Gen Progression Stacking is A Problem

You have TTV in your username, do you have a vod or video of this match?

To begin with, there's no need to even ask for a video. I'm not entirely sure of their English names, but if you combine perks like Stake Out and Hyperfocus, it takes less than 40 seconds to go from 0% to 100%

Gen Regression Stacking is A Problem too2

Literally how, Killer can only do it eight times…
I'm so sick of people pretending like the options killers have to slow down the game are just as good as the options survivor has to speed up the game. Fast Track punishes you for playing the way BHVR wants you to FFS. Like genuinely eruption, Surge and Pain res, Have all gotten undone way faster than it took me to try to get value outta them for the most part. Like yeah corrupt is a thing but, most decent survivors will come to you and do the close gens anyways or, will wait it out making the perk useless anyways. Also when you run the on gen regression related hex perk gets found and cleansed immediately so there's that. And yet boons can be placed infinitely. The "Power role" people behold. We have 40 characters in our roster and only 3 can keep up but the gamestate is perfectly fine and balanced.

I'm not allowed to play offline? You know what just for you I''ll start recording/streaming every session lmao.
-5 -
Still, a video would help more than another baseless complain by you. You dont even specify how many people were on that Gen. They might have stacked up with 3 people.

1 person and someone came up during chase and finished it. I'm just confused as to why you'd want video when A. You've probably seen it happen in game and B. You've probably done something similar in game. Like it's becoming rarer to reach endgame in over 4 minutes even when I'm sweating my ass off so there's that.
-1 -
No, I dont really see that in game. I also dont really see games becoming shorter than 4 minutes on a regular basis. Regardless which side I play.
If it happens more often to you, I think this is a You-Problem. And no offense, I have watched some of your content and I have to ask - do you REALLY think you cannot do better? Do you really think it is Perks or the game being unfair?
2 -
I never said I couldn't improve on both killer and survivor. I'm just saying 3 - 4 gen popping before 1st chase is finished is a little ridiculous and also healthstates literally not mattering is a little ridiculous. My best killer by far is artist and have had good matches as her but, I don't stream playing her often because the loop tends to be kinda boring. Hell I haven't streamed in 3 months at this point so my content doesn't reflect my current skill level on either role anyways. Imagine insulting someone for wanting to comeback better and assuming what they see in game isn't real. This community man….

No, this was not meant as an insult. But it is sadly a fact that in DBD players think they are way better than they actually are. If you lose 3-4 Gens in the 1st chase, this means that you take way too long to down people which means that you either are overcommitting too much instead of trying to find a weaker Survivor or that you get looped way too much. And to be honest, with current map design, it should not be possible for Survivors to run Killers around for 3-4 Gens unless the Killer is doing some huge mistakes. Because the maps feature so many unsafe Loops which should be very in favor of the Killer once Bloodlust is reached.
And since you dont show any videos, I can only compare your performance to mine. And it really never happens to me that I lose 3-4 Gens in one chase unless I am completely messing up. But when this happens, this is entirely on me being too stubborn instead of the game being at fault.
2 -
It's only a skill issue when survivor lose. When killers lose, it's the games fault.
2 -
Never said that lmao. In what realm is 40 second gens and 4 second heals healthy?
-2 -
I wasn't talking to you, but pretty much all you've done is cry about how hard killers have it, or how much survivors complain about this or that it, so it kind tracks. Ironic you have a post about people not being as good as they think they are (of course, almost solely aimed at survivors) yet can't take your own advice.
But in what realm is 4 slowdown healthy? I'd change that if I could too.
1 -
It's not the same once a gen is done it can't be undone. Like you can buy time but when gens are done they're done. Also judging by the amount of WoO i see in comparison to lethal pursuer for example you can make your judgment there. Also most realms are stuffed full of pallets rn lmao. If you main sadako or pig like i do the game doesn't feel great to play atm. Not to mention the amount of flashlight and sabo squads that I'm encountering in bloodmoon so far lol. Like honestly if "power role." Why all these frustrating and annoying things that interrupt your goals aside from being able to make health states not matter and make gens fly by.
-2 -
Hell of a double standard. Rules for thee but not for me. You can regress a gen back to zero just by kicking it and keeping people too busy to touch it, completely negating any work done with perks or toolboxes.
Neither Lethal nor WoO are the training wheel perks you imply they are. I don't use WoO but it's not just about knowing layouts, it let's you know what resources your team has already used. With Lethal, spawns aren't consistent, and it synergizes with other perks. They're both top used for a reason. Perhaps you see more WoO than Lethal because 1) there's only one killer per four survivors in a lobby and 2) you're playing killer lol
Pallet density increase was nerfed, and many pallets are in garbage locations. Just look at damn near every pallet on Trickster's delusion. Blaming pallets is, again, blaming the game.
There are 40 other killers you can choose if you don't like the ones you're using.
If people are doing sabos and flashlight saves, they aren't doing gens, so the gens can't be flying. Don't heal fast. Don't do gens fast. Don't save. Don't prolong chases with pallets. Is Endurance a problem too? Exhaustion? What is it that you want them to do exactly?

Very constructive opinion indeed, I see that midset often but on both sides.

