I'm very excited to see what the community thinks and what kind of things will pop up here.
For me it would be server-side validation / useful cheat protection. I especially hate subtle cheating and constantly questioning your own sanity. In my opinion, this is long overdue.

I don't know if it would count as one thing, but capped limits to speeds would be nice. I guess technically the code behind a cap would be one thing.
Progression, regression, healing speeds, gen block timers, and anything of the sort would benefit from having a cap from synergies becoming too problematic and allow for perks to be at their peak strength themselves, or a max strength combined with something else.

I agree. Gen rep speed in particular is ridiculously high if you also use the toolbox and various perks. But other things like healing are also problematic.
Basically, II have to say that in this topic, killer perks are nowhere near as problematic here as they are with survivor.4 -
There is still no support for that on consoles? Didn't know that.
As a mouse and keyboard player, I would also like an overhaul of the controls.I think it's happened to everyone at some point: Killer chase, you wanted to do a fast vault and then disappeared into the nearby locker because the same key performs both functions.

A reminder that "If you're not having fun, consider taking a break" in the lobby screen. If even 10% of the people who saw it actually listened there would be so many fewer complaints because people would say "[other side] did [toxic behavior] to me? Guess games are gonna be bad today, might give it a rest" instead of "I'm gonna do [toxic behavior] to the [other side] in the next 20 games (against players who were not involved in my horrible experience) as revenge"

More alternate game modes. This is a drum I have been beating for years. I'm happy to see them start implementing them in any capacity at all but I'd like to see more. Also each time they implement an alternate game mode then it should permanently be available on KYF.

i'll give DRAWBACKS to iri (and styptic agent which is a purple one) addons for survivors… just like some killers have drawbacks for using those addons, the same logic should be applied for survivors too…

A button to instantly unequip all perks in your loadout.

I understand the game engine can't really support these, but since I'm dreaming anyway:
Replay feature and a gameplay timeline in the end game that shows chase lengths, health state changes, gen completions with timestamps.

Controlling the audio levels of everything that has a sound OUTSIDE of a trial (damn bloodweb for one) and lowering survivor screams when they get hooked/downed so I don't have to chronically tab out or deafen while playing just to not get deafened.
Every single game allows you to control your audio settings, I understand that it cannot be done in-game for reasons, but do we HAVE to hear the killers hit you with the same sound effects non-stop while leveling up or the sounds of the BW? No.

Hello. This is a great idea to ask of. Here are some of my suggestions! Hope you'll like reading these.
Btw I would have a bigger Input binding, so survivors and killers can devide at least actions. So one dosen't vault while picking up, or more critical, jump in a locker while trying to vault to survive.
or recover on top of the hatch instead of escaping.

After some thought, I'd love a theater mode to play back matches so killers don't have to relyon twitch streamers for replays.
Also, an ability to link your game account to the forums that would show anybody here your stats such as most played characters, perks, items used, kill percent, survive percent etc.
I only make that second suggestion because I used to be active on the CoD forums when Treyarch was using the official CoD website and they had all of this back in 2008 for the xbox 360 generatuon. Infinity Ward was too successful to care so only World at War had all this

After a killer slugs you. The survivor crawling on the ground could grab the killers leg and stall them from moving until the killer shakes them off.
Maybe the killer could stomp, kick you and cause the survivor to bleed out quicker

I'm going to pick two things because I can't choose between them:
Firstly, a better tutorial for new players. The current one is severely dated and explains very little about DBD's game play as it currently is. While it's great that Otz and others have produced some helpful guides for beginners, this really shouldn't be something that BHVR out source to some dude with a YouTube channel! It needs updating. New players are the future life blood of the game and they're currently being under served imho.
Secondly, a single player custom mode for Survivors to practice looping and map exploration. They don't need to implement AI for the entire roster, just a relatively simple Trapper bot would be sufficient. I have no idea how difficult or costly this would be to implement, especially for a bot that could play a reasonably human game. Maybe they could look to Alien Isolation for inspiration or it could simply patrol gens, set traps and chase? I don't know, I'm not a games programmer so I don't know what is and isn't possible. I'd even settle for a mode to explore maps without a Killer present. There must be something they could develop.

Skill checks being coded like Overcharge so when if you get a skillcheck, it won't explode the second you get off the generator, you still will have to complete it instead even when off of it. So no more exploding generators the moment I get off of one.

A big stats screen so i can see my win/loss rate with each killer/map and perk.
Also a replay function after the game where you can watch the game back from the perspective of all 5 players in the game.
