I think it means if they're close to each other rather than removing the mechanic entirely, so if it's within striking distance of a survivor when it's approaching a window, the guards will now prioritize hitting the survivor rather than reaching the window first.

So one of our only counter plays against Knight's guards was a bug, not a feature? If you're going to fix this, at least fix his banners so they actually work consistently when you run through them.

The "window fake" feature is still there.

Thank you for clarifying Mandy. The wording in the patch notes makes it sound like it was removed entirely and they'd instead just keep pathing toward the Survivor.

Yeah I saw Alby doing this, inside a T&L, touching off both windows back and forth and him and the guard were literally running past each other (elbows touching!), with the guard ignoring him.

I'm guessing this is what was changed, so in that scenario when he turns to run past the guard he would now cop a hit instead

The banners work fine, you need to wait until you hear the "horn" sound, that means you can touch the banner. You can't touch it before that or it won't do anything. That is intentional in the design.
