Does anyone know how to stop this error message from appearing and crashing my game?

your error seems to indicate some problem with the graphic cards driver - Try to update or completely reinstall it.
did you overclock your graphic card? Then revert that and see if error still comes up
have you changed the gameconfig.ini file in any way (FPS or something?) - try to check game files and/or reinstall the game (which you should do anyways)
that said, you are the second person to post this error message just recently and it may be some kind of bug, so if nothing from the above helps, create a bug report with the error message and describe how/when it crashes:

I tried to update the graphics driver and it said it was already on the latest update. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, that also didn't seem to do anything at all. I don't know what overclocking the graphic card means.
I've never changed the gameconfig.ini file, never touched anything related to the files in this game. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Dead by Daylight countless times because I have other games to play too, that did nothing at all. I tried making a bug report and Mandy said it's a technical issue, not a bug, but nobody else is answering about this, and I have no idea what to do.

You could try to go back to a previous version of the graphic cards driver, if you are sure it worked with he same hardware before it might actually be a problem with the newest software?
