Bug Reporting: Closed / Declined "When reporting an issue, please follow the given template"

I find it sad that many bug reports are closed and declined with the reason "When reporting an issue, please follow the given template, attaching clips and/or logs (where possible)."
Many of these closed bug reports contain valid bug information, while using the predefined template adds most of the time absolutely no value to the bug report.
It leaves the feeling that the person processing the bug reports has no idea about the game and simply follows a flowchart. This only undermines the players' willingness to write bug reports. This is a lose-lose situation for everyone.

The bug report template contains all the information that we need for a bug report, to allow QA to find steps to repro the bug whilst also allowing us the ability to see if it's platform specific, how many players it affects etc - whilst I appreciate your sentiment, we only ask for what is needed from players.

Speaking of the bug reporting, Would it be possible to get a better system to search for already reported bugs?
Like its not possible to search specific Killers, Cosmetic, or Map issues. It seems its all dumped into one thread and the message above is:
Okay, but I don't know what other players have called it, you are basically asking me to spend i dont know how long, reading threads or trying search words to see if anyone have said this before, Worst of all, the search function looks at ALL THREADS in ALL SUB FORUMS.
I don't think its good enough, and I think people's good faith to reporting an issue runs out real fast when the service provided for figuring it out is so not good enough.

I think the mod that closes the report due to it being a duplicate should attach a link to the bug report post they want people to use, that way the person can go add their experience/information there.

Unfortunately creating a whole new system is out of our control there, as we have to work within the forum software, I also think many people do not use the search feature correctly, as you can just limit that to bug reports so searching via that.

Ideally that should happen, it's just that sometimes there's not enough time to be able to do that effectively - the forum mods who check for duplicates etc are also moderating the forums and that takes up an awful lot of time itself.

I understand the technological limitations, but I think you OUGHT to be in control of these variables, because your control of these variables could improve our current situation and that may have bigger impact further up the pipeline.
I'm in the minority cause im technically savy, most days after I got a soda, but most people are not in the mood to deal with the search settings, so I imagine most don't. Most of the time we need to report something, its actively happening in our play session time. So it has to be able to be done fast too.
I think within the means we have here the job is fairly well done, but I have also been here long enough to see how limited we are here and I think it might be worthwhile for the Community manager Team to spearhead some forum changes to make their job and user's experience, a whole lot lighter and easier.
Just thinking out loud here… If you can Sort by Hot, Top, New, I would think there could exist other ways to sort?
Wait… this looks familiar.. BHVR have to be using Vanilla right?
idk if you guys have the addon 'tags' in your plan, but I think it might be a solution there, or it might be additional work. In order to control it, you probably need to start out small with which users can be a tagger. But idk if there is anything to lose if you make sure you can roll back the changes.
Gosh Darn it, you made me learn about Forum Software on a Saturday Night. JOY!

But you literally don't ask for what's needed. Going through the declined bugs section there are so many bugs where the video is simply an alternative way to showcase what's being written, but it's definitely not needed.
