Propinquity (Free Survivor perk designed for the deaf).
Once the killer enters 36 metres of your location. Propinquity activates to indicate when the killer is nearby.
If the killer is further than 36 metres. Generators are highlighted through walls. Generator Auras linger for 3/4/5 seconds if the killer enter 36 metres of your location.
The Perk is designed as a reversed whispers so people who are deaf or hard of hearing knows when to run. People might also have trouble hearing generators so I have also added a easy way to find generators. Whispers should also provide generator information.

For Killer indication we have visual heartbeat in the settings for quite a while now. But generally it's tough to design the game to fully include deaf people, like you cannot hear footsteps either, but those can help locate a survivor. Where is the line drawn? Because if you visualize everything that can become important you get an overload in visuals. The one thing I'd like to have that was somewhat in DbD mobile is a visual skillcheck indicator, where you saw the "pling" that comes when a skillcheck is about to happen, by the screen border blinking or something like that

I agree, problem is as you mentioned is the footsteps. The heartbeat visual doesn't work on stealth killers, so you really can't tell. That is why I tried to design a perk to help with that. A visual perk like a survivor version of Whispers.

Like Dipper mentioned, the visual heartbeat indicator is available in-game. This sounds like the same thing, but with Visionary/Deja Vu added onto it.
Sorry if I'm missing something.
I'm not deaf, but the feature I think is needed (not as perks) is a proximity audio visual indicator for things like:
- Generator progress
- Footsteps/killer movement
- Hatch
- Survivor grunts/interactions
…I believe both were in the mobile game and they were directional—incredibly well-done, in my opinion.I don't know why they are not in the game, as I don't believe they offer a competitive advantage. They effectively require the developers to establish a baseline volume which is audible to all players. This eliminates competitive advantages due to player volume preference or hearing capability.

Well, stealth killers are supposed to be stealthy. Why would you take that away? Also if you can hear a killer in any way, the heartbeat is a small red whirl, if it's in the terror radius, it's a heartbeat

Yes but what if your 100% deaf. All I'm suggesting is a perk or a base mechanic to help people who are deaf. I know taking away stealth would be a problem but regardless something needs to be done.

I have lateral hearing loss (like 95% loss in my left ear), and I struggle with directional audio, even with a good headset. Funnily enough, when I first started DBD it was as a Spirit main. Tracking survs by audio was a tricky thing for me, so I relied a lot on anticipation and prediction rather than strictly tracking.
When she was changed to provide directional audio rather than global, it was pretty much the end of her for me. I mean the cherry blossom does a lot of lifting, but I didn't really like having to use it.
Generally speaking, my inability to instantly discern where a sound is coming from costs me on a regular basis. For a deaf person, certain killers would be totally inaccessible, and they'd be at a constant disadvantage generally speaking.
Something like a proximity/directional visual indicator for sound would be amazing in cases like these. As you say, for a person with full hearing, I don't see how it would provide any additional advantage.1 -
I think visual directional audio indicators should be an optional base mechanic, but only trigger where audio would normally be present. So if a killer is silent, you don't see any indication. The visual indicator could even be color coded to indicate what is producing the noise (like red for a killer, another color for survs, another for gens, etc.).

I know people didn't like the balance of it, but I miss Father's Glasses being an option for you. I much preferred that addon to Dried Cherry Blossom
