Yes I know feeling when survivor tbag you at exit gate, but you can just afk in corner or something IF you cannot beat them unless you running end game perk like noed and bloodwarden

The ratios here are telling.
It's unacceptable in 2025 to have aspects of a game where another player, either side, is forced to watch you humiliate them and can do little about it. We added an Abandon feature for Survivors to remove the pain of a 4 man bleed out while the Killer shuffles over each one. Being told to "just push them out" or ignore it while Survivors sit in the gates wasting time teabagging or noise spamming in the hopes you'll come give them an ego boost by watching them leave needs to have the same consideration. NOBODY likes being made to helplessly watch as people act like sore winners.A little bag or two after a stun is one thing. A silly bag or occasional single twirl as you down someone is one thing. Being made to watch as someone humptechs you on the ground or sits just at the edge of the gate as a Killer that 100% can't do anything about it is another. It's griefing and it's foul.

The abandon feature doesn't prevent you getting humped on the ground for 4 minutes if there's even one survivor standing.
While I don't think toxicity has a place, you have agency and options as the killer while the 2 minute timer ticks. It is possible to force survivors to make a mistake and get a kill, let alone blood warden, which is a literal win condition that requires exit gates to be open.
And the reason people say to "hit them out" is because does exactly what you want: it stops the behavior, and they have to leave. I get that it doesn't make it less frustrating sometimes, but the option you're demanding here already exists.
And it's an option, because you can hit them out, you can go get BP around the map and take solace in knowing they're literally just wasting their own time, or you can go grab a drink.
The big thing people don't seem to want to acknowledge is that "go grab a drink" is the only option for a slug, for 4 minutes. Abandon is great if the conditions are met, but it's not hard to slug for the 4k to bypass it. You don't get to ignore it or earn BP, and you can't "force an error" to somehow escape from that situation.
These two scenarios are not equivalent, the only common point is BM, and there's no real solution to that. At least not a solution that the devs can implement. It's 100% a player mentality issue on both sides of the problem. And sometimes that will require you to step away from the game for a bit of its too frustrating (although, expecting a mature response is exactly the player mentality in taking about here).

idk why not as long as it replaces you with a bot when you leave match.
Just replace killers with the trapper bot when they dc or abandon.

When they open the gates, the game is almost over anyway.
If this would count as a loss (which it should and so should abandoning when everyone is downed as survivor), I'd be ok with this.

But what if the killer player doesn't want to do all that? What if they just want to press a button and be done with it, like survivors can do?
And I suppose this means you support survivors trying to do gens and escape when they're the ones in a losing match, instead of just hiding/abandoning?

It is still a double standard to say "Survivors may quit when the Killer is a Sore Winner but Killers can't quit when Survivors are sore winners."
And frankly that's what this boils down to. You either agree toxicity and griefing needs to go, or you're for toxic griefing. I don't care if the player "has options", they shouldn't have to put up with it to start with.25 -

You do have the power to force start the endgame timer, but I do agree that there should be an abandon option since too many survivors do stay at the gate. The only time I find that appropriate is when the killer was playing scummy but even then I won't hang around if it's deathslinger

I already said this, but it warrants repeating: it can't be a double standard because they aren't equivalent.
I have personally had games where I forced the lingering survivors to make mistakes and gotten additional kills in this exact scenario. I was able to punish this bad behavior, with the base kit tools. I'm not implying that's common, but it's certainly a possible outcome (and some killers excel at this).
That option is simply not available in any capacity for a slugged survivor. The killer is not forced to interact with the survivors in your scenario, where the survivor has no choice but to be humped for 4 minutes and cannot get away without that feature.
I'm sorry, but at some point you need the bigger person and know when to walk away or simply ignore the trolls. The devs cannot be expected to give additional mechanics to overcome that.

Which is literally the exact issue we have right now but for survivor. As survivor I've yet to see even a single match to its conclusion that we lost.

I fully support that. Once egc starts, the abandon option should become available.

I think I mentioned this before, but with regards to the survivor issue I’d go with like a 30-second timer before the option becomes available, that starts when the final survivor goes down.
That way, extended slugging is not possible, whilst also not allowing the loser to just skip the conclusion.

Abandon Feature exists to prevent hostage situations such as killers bleeding everyone out or survivors not doing gens.
EGC is not a hostage situation by virtue of still being able to hit, hook, or kill survivors.
You also have the agency to push them out or farm blood points elsewhere.
If we're going to add Abandon options just because something feels bad then they should let you Abandon If you get hit on hook or a gen gets popped in your face.

The instant the final survivor hits the ground, is not a hostage situation either, yet here we are. If they had to wait at least like 30 seconds or something then I'd agree. How the abandon feature is currently used though is just to "go next" faster, in 99% of scenarios, not for hostage situations, even though that's what it "should" be. The system as it is now needs to be much stricter in when it allows abandonment, not just to be used as a time saving convenience.

