New game mode

Hey everyone!

I’ve been playing Dead by Daylight for almost 7 years now, and I still absolutely love the game. Of course, it can sometimes be frustrating and emotionally draining — but that’s part of the charm, right?

I’d like to suggest a new game mode that I think isn’t too wild and would be welcomed by a large part of the community: Spectator Mode.

In this mode, players could watch live matches and even earn Bloodpoints and Iridescent Shards while doing so. The core idea is to feature a Top 100 leaderboard for both Survivors and Killers in each region, based on MMR. When entering Spectator Mode, you’d be able to browse a list of ongoing matches — organized by MMR — and see only the map and the player names before choosing one to watch.

Once in the match, you'd just spectate — no perks or items would be visible. But here’s where it gets more interactive:

• Betting System: You could use Auric Cells to bet on the outcome of the match (e.g., how many survivors escape, who gets the most hooks, etc.).
• Perk Prediction: Even if you don't want to bet, you could try to guess the perks each Survivor and the Killer are using. Depending on how accurate your predictions are, you’d receive Bloodpoints or even Shards as a reward.

It adds an extra layer of engagement, learning, and fun — especially for players who want to improve or just enjoy the high-level gameplay of top-ranked players.

Hopefully, the devs take a look at this idea. I’m not overly optimistic, but it would be amazing to see it in the game someday!
