What do you want to see in the next roadmap
as we approach the end of December the finale square of the roadmap will be added. January 14th is probably the PTB date similar to how it was last year. I hope to see skull merchant on the rework tab. Myers on Killer update . Deathslinger to be in tweaks. Perks like ultimate weapon and cruel limits to be on their too.

Daily challenges are so outdated. They need to just give us 3 survivor and 3 killer ones each day. I always seem to get Blight challenges and I've never even played Blight.

Fix Ghostface's Lean. Ghostface Reveal rework to be more fair BOTH sides. Ghostface addon pass.
Toolbox balancing. Survivor sound occlusion balanced so we don't have some super loud and some super soft. More perks both sides buffed, perks that have become too meta strong nerfed.
Remove self-unhooking unless you have certain perks for it or a Luck offering.

nurse nerf (I want her to recharge her blinks after fatigue is over like blight)
Spine chill buff (please bring back vault speed and bring back the old activation condition but reduce the range to 24 meters instead of 36
Call of brine buff (125% for 60 seconds is laughably bad. At full value it saves u an extra 4 seconds.)
Trapper buff (make most off addons basekit like how they recently did to dredge)
another big perk overhaul. (Ik they tried to do a soft meta shake up recently in the 8.3.0 patch but they nerfed the only good perks out of that update instantly.)
MAP REWORKS/NERFS (I want the maps that favor one side to be nerfed to be more balanced(goj,eyrie,badham,haddonfield,midwich,Hawkins,the game,etc)
map and key reworks to make them more appealing rather than medkits and toolboxes in every game with an occasional flashlight

More good options for killer. Some killers like current Freddy, you're just not gonna get anything vs good survivors, no matter your skill or build or whatnot. But even with the better killers, they still need perks to supplement their power, and it seems like the bar for strong killer perks just gets lower and lower each patch. Tru3 put out a video on the last week which perfectly charts what's happened, if you'll hear me/him out.
Basically, the good old killer perks like peak Pop, peak Ruin, peak Pain Res, etc, used to be the standard top killer perks. They got nerfed, and what replaced them was the weaker of the stronger level perk options, like Eruption, Surge, STBFL, different hexes, etc. Then those got nerfed too. So now the third best set of killer perks, which used to be not really used because they were considered too weak at the time, now they're the top perks. But those get complained about, they get nerfed, to where now the original set of top perks is back as the meta, not because they're strong obviously, but because they're the least weak of the better options. And so you see the cycle of how the killer meta has changed.
I'm not saying that survivor perks aren't nerfed in this same fashion sometimes, but they are fewer and far between. Guess what's still meta? DS, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Prove Thyself, Adrenaline. The killer meta hasn't changed much either, because of my above explanation, but getting hit by any one of these survivor perks can potentially lose you the whole game. Killer perks have no such impact. You're not really losing the whole match as survivor because the killer used Pop, Pain Res, or Coup once. I mean, it happens, but in that case your team caliber was just way too low, nothing to do with the killer's tools.
But we could go either way. New gen defence perks/buffs, or faster ways to down. That means buffs to killers' chase powers, or at least stop nerfing the good ones that are left. At some point, the killer's got to be able to down survivors without them having to make the first mistake, because that's wrong wrong with most killers' chase game nowadays. M1 killer at somewhere like shack? Might as well forget it, because that's a guaranteed 45+ second chase. OR the devs could innovate and create a completely new way for killer to have power, something we haven't seen yet.

Ideally I'd want to see a whole chunk of the roadmap dedicated to overhauling problem items, chests, and the Luck mechanic.
Rework to the toolbox repair speed, big updates for Maps and Keys to make them more approachable without needing specific addons every match just to make them function, more chests with better spawn logic so it doesn't mess up killer object spawn points, maybe some adjustments to Medkit tiers so they're more interesting if there's time. Luck tying into all this would be a no-brainer to make that more of a real mechanic in the game.
On top of that, continuing to buff undertuned perks sprinkled in with the other big landmark changes would be very nice, of course. They've been doing a good job of that lately, I'd like to see it continued.

I want to see map reworks to take them back to a night time horror aesthetic and I want to see slugging addressed once and for all.

Sadako rework to make her teleport good again and to be more fun for both sides. I would prefer getting her first version as foundation back and adjusting her from there.
A luck/chest update, which make luck work with chests, lets you find addons on items from chests and makes 3 more chests spawn on all maps.
Map changes to killer sided maps for once, instead of only looking at survivor maps.
Item and addon overall to make the weak ones stronger on the survivor side.
Blood web: An option to remove the pop up after every level up in the blood web and spending blood points should be 100 times faster.
Making all of the terrible, bad and niche perks better on both sides, but please not just buffs, that change nothing in the meta.

