Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Survivor wiggling time

If you have no teammates to aid you when you get carried, you basically are guaranteed to not be able to wiggle out. I literally have max boil over and it has worked for me probably once. It came to my attention that the amount of time it takes to wiggle is atrocious after last round when I was grabbed by the Wesker, my teammate bodyblocked, Wesker got stuck probably four times, and he fell from a large height, I was hitting every skill check, and he still managed to hook me. Happened twice that game, with the second one killing me.

Then what is the point of perks like boil over, power struggle, or flip flop? Were you told this or did you just analyze it and come up with this? This game is extremely killer sided and the fact that even with all these perks which are meant to allow you to escape the killer's grasp, it is still nearly impossible. I never said its meant to be a "get out of killers grasp free card", but I think if you've spent a decent amount of time wiggling you should be able to get out of their grasp considering it takes 16 whole seconds.

I'm not the person you were asking, but here are some screen caps from devs about wiggling:

You can see they mention there are perks that can help, perks that can make it harder for the killer, but it's still never meant to be guaranteed. Killers also have perks to help them carry survivors to a hook, like Iron Grasp, Agitation, and Mad Grit. In general, any time BHVR buffs wiggling too much, killers resort to slugging a lot and then everyone is miserable. It's better to err on the side of killers reaching hooks rather than not reaching hooks.

"the game is extremely killer sided" said by who? backed up by what data? The "core" of the game is 1v4 wich means that 1 wil need to always be stronger then the 4. And by the looks of things BHVR is going to implement allot of changes to aid in making the game more "balanced" to both sides. Like the person above said the wiggle system is meant to force killers to make a choice try and get to that scourge hook or risk them getting off for example perks like boil over can help with this choice even if not by data it puts a choice in the killers head simply with what might happen. Power struggle and flip flop are more "situational" perks where power struggle might get you out of the killers grasp if theyre "lazy" and take the short route through a pallet. And flip flop can force that you either walk down the stairs normally or risk me gaining a massive amount of wiggle bar if you take the short route. Even if the perks themselves dont do much do not underestemate the mental aspect of them.

those are the perks that assist in sabo strats, you actually need to have a team for them to work yk? Also, you need to know where and how to position.

Wait so my perks in this team based game arent going to give me a soloq player a clear and straight up advantage without downside? How outragious! (This is a joke btw)

if it guaranteed you to get off every time everyone would run it an killers would never get a hook every single game
