Returning player Experience - TL;DR not good....

After coming back to the game after watching some gameplay videos of the new killers I decided to play some games and see how things went…. not great, I had some fun chasing survivors with Onryo, Chucky, and the cool door mechanic from Springtrap. Next, I tried my old main, Michael Myers….. the new way he is played is nice it was a cool update with the new lunge mechanic but then I started to run into team after team that were there specifically to bully the Killer with flashlight spam, firecrackers, a exponential boon that just gives them "extra lives"/free hits. ON TOP of super speed from things like Lithe, and as a player with only 200 hours this meant constantly being unable to catch survivors because if you break a pallet you get blinded, damage a gen you get blinded, pick up a survivor without looking at a wall… you guessed it Blinded…., And that is if you can catch them in the first place, its fine if people want to call it a skill issue, just remember this is how you turn players AWAY from the game. where is the equity?

The equity? Sounds to me that you had quite equal experience. You won some and you lost some. Still as you said you need to play more to learn how to play against these tactics.

I love teams like this, they are so easy to get to waste the game cause they starve for attention.
You CAN avoid flashlights, flashbangs and you can snuff out the boons, but honestly its not easy and MMR will do this to you. If you win and win, eventually it will give you players who are way better.

I will give you that MMR Ranks currently are not very accurate and BHVR has said they need to work on it.
You can easily feed on noobs for hours and charge up for you MMR until you break up into MMR Hell.

Once BHVR fixes that, what else can there really be done about this?

1 thing to note is if you were playing 1v4 during 2v8, the casual players flock to 2v8 while the hardcore swat teams and bully squads stay in 1v4 to bring as many advantages as they can to win. I once tried to play one of my mains during the last 2v8 iteration - in 1v4 because dracula wasnt in the 2v8 at the time. Just trying to do the dailies. I ended up with a swat team with 3 legacy skin survivors that were all so hard to catch that 4 generators went off by the time i downed 1, and then i got hit with 2 flashbangs, a flashlight and then a locker and another flashbang - just for trying to pick them up lol.

So i don't recommend playing killer in 1v4 during 2v8 season.
