 1 pip and the game didn't recognize it as earning merciless bebause its still looking for me gaining 2 pips, and not me gaining the words merciless killer. This is just completely a guess However because I don't check how many I gain, it's just a possibility I'm thinking. If anyone can confirm they got 2 pips but no achievement then that'd be a huge help.

It's not just Adepts, but also the "Tools of the Trade" achievement. Which also requires you to get Merciless.

l just got this one for Sadako after a few tries. 4K 4 ire double pip, but it didn’t show up. Didn’t know it was bugged until I checked the forum lol. Hopefully this helps.
