Too many weak or underpowered killers is the issue.
-
It's every game for me btw, not just every third.
-
I bug reported this happening to me too. Nothing has been said in that thread.
-
Uninstall. There are 3 Killers left that are interactive not reactive. It's already bad enough that you just pick THREE killers of all of them, imagine if none of them were as capable anymore.
-
Oh god, is that a thing now too? Feels bad.
-
Yeah, it's just the penalty system. It is a good idea to punish someone for rage quitting, but can be annoying if it isn't your fault.
-
There is a simple way i avoid tilting when these things happen as killer. Don't play to win, just play to enjoy the chase and have some fun (if you're on PC) ALWAYS type "ggwp all" in the end game chat....ALWAYS. Acknowledge the game was well played and move on to the next. Try to make peace with the idea that you are not…
-
Much as i'd like to say it should be a penalty for holding it too long, it's a terrible over sight by the devs that it happens to people.
-
I like it. Might make some people uninstall though and i currently have a bug that just kicks me for no reason when i play any killer, so that might suck for people like me.
-
You got a 72 hour matchmaking ban for DC's? How much do you DC that it reaches that point?
-
That'll fix the issue of Hex totems going too fast for killers. Just make them uncleanseable lol.
-
Are you talking about someone getting into the Broken state with max infection? If so, when they are puking they've reached max infection. Coughing is just when they are sick and the pseudo timer has started for it. It's just something to get used to.
-
As a former console player, this person speaks nothing but wisdom and should be listened to. 🍌🍌🍌 These fine bananas are for you sir/madam, enjoy. Also small suggestion, Put Dead Hard (if you use it now that it should work again) on your other thumbstick from the drop pallet/vault bind. It's much easier to use than reaching…
-
Pfft. Hell with that. It's your game do what you like. I wouldn't be a Plague player if it wasn't fun to me. That fun aspect is far more important than a 4k or easy escape. True for this game, true for all games.
-
So, for fun, if you look waaaaaay back you once were able to Mori someone instantly.....That was fun. This is funnily enough not their first nerf. It was also more about making them fun to get and not just feel cheap. Either way, none of this will reach bhvr regardless. Still fun to discuss from time to time.
-
Imagine sweating in a video game.
-
Cheers mate but someone has already clarified that for me. Appreciate the input though.
-
Fair points. As someone else has said too the key is a 1 in 100 change to a game, making it just as pointless to argue. I'm just trying to stir some kind of discussion about what's going on there and that one change without the other isn't right.
-
They won't buff lower tier killers, they'll just nerf higher tier ones.
-
I've been around the game for 3 odd years now and remember that being a "fix" for gen tapping back when Ruin was a skill check based perk, which is why i said it seems like unlucky skill check timing. If it happens to me i've usually been on the gen for at least a few seconds and it goes when i leave.
-
We can still try (or cry).
-
Like everything, time adds up in game. I'm getting at the idea that it doesn't finish our objective as killers any faster whilst as survivors the key does when it ends the game early. It's sort of like arguments i've had about BBQ and Chilli with friends. their take being 4 seconds per hook is a lot after 11 hooks. The…
-
It's the principle and the annoyance of it from a player (my) perspective. Why exactly does that 1 in 100 get a free escape after you've hunted everyone else down. It's an anti-climax to a game.
-
As would mine be. Still going to bring it up so maybe, just maybe it annoys someone enough to do something from us whinging about it.
-
Think about it though. So on average we pick up a survivor for maybe 1.5 seconds (idk) and walk maybe 5-10 seconds to a hook, play the animation for hooking at like 2.5 (i think) seconds then resume chasing. Do it 4 times and the difference is still rather large, which is my issue not the key itself. It does save us time…
-
Chuckles, Lord of all thiccems would win and enjoy adding that delicious finger to his collection. Also funny clown being a man of substantial girth is faster than the limber, slender trickster in game.
-
My man got caught up and went DEEEEEEEEP into the forums rabbit hole. I respect it.
-
You realise i'm on your side in this argument right? The original question is "what happened" to what i had originally thought i heard them say about them being changed at the same time. I get the Mori was nerfed and the key wasn't, which it needs hence this whole thread, and we'd like to know what's going on there.
-
I've had them pop like that too, i always just put it down to bad timing when i was releasing someone being healed or repairing seeing as it isn't consistently happening for me when i leave either of those actions.
-
Same game. They didn't optimise anything. You might have better FPS though at least.
-
Camping, tunneling and slugging don't break any rules. The devs have said this before. They're also about the only thing some people can do to slow survivors down enough to actually kill someone. Remember, it takes 80 odd seconds for one person to do a gen and nearly 6 and half minutes to fully regress it with a normal…
-
4 survivors out is 4 gens complete though right? I had 4 get out a few days ago before (maybe after) the final gen was done without the gates being opened.
-
Oh [BAD WORD] you're right that wasn't you, my apologise. Not used to the forums profile icons yet, just made my account tonight to report a bug sorry.
-
They're only linked because they were mentioned at the same time in this case. Normally, as far as i know, people tend to link them because the Mori's are considered some of the more potent offerings for killers and keys are thought of much the same for the survivors. Coming from someone who plays both sides the Mori was,…
-
I am not now, nor was i ever, mad. You did something foolish on a forum, you got told it was a bad idea it could get someone banned. The exact thing you're applying to me "being mad" is the same for you here mate.
-
To be fair, on Survivor side 4 gens need to be finished before the key comes into play too.
-
Kinda hard for someone with Aspergers syndrome.
-
Gotta be mad at something i suppose. Let 'em be mad and use 'em if you got 'em.
-
Neither of them is toxic and shouldn't be looked at like that. The key is there to be used and so is the Mori. Either way someone is gunna tell me to unistall if i use it, so it's a lose lose and i'm just going to have fun with them lol.
-
Thank you. And just answer the question that was asked next time, accusing someone of lying for asking a question can get them banned.
-
Rarely, but yes. At lest i don't get insta Mori'd as a survivor anymore though.👍️
-
What's up with Nurse? My game currently DC's me anytime i try and play killer so i haven't played her for a while.
-
I'm not spreading lies, i'm asking a question because i couldn't remember what they said.
-
Solo and SWF. Solid information perk.
-
So here's my issue (lore wise). His power in the movie is fed by fear and belief in him. You think that Claud or Nea on the other side of the pallet believes in or fears him? Nah.

Stop being so good at the game and it won''t be so easy for you.
