Old Freddy was not fun to play as or against. People are way too nostalgic if they actually want that back, because he essentially had little to no actual pressure that even basic m1 killers would have. Freddy was boring then and he's boring now. A mix of the two could be cool though maybe.

I dunno about 'everyone' I assume most don't care, and it's those people who will keep coming back to the game. You'd be surprised that there are plenty of people who will put down a game in protest. I don't think it will hurt the game, but I think you discredit them too much, as there are always newer players coming in…

It's probably not seen as a thriller... but Akira
-
No Hawkins = RPD is more likely
-
False. I will prove you wrong here: It's called the Ugly Barnacle. Once there was an ugly barnacle, he was so ugly that everyone died. THE END.
-
Theres other horror games I think you could've added on here, but if I HAD to pick from these, probably FNAF. The games all have an atmosphere to them and the animatronics can look very uncanny or surreal at times. I'm not a FNAF lore expert, but from what I do know, it's interesting enough to keep people invested. Love…

Howso? It's not something I'm personally aware of.

I think it would be very interesting to see a survivor or killer walking around the map with a monochrome color scheme, though maybe from a stealth perspective it'd be quite noticeable or really strange. Which is sort of why I suggested skins as an option for this hypothetical killer/survivor, having both a black and white…

yo mr white im in dead by daylight

Honestly, I wish the zombies could be affected by more perks like how Discordance gives them a bit more direction. That could make them more consistent and engaging.
-
Silent Hill 1-4 and Shattered Memories Amnesia: The Dark Descent SOMA Penumbra Bioshock I wouldn't consider it a 'must-play', but if you've played a lot of horror games or just want something different: Dark Deception The Devil Came Through Here Trilogy (I consider it more thriller but it has plenty of horror elements) Cry…

Even though I hate Freddy, he's far from overpowered, though I don't consider him weak either. His kit just isn't very fun to play against. He needs to be changed IMO, just not because he's too weak or too strong but just making him more enjoyable.
-
Honestly, a Viking outfit sounds more fitting for Jeff rather than David. While Death Metal Jeff could be cool, I think for Halloween he should have something more unique.
-
A lot of anime sadly probably wouldn’t fit into the game. There’s a huge lack of horror anime, let alone POPULAR horror anime. There’s a lot of horror esque stuff though like the stuff you’ve mentioned, but a lot of these wouldn’t fit. If I HAD to choose, it would probably be Death Note, the live action could be…

Jeff? Skins? Sign me up, no questions asked.

I feel like it's not necessarily a bad perk, pretty decent and definitely usable actually. The problem with Aftercare IMO is that other aura reading perks are more convenient or easier to use. The information can be nice, but I don't ever find myself making the best use of the information. Maybe that's just me, but it's…

Demogorgon ofc. Can't tell you how many times I've roared just like that while making portals all around the place so I can get around while opening my mouth and hissing for absolutely no reason. So relatable! Jokes aside, probably Wraith. Apparently, I'm sometimes really good at sneaking up on people unintentionally and…
-
I think he'd honestly be weaker, but at the same time, not by much. If this were the old meta with old decisive, then definitely yes, but seeing as it was changed, it's not as great anymore. Not to say it's complete utter trash, as it can save you some time and pretty much remove the 'risks' (too rare or not common enough…
-
Similar idea, but I think to keep the chain hunt somewhat effective, the puzzle box's progress could reduce when you are not solving it. Though even maybe that's a bit much, seeing as Pinhead could interrupt you.
-
Well, Pyramid Head doesn't really work like someone with Freddy and doesn't really feed off of negativty emotions rather was created by the negative emotions of James. I don't think he's ever gotten 'stronger' from someone being more negative, just created. On the other hand, since James eventually was able to confront his…
-
This is quite tough, but there are some ideas I'd love to see, both licensed and non-licensed: Licensed - Jim from 28 Days Later James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2 Kaneda from Akira Something from Half-Life would be cool, mostly Barney or Alyx, Gordon I feel would be strange. Simon from Cry of Fear Susan Ashworth from The…

