Dispelling Sphere still seems to be slightly underwhelming
While it's definitely a nice tool for gathering information, one that is more than appropriate for a killer that has 3 other powers on top of it, I still believe that it is largely out shadowed by the other 3 spells.
The main issues I have with it are the following:
1. The slowdown from casting the sphere is completely redundant since it's a spell that does not pose a direct threat to survivors, thus it would make sense to get rid of it entirely.
2. From my knowledge the Sphere does not deactivate the Hand nor the Eye of Vecna. I believe that makes little sense from both spell's theme and gameplay perspective. In case it's actually supposed to disable those, I fully take my words back.
3. Sphere does not provide much utility, even though it's the spell that is supposed to be the one spell that is solely revolved around this exact utility. It gives information, but it's delayed, and you mostly get it while being busy with something else. It deactivates magical items, but there's only one kind of them that significantly helps a lot during chases (those being items of Interloper) while the other one helps to counter Sphere directly.
To give Dispelling Sphere more utility while also making it more thematically intriguing, I propose making it so for each survivor under the effect of the Sphere, all of Vecna's spell cooldowns EXCEPT for the Dispelling Sphere itself become 10% faster. This change would make it so it gives you more direct value which fits perfectly for a spell that you cast as a "secondary thought".

sphere disables haste item from survivor. haste item from survivor is strong for making mage hand completely useless even vs a total beginner.
I would like see sphere grant Exposed status effect for 60 seconds but I understand BVHR is too hesitate to oppressive vs casual survivors.

Exposed for 60 seconds would be way, way too much, especially considering how easy it is to hit survivors with Dispell Sphere.
Personally I think it will be strong enough.

I don't think so, he would still be beatable. i don't think it would be easy at all to hit them. that is because… when your healthy, you might as well just run away from sphere. The sphere would chase potency in the sense that survivor would "zone" themselves to hold-w with sprint burst then take exposed as running forward prologues chase. Survivor can see sphere when acquiring sphere item. Right now sphere has no chase capacity.

Hahahaha
So the same duration of ghost face exposed for the price of shooting out an orb? Come on

gf is underpowered anyway. limited kit design. some killer are destiny to low tier i guess.

I heavily disagree. I think that would be way too op. Not to mention terrible design, since survivors would just have to hold w if Vecna chooses to use his Dispell Sphere at a loop. I really doubt that's ever going to happen.
Dispell Sphere is for information and disabling items, it's good enough the way it will be.

I thought they just buffed this did they not?

They did and my post was made with the consideration of it.

right….survivors respecting the spell and playing around it is bad design… like ok. Almost like spell does something.

Ah, my apologies.

That's incredibly broken and would instantly make him S tier.

No survivors simply having to hold w to not get exposed is not good design in my opinion.
