The toxicity in this game needs to be dealt with/punished

I'm sick of this. I play survivor with my friends trying to have a fun casual match, and we get toxic killers who slug and watch us bleed out, people who proxy camp hooks, people who tunnel one person off hook to death forcing that person to sit out for 20 minutes while we finish, people who hump our bodies, or hit us on hook because God forbid we use the mechanics of the game and drop a pallet on their heads during a chase. I report all of these people, but I'm a console player and for some stupid reason I can't add additional information to my reports so nothing EVER happens to these people. I get sick of dealing with it and play killer, and I run into p100 teabagging flashlight clicking bully squads who all run saboteur with adrenaline and Alex's toolbox, burn map, hook distance and basement offerings and sit in dead zones so it's actually impossible to hook them, then at the end of a 45 minute 0 hook game they refuse to leave and sit there teabagging until I force them out. This game isn't fun anymore. This community isn't fun to play with. I'm tired of sending report after report after report and nothing being done about this type of behavior. I'm on the verge of just flat out refusing to support anything this studio ever touches. I already quit once during the release of plague and I'm starting to question why I wasted even more money on this game buying all the licensed chapters in the last 2 months. I play for hours just to get 1 or 2 quality matches where people don't decide that their mission in life is to ruin the experience for everyone else. These games are happening EVERY. SESSION. I've gotten death threats and hate mail through psn from this community. Why. Is. This. Allowed?

I can tell you why there never happens something with the reports: not a single thing you've have mentioned is reportable. Slugging, camping, tunneling and bleedouts (to some extend) are completely intended, the hupping is probably a thing that's just hard to confirm without replay function even tho I believe they don't like this really.

They can't really do anything about messages outside of their game, you'd have to report that to playstation and see what they are doing ^^

You are 100% part of the problem I'm talking about. Why are you trying to act like this type of behavior is acceptable? Read the last line again. Read the topic line again. Stop trying to excuse and justify the actions of these people. You think I don't have a mile long list of people I've gotten banned on psn? I get messages for every person I report telling me action has been taken. I WISH I could say the same for this game.

I don't say people sending death threats are okay, I'm also not thinking people hupping you are okay.

I'm however completely okay with tunneling, camping, slugging and even normal bleedouts, I accepted them as normal gameplay to get preassure. I accept that I can't do anything against good survivors without it and I accept that I will be tunneled and camped as survivor, for me it's not a problem but just a reasson to get better at and against it.

Judge me all you want, but I'm by far not one of the problematic people you talk about. I'm just using these things to win and I don't tunnel, camp or slug specific survivors because I hate them as a person or to make them miserable but because I got the chance to do that. If I find the person that hang a few seconds ago I won't pretend I didn't see them, if I have the chance to down 3 injured survivors and end the game I will do that, if survivor let themself too much time to save I will camp to next stage (not that that's possible with 70 seconds per stage, but still), all of the things mentioned are a misplay of the survivors and I will use them just like survivors will do it with me as killer.

You should at least try to set a different to the people and why they do they things they do ^^

Why are you trying to kill the messenger?

Even if you don't like their answer, that's how things are here in DBD. None of the things you listed are bannable offenses for BHVR. Your reports are only clogging up the support line, maybe they even get removed automatically by some keyword algorithm.

Here is a link to their support page:

    https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408586353940-Invalid-report-reasons

    Regarding PSN messages:
"We do not control anything that happens outside of Dead by Daylight. This includes private Steam messages/groups/names, PS4/XBOX messages, Discord messages, Twitch/social media interactions, etc. Anything that occurs on these platforms must be reported to their respective authorities."

Sad truth is, you either deal with it or you move on, your choice. Have a nice day!

Well I was expecting an awnser like that, not everyone accepts the things how they are at the moment. Thank you for saying something to that even tho it won't make a difference probably xD

As Katsuh and Hermit already explained, the in-game actions you mentioned are not reportable offenses and if you have doubts, please refer to the game rules: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules

Regarding the threats you received in your PSN messages, you have to report that to the platform itself, as BHVR has no control over it.

Now if you encounter something that breaks the rules, keep in mind in-game reports are mandatory for every offense, but they are not the only necessary step to take for things like cheating and griefing. You would also need a clip of the match and a ticket here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/categories/6713776396180-Dead-by-Daylight