I think the hesitation to just remove self unhooking is it would involve so much connected to it that would need to change too.

Map changes that fix the nerfs where they went way too far. If killers are going to be strong then maps should be designed around that. Maps like Haddonfield can't exist in a game that keeps releasing oppressive killers like Dracula or the new Singularity. Nevermind killers like Blight, Hillbilly, etc.

Changes to Offerings, Luck, self unhooking, hatch, and slugging. Buffing low usage perks. Shareable items and offerings at least on the survivor side since they all play the same. More prestige awards past P9. Offline mode. Player vs bots in ranked. Removing perk tiers, there's 276 for both sides.

something done about the slugging for 4k, the slugging bleedouts, the killers humping you on the ground, bloodweb that auto buys the best stuff, a volume slider for bloodweb, being able to see fellow survivor perks in game, luck improvements, survivors killing themselves on hooks, key and map reworks/buffs. more perk improvements, brightness slider.

For the game:
- Reworking or removing Map offerings to make the game overall more healthy. They can also rework every offering because there are so many of them and most of them are just useless (e.g. would be nice to have offerings that give us extra Rift fragment points or XPs).
- Improving sounds by making all survivors equally loud (grunts of pain, breathing, hitting sounds ect.), sounds on maps better (e.g. sometimes sounds just disapear on Ormond while mainroom on larrys is way too loud), and make sound notifications better
- Filters - nothing special but just the option to increase or decrease the brightness
- Reworking Eyrie, Badham, Crotus Prenn Aylum, Haddonfield, and Swamps
- Solution for the 2v1 situation on both sides (maybe with a hatch rework too)
- SoloQ improvments like quick message wheel, see teammates perks in lobby
- Faster way to spend BPs
- Daily Ritual updates
Killers:
- Tweaks with some QoL changes for Artist, Spirit, Wraith, Pig, Deathslinger, Unknown (all deserve some little tweaks to make them smoother and some of their addons should get a rework).
- Killer Update for Pyramid Head Nemesis by reworking their addons. Legion, Ghostface, Onryo, and Trapper to make them better
Survivors
- Reworking Toolboxes, Keys, Medkit addons
- New items
Otherwise, buffing, nerfing, and reworking perks

we need a lot of survivor buffs. game is killer sided af!
- no aura reading perks for killers (make hiding fun again)
- gens back to 80 secs
- show gens to survivors and hide gens to killers at all time
- no mory for the last surv
- add unbreakable to surv base kit
and maybe introduce a balancing similar to 2vs8 mode (speedup gen progression speed if survs are losing or someone killed itself on hook).

Besides the obvious killers that need major buffs like pig legion etc…
I'd really really like and equalization of gen speeds across the board
So basically the removal of gen speed perks and items
Gen regression is already pitiful in modern DBD and survivors have a lot of base kit hand hold stuff now
So as a killer main i'd just like gen speeds to be consistent and not anywhere from like 20-90 seconds and everywhere in between

if you have difficulties to 4k with any killer in this game, you have a skill issue. Even against an SWF it's no issue at all! This game needs massive balancing. and I forgot some things:
- rework tiles (less filler pallets and more useful chase spots)
- rework maps overall (for example: undo the changes to the haddonfield map)

As much as I agree that I'd also like to see the finisher mori reverted, I don't think I agree about any killer always being able to pull a 4k.
Admittdly, I win more matches than I lose as killer, which is intended. But with certain map layouts, a full team of survivors who are all good loopers, splitting up on gens, bringing Commodius with add-ons, it can be pretty challenging for m1 killers to pull a 4k.
I main Pig, and if the map layout doesn't let me approach gens with good line of sight blocking, matches can get pretty hard against whole teams who play well and are very good at chase. If I do have line-of-sight blocking, I only have to get a survivor to make one mistake :)
But a talented Nurse should almost never struggle. For her, even RPD should be winnable most of the time. I still mess up sometimes blinking to upper/lower levels, and that's definitely a skill issue for me. But I think at very high MMR, wins for mainly m1 killers aren't guaranteed all the time even if the killer player is very talented. I suspect others will mostly agree?
*Though I'll also say this isn't a justification for tunneling or other bm.

- Skull Merchant and Freddy reworks early next year as promised, not pushed back indefinitely again.
- Rewards for good sportsmanship/upvotes.
- Executioner and Slinger addon pass.
- Legion buffed up a bit.
- Keys and maps reworked.
- Self unhooks/suiciding removed.
- GoJ reworked.
- Badham reworked.
- Swamp reworked.
- Basekit unbreakable if only 1 survivor is left up.
- Afk crows accrue quicker and aren't lost until you are hooked. Repeatedly picking up items and other methods of avoiding crows fixed.
- Bloodweb speed increased.
Hahaha no. Good SWFs roll killers all day every day. Hell I think our win rate is around 60% and we aren't that good.
Go watch some high level survivor players, like Hens and Ayrun.

