Devs listened us <3

My most favourite change is that portal reduced sound range, portals will be even more useful <3
UPDATE. The second wind upcoming buff will also be appreciated 😁

They changed the audio for Steve... Demogorgon has a Pallet Breaker in basekit... HE'S OFFICIALLY A TIER, LADS.
OOOOOOOH BOYYYYY...
10 -
So now Demogorgon is just Billy, but with no long lasting spring, and a hint of Hag.
Interesting how this will play out in 1 hour...
5 -
wait but if they have that as default whats the new ultra rare add on?
5 -
Ommgggg this is so nice!
All the love for the bhvr team <3
3 -
exactly what i was wondering
1 -
They didn't mentioned anything about it sadly
Nevermind xd
0 -
They haven't said yet I don't think
1 -
thank you for changing Surge. even if it regresses less the distance is so nice
2 -
I bet it's going to be instant down or something with portals. in general, it looks like killer is getting some decent buffs.
1 -
He was pretty challenging to play against in PTB, now he's gonna be even more powerful <3
0 -
Pallet and surge change, both are amazing and will have a lot on impact ingame. Love these changes 😊
Edit: After playing a bit, i think it will have an big impact in the correct builds. But in combination with the demodog perks or alone, the whole perk at all in both version its not worth using it 😐

Well, you'll expect to see me P3-50ing him on the first day or two. (If I sweat hard enough that is.)
Already have 1mil BPs ready, 10k Shards, and literally 300+ Gruesome Gateaus from the 3rd anniversary event. (Not gonna use them because i'm a massive hoarder, but I thought I should say that somewhere eventually lmao.)
1 -
The worst it's gonna be the lobby wait time...
1 -
Exactly, can't wait for those 10 minute+ wait times. :D
That's actually what keeps me from P3-50ing him within 2 days or even 1, because the match making literally goes into a coma for 3-4 days when a new DLC pops off.
1 -
Yeah exactly, and since he is highly propably to be in top tier, we are gonna see him very often... Maybe even often than Spirit?
0 -
But since these lobbies time that are gonna become, I think I'm gonna stick with the Steve
0 -
I mean leatherface has a pallet breaker don't get carried away until you played a little first. Then go ahead.
4 -
I'll prolly dip into Survivor due to how common place the load times are when new DLC drops...
But I look forward to the results regardless.
1 -
In the next hot fix it will be implemented I think, this is perfect, thank you Devs, I might main him with Michael and Spirit.
1 -
Well there is still a chance that more players will gonna play Nancy or Steve (:

Red Moss (current)
Break pallets with a Pounce attack.
Slightly Decrease Pounce attack/Upside Down Charge: Time to charge gets faster
to
Red Moss (Hotfix)
Tremendously Increase Teleport Cooldown
Tremendously Increase Extend Undetectable Mode when coming out of Portal
This is still not 100% the final description so this is why we didn't publish it in the Hotfix notes.
7 -
Could you please explain to me why the matchmaking will be in coma?
I did not understand and just curious, peace
1 -
Interesting... the cooldown might be a little tough, but kinda useful
1 -
Because too many players will be on playing Demogorgon at the same time, this kills match making especially in PTBs because more people are on Killer than they are on Survivor.
So it literally makes playing match after match a slow process...
1 -
First thing that popped into my head after reading that was the Hallelujah Chorus, not just another M1 killer I guess
1 -
It's at least worth a try I think...
1 -
Yay:D

Still super salty on the surge nerf, but everything else is good. Hell I might even buy the whole chapter itself.
1 -
Side grade.
Not what it needed tho, 8% just isn't enough to be good.
12% wasn't either with the 24 meter range
3 -
It's worth noting that it's 8% and starts regression. As long as nobody's working on it, it's going to keep regressing until someone touches it again. This way, it's more focused around hitting multiple generators and keeping them regressing over hoping there's a generator near where the survivor goes down and really hammering it (that's more PGTW's thing).
3 -
I am aware.
The main issue is that most of the time those generators are already being worked on (otherwise they wouldn't have progress), so you will only get the 8%, which is outclassed by PGTW.
It's main advantage then becomes it canceling out the travel/kick times and allowing slugging, which would be great but just 8% AND the cooldown just make it ultimately not worth it.
1 -
That's the thing though; it's not meant to do the same thing as PGTW. If you're aiming to regress a generator that's being worked on, PGTW is the perk for you. If you're looking to hit multiple generators- but not as hard- Surge is for you.
PGTW already takes out a quarter of the generator. Having too much more on top of that would be excessive and just feel really annoying and boring to play against.
5 -
That's just the thing. When hitting those multiple gens it still doesn't add up to being as good as PGTW.
1 gen = 8%
2 gens = 16%
3 gens = 24%
4 gens = 32%
5 gens = 40%
You aren't getting more than 5 gens really ever.
Most of the time you'd be getting maybe 2-3 gens. That's a rough average of 20% regression.
And it's on a cooldown
And PGTW is still 5% better
And that's only if the Survivor can't run into a dead zone
And that's only if multiple Generators were being worked on in that area to begin with
And it's unlikely to work like that on a large map
Just one gen popping being less than PGTW is fine, I'd expect that obviously. But even when it's fulfilling it's purpose it's STILL outclassed by PGTW. THAT'S the problem.
1 -
It's like "I fixed your leg but broke your arm" kind of thing
2 -
Sounds about right.

I'll still try Surge with my Agitation/Iron Grasp/Mad Grit build, but I'm less convinced now that it will be worth it over Pop Goes the Weasel.
0 -
So.... I can spook survivors even better now? This is the best possible timeline.
0 -
They listened survivors too? Because they didn't change fixated. Do anyone see something for survivors (aside Nancy and Steve) in this version?
2 -
Steves Second wind perk is being fixed.
Otherwise no sadly.
1 -
Still has that issue with healing survivor in co op. I literally healed my friend at 80% and then Jake came up and healed him with him and... I didn't get the activation
0 -
Yeah cuz it was only 90% of a heal. You need 100%.
That's the perk working properly.
1 -
But I healed him fully, that jake just join us....so overly about the upcoming change this perk will be based on progression like stake out right?
0 -
You didn't.
He was healed fully but only 90% of it was you.
If you then heal someone else by 10% then the perk will activate.
1 -
This is good but the surge nerf sucks
1 -
I think surge was pointless perk when announced at 32 range at 12%. With the current surge 8%, even if the effect was global, Surge would still probably not get used. All of the killer perks are bad. When it comes to designing a new character and creativity, your amazing at the job, but when it comes to balancing these new ideas, only word to describe it is abysmal in my opinion.
1 -
They are playing it way too safe with the new perks so they’ll keep them garbage. Tbh it should actually effect the entire map but only be 5-8%. Or at least make it tied to terror radius and keep it at 12%. It’s called surge right? Make it an actual surge. I thought the point of it was to regress multiple gens. 24 meters was awful for an already awful 12% and 32 meters ain’t much better for the even worse 8%. PGTW is still leagues ahead of this garbage.
That being said, I’m glad that they made Demogorgon’s shred base kit. I was surprised they actually did it after them saying they wouldn’t alter his base kit. I have a question though.. with the new change to exit gates and portals, will killer instinct still detect survivors on the gate at its new range?
1 -
Range is 4 meters so it still does. The change was pointless.

Thank You Devs 🤗❤️😊👍👍👍
