Update Dead Hard
While I understand Dead Hard is a strong perk, it takes incredible skill and the 0.5 sec window is heavily affected by ping issues. In order to alleviate some of the frustration surrounding that, I recommend that the Exhausted status not affect survivors that miss their Dead Hard.
New players have enough difficulty getting into this game, anything BHVR can do to alleviate frustrations in this game should be considered.

I'm a scrub so I use Lithe. Just don't stick to gens like your life depends on it.

this would just be dumb… Often times you hit your dead hard right before a pallet or window so if the killer swings and misses you get a free lithe proc?? Dumb idea

Were there no exhaustion after pressing E, you could just spam it.

It would still get disabled after 1 use, but survivors would be able to use it with other exhaustion perks, which I think would be kinda busted…
I still consider that to be very strong perk and easy to use against many killers. I like to use it with Iron Will…2 -

I personally think dead hard is currently a fun troll perk, currently the worst exhaustion perk in the game and there are much better perks that do a similar job, such as blood rush.
Definetly not best, but definetly not worst. Smash hit is still a thing…
Its only strengh is that it became so bad that such few players actually play it now and when they do it can surprise you.
I like it, it's kinda satisfying to use and very good synergy with Iron Will, which is big deal for Jeff main :D

10% on nightlight is quite a lot… 6th most used perk, sure not most precise tracking, but still quite accurate

Dead hard indeed doesnt need any buffs. It's still perk that shouldnt exist in first place and it's laughable that it's not deactivated in the EGC, when you can use it ridiculous two times per game, meaning killer loses 2 hooks, and that only one survivor, 4 of them might have it.

Literally the only thing that needs changed about Dead Hard is the server-side hit validation. I'm tired of getting downed mid-animation because the Killer has the McDonald's Wi-Fi brand Coup.

A single successful deadhard happening halfway through the match can kill so much M1 killer pressure that they lose.

Yeah agreed, but how do you fix that exactly? And, everyone complaining that the perk is too strong clearly don't run the perk and don't understand how ping issues affect the use of the perk, like you'll get the animation and still go down.

You're describing what would happen if you didn't even have Dead Hard, if they swing and miss what's stopping you from using Lithe anyway? Why don't you think before you comment. My biggest concern is the ping issue affecting that 0.5 sec window, and I thought removing exhaustion if Dead Hard misses could be a solution. That way, it's like you didn't have Dead Hard to begin with.
