The Anniversaries and people that love to collect cakes

So i have been playing this game a long time. watching all the changes as the yearly anniversary started back in year 3. to this day, i have a single year 3 cake (on wraith, for some reason) that i hold on to for the memories.

that was back when Prestiging still deleted all your items.

i had a few year 3 cakes that have gone away because of the older system, and thats not even bringing up that year 3 cakes were actually rare to get. you only got 1 every 3-5 bloodwebs back then

and thats where this idea started.


so you have an anniversary. you add mystery boxes back. and they give you anniversary items….but what if they didnt?

what if instead of mystery boxes, they were cake boxes? (ya know. like from cake stores)

and what if they gave you a random chance of giving you ANY of the older anniversary cakes? from year 3 to the last year (in this case, 8) as a way to always get something worth while, and also add to the newer players that might not have seen an older cake offering.

to have your current year cakes, and eat your older cakes too. and it can be fun to add older cakes to newer survivors. or even just to have a collection of cakes for all survivors (considering how much you need to grind with a standard 9-to-5)


id be curious to see what anyone thinks (especially the devs) cause i feel something like this could be fun as an anniversary event. all the cakes? all caked up? cakes. we like cakes
