Simeon was adopted so currently Anna is by herself. Wanting lots of attention so I don't know if it's cause Simeon is gone or if it's because I've been here often enough that she likes me but either way!

Pics from this weekend, we made it all about Kazi taking her to her favorite places like the beach because today she went in for surgery to remove parathyroid cancer. Surgery went well. She's staying at vet tonight so they can monitor her. Depending on test results tomorrow may need to stay a second night but hopefully everything will be good and we'll have her back home for snuggles and pics of her being adorable.

SOMEONE threw up twice (one in my bedroom and one in my living room). Anna at the shelter seems awfully lonely. Maybe she needs a friend...

Got a call first thing this morning at 7AM that she did well overnight but they were going to keep her for the day to continue monitoring and would call later with update. It's almost 3PM now - they were doing tests every 8 hours so should hopefully hear again soon if we can pick her up today or if they want to keep her overnight again. Feels so weird not having her home and cats seemed confused that she's not around.

Brought Kazi home last night. She's so happy to be home, her tail was wagging so hard when we pulled into the driveway. Last night she went into such a deep sleep that her tongue was poking out while she snored. 😂

little status update: since quitting uni I have applied for an entry test for a dutch-english translation vocational training. The lady that went over it said I was "well-above the minimum entry requirement" so I'm feeling pretty good rn

And @GoodBoyKaru that Djungelskog is so stinking adorable. I haven't been to Ikea in ages, I'll have to sometime (I saw people using the color-changing, head-shaped lamps as displays for various Halloween masks, and now I need some badly).

Got a new feeder (the blue one in the front)
Filled it with Mealworms as I bought a thing of mealworms but nobody went after them when it was mixed with seed...
Not terribly active yet (though I've seen birds take from it but mostly the same little chickadees in my other feeders) but I'm hoping to get some bigger birds to go after it once they realize it exists. Especially now that it's March so winter is closing out soon...

It's not something I do terribly often and I don't really even have a set schedule since my headache junk is not consistent. But I've been streaming Elden Ring for my buddies who love Elden Ring a bit too much and wish to live vicariously through me playing through it for the first time. It's super good!
I also consistently run "The Cat Cam" when I stream so there's a very good chance that you'll see Holly or Olive on camera at times :D I actually bought a second camera for it but as unfortunately my old camera just isn't working well so still just the one. I'm hoping to have a second one up and running come next stream (one that is free moving for when the cats are awake and one static on the Cat Tree at all times since if they are asleep, one is usually in there).

They're making progress, that's what matters. My cats are snuggle buddies because they grew up together.
It also helps that Darryl is the biggest snuggle buddy and demands constant snuggles. Not long after I took that picture Dante wanted to get up and stretch but Darryl wouldn't let him. Darryl would hold Dante down and bite his head until he stopped trying to get up. I ended up shaking treat bag so Darryl would get off Dante. Dante did the biggest stretch when he could finally move. 😂

These two don't cuddle but they are playing together, which is great. They tear around the house chasing each other around, which is fun!

Do you have any kitty tunnels? Those are fun for when the cats chase eachother. They're usually $20 in toy aisle but if you wait for Halloween/Christmas they usually have seasonal ones that end out going to clearance for like $2 even they're exactly the same as non-holiday ones.

I didn't buy one for Holly as she never showed interest in anything like that but Olive liked to crawl into places so I bought one. As expected, Olive uses it a lot in play while Holly rarely touches it
Here is KITTY WORLD with their tunnel, toy bin, spinner toy, big tower, and heated cat bed because these cats live better than most humans :D

Like...75% of my life is designed for the kittys :D
They have a heated bed in the living room and a heating pad in my bedroom. I'm considering though switching the pad out and buying another one of those heated beds because the bed is always on where I have to "turn on" the pad, which is just a pain in the butt...