Commodious Toolbox nerf should be a priority, remove 4% self unhook basekit and tie it too luck and buff luck overall. Many perks and killer add ons still need balancing/reworks and maps are by and large still awful.

Sort out some of the awful maps. Forgotten Ruins the first that comes to mind of many.
I get they tried something different with that map and that's a good thing, but it needs something doing to it. Killer has no reason to ever leave the top level and even if they do, the portal they come out of often spawns a gen 2 metres from it. I've genuinely only ever escaped from that map twice, and the second time was a pre nerf TOTH build Pinhead that didn't lose a gen and let me out because I dropped him my item. Whenever I load into that map as survivor, I know it's pretty much an automatic loss.

Survivor items and inventory changes = since survivors are pretty much cosmetics I feel just making the inventory be golbal to all purchased survivor should be a thing, I hate getting a use this x character daily and have no items to use on said character cause I dont use them.
Keys and key add ons updates= removal of green keys because just why not? Keys overall is such very niche item and I they just seem pointless idk what to suggest on them
Maps= Same situation as keys yet their slight niche is good for finding painful totems. Remove green map and let pink become brown or yellow.
Medkits= they do the same thing may as well just keep the brown ones and put the purple heal speed on it and remove the others, I do not use em anyways cause Franklin's makes them a waste. Add ons could use some changes or tune up
Flashlights add ons = most of these add ons does the same thing but just different number values, merging some of them and reduce rarity sounds good to me, I dont use them anyways cause flashbang is superior and again Franklin's is just meh.
Tool Box and add ons= Just get rid of all of them cept alex and commodo one and make alex be rare instead of very rare. Every other tool box is not worth taking.
BP offerings= for both sides just make pudding and cake brown and retire the other junk. This makes it be that both side can level their favorite killer and survivors abit easier and makes it more feel welcoming to new players.
Dailies= Please give us a choice to select if we want survivor or killer ones cause for real you cant and shouldn't force people to play what they do not want.

besides the obvious stuff like insta gens and actually insts heals infinites etc…
survivor is the easiest it's ever been
i say hand hold because thats what a lot of the updates are
you could counter all of the things like campingg and tunneling and 3 gens etc before the changes
but survivors for the most part couldn't because of a skill issue
so now the game holds thier hand and forces the counterplay without the survivors doing anything

Map reworks for Haddonfield and The Game, Knock Out being reworked into a completely different perk, end game changes to avoid the whole slugging for the 4k thing, some more anti tunneling measures (maybe even a buff for base kit BT), incentives to hook instead of slugging from the start and a Chucky rework.
I really liked Chucky when he came out but when they removed flicks I lost all interest in playing him. By now I feel like they kind of maneuvered themselves into a dead end with him. Either he can spam his power and make up for all the things that he can't do with it that way or he has a longer cooldown and becomes pretty mediocre, if not somewhat underwhelming.

Knockout isn't healthy, change or get rid of it.
Ghostface buffs and some addons looked at, he still needs it. Trapper buffs would be nice. Undo some of the unneeded extra Chucky nerfs and rework Skurchent.
Anti-stall mechanic for two Survivors hiding and crouching around dropping items at the end, that should never be a thing. You shouldn't be able to pick up and drop an item to hide as one of the last two people in a SWF together to force the Killer to stay in the round; let everyone just move on and stop wasting time being petty.
On Survivor side, anti-slugging mechanic. Please, it's not fair and it's overkill. And more incentive to hook, slugging is boring for everyone. I hate doing it, I hate having to do it, I hate being it. There's never any need for anyone to slug people and leave them to bleed for four minutes, or to slug anyone at 5 gens. That legitimately shouldn't even be possible unless your Survivors are really, really bad.
Rework some maps, we still have too many maps that are one-sided either for Killer or Survivor. Maps should never be sided.

Actually a good idea, forgot about this. The Commodious and Commodious-like toolboxes are a bit too powerful for how easy they are to get. Maybe we shouldn't have the ability to stack a toolbox with so many charges that goes 50% faster, and also a bunch of gen perks, especially because Killers got their ability to do so nerfed. It's really only fair.

the aim-down sights-movement speed ones.
They’re boring and aren’t significant enough. Never would I pick them but to see their uselessness.
The Nightmare COMPLETE REWORK. Playing him is the opposite of fun. His Power is so weak it feels like you’re not doing anything(which you basically aren’t).