If they put in the effort they could make exceptions if someone has slug perks but it's probably far easier to code in it's current iteration.
Yes it means people never watch moris or abandon during a four-slug. But why does it matter? The killer won already. Also, with a thirty second timer. The killer could just force a wiggle off and continue to do so until the bleedout timer ends.
I am also aware similar reasoning can apply to the OP's idea but I feel it's a dangerous route to tread.

For one, EGC is half the timer as being bled out.
For two, EGC only lasts for if you let it as a killer.
Until the abandon feature, survivors were forced to wait out the entire bleed timer.

What can killers do if the survivors are purposely hiding somewhere random on the map, and are purposely waiting until the EGC is almost over before going to the exit gates?
Are killers expected to be able to reliably find survivors that could be hiding anywhere on the map?

The Abandon feature is only an option if all survivors are dead or dying, in which case the game has concluded. All that's left to be done is for the killer to obtain the last of their bp and emblem points, which they're able to do whether the survivors have abandoned or not.

That's not entirely true.
The abandon feature becomes available to Victims when all are simultaneously downed, but it doesn't take into account perks that let you get back up.I have seen other Victims get up, despite two of them having already DC'ed from abandon, and I myself can attest to using Unbreakable to get up, after all my other three Victims were downed or hooked.
The abandon feature should perhaps take this into account, and not become available before there is absolutely no avenue for escape, aka Unbreakable has been used, No Mither isn't available, there's no Boon: Exponential.

The difference is that i don't want to sit and watch a bunch of people be toxic, teabag me at the gates and then insult me in the endgame chat while you all do nothing about it.
The fact that you admit here that its "fine" if survivors get to be toxic, but when killers do it its a problem we need to make game mechanics around dealing with is really telling.
The fact that you say this, and then your "abandon" system considers the game a draw everytime for survivors, but the one time a killer would want to do it is considered a loss just shows how survivor biased BHVR is in their decision making..

Or if they're just too good at looping, or there's too many broken loops left, to where the killer can't possibly get them? The killer's just their entertainment, their plaything at that point, whose time is getting wasted while the survivors show off and be toxic. I say either let them abandon the match as OP says, or let them open the exits themselves at any point. All of the survivor abandon conditions and lax DC penalties are for their convenience, more than anything. Why should killers be denied the same?

If you're able to be looped you're actively playing the game and there's no reason for abandon to be at play.
A four-slug is not the same at all. And like I said earlier, if we are going to add Abandon clauses for anything that feels bad where does it end?
Even if you somehow lose all four survivors at the end of the match, you are still able to look and search for them, and it is reliable because towards the end they will funnel to the only two spots they can escape from.
It isn't guaranteed but it's a significant enough of a chance to where Abandoning is not warranted.

Mandy’s argument was “the killer can do a lot to force survivors out of the match”, which just isn’t true if the survivors are purposely hiding in random parts of the map, to force the killer to wait the entire EGC.
Patrolling THE ENTIRE MAP is not “can do a lot”, because it’s not reliable at all. What often happens is the killer spends the entire ECG failing to find any survivors, then the survivors escape right at the end of the ECG, at which point the killer failed to force the survivors out of the match.

Unbreakable works once, and exponential can't be applied to a totem while you're downed (but it can be snuffed).
Which is also a meaningless distraction from the core point of this discussion, which is that, base kit there is no way for survivors to get themselves up from dying.
And the options for killer, being force them out, go get BP, or just ignore them, are all base kit features.

I don't speak for them. But it is true that you can do a lot.
I just dont think it's true a killer will consistently lose all four survivors and spend the entire EGC searching for them without finding any of them.
This sounds like a very niche situation that already has a remedy being that the EGC timer is faster when all four survivors are standing. And just because it can happen does not render the myriad of other situations where the killer is in control of how long the EGC will last invalid.

Unless the killer finds all 4 survivors, and forces all 4 survivors out of the match, then the killer failed to force all the survivors out of the match, and therefore failed to make the ECG end quicker.

its not meaningless since a single unbreakable can turn a game around and if the killer is willingly going for the 4 slug a single person can just turn it around. even more so if 1 or 2 people bring boon exponential since the slugged aren't locked in place and can just move to the boon since they have 4 minutes.

If there is an open hatch or open exit gate, then a slugged survivor still has a basekit way to escape the trial.

Just bring unbreakable, exponential, DS, OTR, and an exhaustion perk every game, in case the killer does anything even remotely meta and base kit for them. Got it.
Not to mention crawling to the boon, which screams at the killer, also tells them where your teammates are.
Which is all irrelevant, again, because if teammates are up survivors can't abandon the match with the feature in the first place…
At this point, you're not only missing nuance, as well as clear differences, but just trying to instigate an unnecessary "us vs them" with your "git gud" comment.

also you can run ds unbreakable exhaustion some fourth perk people don't need to bring the meta i bring a full boon build personally
survivors personally shouldn't be able to abandon a match just like a killer isn't able to but with how it's implemented now survivors end in a draw no matter what and killers end in a loss if they abandon (but this isn't the point)
the point is this is a survivor refusing to adapt issue
