Bring back map offerings PLEASE
Please bring back map offerings! I am tired of playing on Haddonfield with 5 pallets. i used to bring different map offerings to make the game more varied and dont go to killer sided map alll the time. If someone doesnt want to go to a specific map you can always bring sacrificial ward ! Now map offerings are useless but we all have spent millions bp on it.
Moreover if the killer decided to bring a map offering it makes the game funnier and more interesting. When mirror myers shows up on midwitch- the game REALLY becomes scary and i love it. Its a challenge for everyone. If you made it- you become more experienced gamer. I play with giving up scratched mirror myers on ormond and autohaven all the time these days.
The same with hag who uses bodyblocking addons on indoor maps. As a survivor main i understand it and accept this challlenge. People want to have fun.
The pig bringing gideon is lore accurate and it immerses us in the atmosphere of the game.
the other reason to bring map offerings is to explore map, remember spawn, main. when i started playing dbd i used to do it and it gave so much experience.
Now i dont feel like we have an opportunity to influence the game, to be closer with it. Now i dont experience the "who's map is gonna win" if there are many map offerings. Or "is it a stealth man?" when i see killer brought an offering. it's boring and random.

I feel like the issue with Haddonfield is, well, the map itself.
It's really easy to win on as killer.

The huge majority of the time map offerings were used was to go to a map your side has an advantage on. Nerfing them was good.

I have the opposite experience, I regularly escape as survivor and get more 0k than 4k as killer.

By "fun" matches you mean Doctor+The Game and Coulrophobia making healing nearly impossible?
By "fun" matches you mean a swf with overpowered items in Badham?
If you want to memorize aspects of the maps, you have custom matches to do so. Map offerings were nerfed for a reason. Haddonfield being the state that it is, is just sad and it shows how Behaviour tends to overnerf things to the ground for no reason and the map should get reworked asap.

Map offerings should do different things between survivors and killers. Killers should be able to select a map offering to help out with niche builds, while survivors should be able to use offerings to block maps from appearing.
But that also requires Behavior to do something about these maps that are insanely unbalanced for one side or the other like Haddonfield and Autohaven.

I wouldn’t mind a middle ground with the offering odds being increased to like 33-50%. It definitely shouldn’t be 100% though.
Itis kind of silly though that their rarity wasn’t lowered considering how much they were nerfed0