One side seems to do it much more, and much louder. How many posts about Fast Track do we have right now? How many have their been about the 15s BT increase? Gen progress going too fast? Trickester's Delusion being survivor sided despite the worst pallets I've ever seen? How absurd was the fog vial drama? And the anti-tunnel ptb meltdown? My-killer-is-too-weak posts? Trickster is bad posts? Tbagging? For the supposed power role there sure is a lot of crying.
And how many were there for the Ruin and Pop buffs? Turn Back the Clock? Henry as whole? Gens too slow because of slowdown stacking? Visible hook states for killers? Little to nothing on these. Any little change that occurs, it's killers who blow it out of poroption. Fast Track is just example #27362 of something minor that is being treated like it's world ending.

THats lot of trauma you have there, first for you one side may look to do it more but everyone has different experience. How many posts about something killer has been here tunneling, no stronger unhook features nobody will play, ghoul being op (now he is kinda ok because his vault doesnt damage and you can vault through and theres nothing he can do so a-tier but not that strong as before) or The First (henry) being new nurse (which is kinda true if bot with wallhacks and aimbot played him thing is his power doesnt work like that but rquires prediction and thats something bots in DBD cant have that good as player) and many other posts from one side about other.
Gens are problematic thing and perks that make them do survivor faster arent so strong for a reason the thing is fast track makes them faster when killer plays like he should (or many would like to) and thats going for chaises and hooking survivors which is stupid desing if you ask me thats like killer had perk that adds 10% of progress on last gen for each gen survivor make simular desing.
Tricksters delusion everyone has his opinion but from my experience on both sides and what I seen I stick more closer to Otzs opinion about this map (theres vid so if you interested go and watch it I wont write it here why I do thats different topic), you say weak yes some are weak but you cant disagree that map is prerun heaven they are weak some pallets but in combination with windows they create very strong W play and thanks to that maps los breakers 4,4 m/s killers are done there unless you are spirit.
Fog vials Idk I havent seen them but if they stayed as they were in ptb than I get they are kinda ok but I cant say for sure now in this moment.
Other things dont need comment its just same sauce about crypost which is like 95% of this forum and you just focus here only on one side of the coin (as in your first post).
Pop is ok now if you have problem with gen loosing on kick 13,5 seconds because killer have to go and get down than successfuly hook and go to that gen and kick it than I dont know what you want from killer. Gen regression has been nerfed a lot through years more than gen increase speed perks and game is build around them since 2017 from point hag came into the game so if thats your problem maybe you should look back and ask devs what will they do about it.
Another thing is sometimes some effects that are minor alone can stack with other perks and if many people run them they can have huge impact on game like 4 survivors doing 4 gens each in 40 seconds which isnt good for the game thats why people hustle now around it like is soloq its nothing problematic until sume swf comes and unlocks some gen rush potencial thats unwanted, so some time is needed and devs claim to monitore it for this purpose (I hope they will monitore it with same passion as twitter posts about merchant before they butchered her, but for sake of us all I hope they wont make such drastick change as came from that dev twitter monitoring).
edit: for context I havent tried fast track and I havent seen anyone try it so after I watch this I will make my picture on it
you can dislike it but I take in account who has what perks and who (in skill level) runs them or plays what killer etc. so I dont think like "hens gen in 34 seconds with this build now everyone can do it" or " hens hit almost every shot with the first my got thats new nurse" like everyone could do that every time.

edit: for context I havent tried fast track and I havent seen anyone try it so after I watch this I will make my picture on itThe problem with the video is that none of the games shown actually back up the conclusion.
First trial: killer only got two hooks, value of Fast Track would have been exceeded by lots of perks.
Second Trial: killer gets a 2k
Third trial: killer gets two hooks on survivors who aren't Hens, value of Fast Track would have been exceeded by lots of perks
Fourth trial: killers get two hooks on survivors, Hens doesn't even get to use 3 of his Fast Track stacks, value would have been exceeded by lots of perks
Fifth trial: another killer gets two hooks on survivors game
Sixth trial: shows off a Twins bug
Seventh trial: killers gets three hooks this game and seems to have just tunneled someone out. If the idea is that the perk punishes killers not tunneling this one is a bad example.
Basically - the value is coming from hyperfocus, built to last, stakeout, and the toolbox. Fast Track could have been equal or exceeded by multiple other perks.

I havent watch it all (Im on game 2) but yeah if he doesnt go against oponents that get multiple hooks which kinda misses the speed of fast track which leaves questions.
The only thing I dislike on this perk now is how its set like you get token when killer hooks someone so as you said tunneler that goes for just one has less punishment from that perk than someone who goes for more people and plays casualy which is kinda bad idea like last year devs tried to solve the tunneling and minimize it but now they came up with perk that just reward tunneling Im kinda lost here in balance team translation to what the duck they are doing here, if its as you say and he didnt get enough tokes becuase killer didnt get more hooks than its still not solved in how this perk is realy good (still that build is shreading gens like crazy, one person having full gen by themself in like 40-53 seconds is crazy thats even less than back in 2016 where it took 60, two people having gen under 30 seconds is another "pretty good job" moment tbh).
1 -
No. Every killer can keep up and be strong against good people.
You need to practice the killers tho.You also can't expect to win every game and be good at every killer - there is so many things you would need to know, so many winning tactics.
I contantly win as wraith, trapper, pig, doctor and other b tiers.
There are also times when I do stack regression perks.
This creates a lot of easy matches and stomps.
But the thing is, this doesn't bring me much joy.2 -
It wasn't meant as some kind of gotcha. I just figured it would give context to the post.
There's a lot of wiggle room in "recently kicked", "roughly 20%", and "only a 30 sec chase". That's all I was hoping to see, really.