Flip Flop is the only perk you'll ever need.
-
Could be cool if they made their own version of it, I'm all for BHVR adapting ideas/stories/etc in their own ways and wish they'd do it more often.
-
Chris would be second for me, but I'm also biased, so Lisa. Off topic, but I'd disagree with Alessa being a legendary. While you are correct about her being her own sort of character, she still basically is both another 'form' (less form and more like Cheryl is a sort of reincarnation of Alessa) and looks quite different…
-
A lot of Silent Hill monsters are too strange to really work as legendaries in my opinion, but some would probably be: -Bubblehead Nurse for well... Nurse. Though they already both look somewhat similar and is likely inspired already to an extent. -The ghosts from 4 for Spirit. Mostly Cynthia, Richard and once again,…

In order from which I’d want most to least: 1: James Sunderland 2: Maria 3: Harry Mason 4: Henry Townshend 5: Eileen Galvin 6: Angela Orosco 7: Eddie Dombrowski (Would be a fun meme 8: Michael Kauffman 9: New killer skin (There are not many skins that would fit on Pyramid Head, off the top of my head, The Butcher and The…

Most of the time no. I don't care to respond if they do either usually, most of the time I'm not trying to play this game optimally (Basically I avoid meta perks for more fun or unusual builds, or at least one that isn't practical at higher ranks) so I don't care much if I win or lose, which means I usually also won't care…

Pyramid Head, Pig, Demogorgon.
-
From memory, she was real, yes, but she had died I think long before the events of SH1. It might be referring to the fact that she, like the monsters, may also be alive as a result of the power of the town of Silent Hill hence being 'like the monsters'. Also, I don't think a character not being 'real' is a real argument…

I steer more towards being indifferent, but I don't think it fits in DBD. I have nothing against SCP and yes, saying a huge catalogue of characters and lore to choose from 'doesn't fit' seems pretty unlikely as there are a handful that probably do and that I can even imagine right now that could work. The problem for me…
-
I think he represents not only creepypastas, but internet horror in general too. So much so that hes considered by some to be an actual urban legend, you don't see that every day, plus he has a very unique and distinct appearance. I think he deserves to be in DBD, though not to the point that it'd be a crime to not add him…

Jim from 28 Days Later.
-
I see it the other way around personally, I think Pennywise being added makes The Shining less likely than it already is. I would prefer The Shining over It by a long shot, nothing against It, The Shining is just awesome.
-
yes

If we're to assume maps get fixed properly to compensate, I think a rework for bloodlust could actually be pretty cool. I always thought it could be a sort of cool mechanic for different killers to be more or less susceptible to bloodlust, removing all tiers as well, I always thought it made sense if you could mori…

I never got the Candyman hype, I understand where it came from though. I have nothing against the movie, but I don't think he'd be all that interesting personally. I wouldn't be mad though.
-
Honestly, I do really like the idea of a gigantic/map based killer. In my mind, I had a concept for 'map based' killers, they only work on one map specifically made for them and work very different from other killers having much more pressure across the map. An example would be how Nemesis has his zombies, but imagine that…
-
Fatal Frame is cool, I only played a bit of 2. From what I've seen though, I think it lacks a good killer, though there have been survivor-only 'chapters', so it could honestly work just fine. There probably is a killer that would work, I just don't know them. A map could be seriously dope though, imagine ghosts on the…
-
Big yes on the Cheryl cosmetic, her design in that movie looks cool even though the movie itself was less than so. Some more suggestions for Cheryl: Shattered Memories Princess Heart (Surprised this isn't already in) and finally... Give me my damn James Sunderland legendary already or at least Maria if you want to keep the…
-
I want Arnold and not the T-800 skeleton, but I guess that could be cool too.
-
While those two could be killers, with how they work in the game, I feel like there are better killer options that more or less have the same abilities or are more interesting (Jin Yoshida = Slenderman in terms of how he works), Terry Akers would be the best contender really, but there are better contenders for sounds…
-
With how influental Dark Descent was, Frictional deserves something. SOMA would be cooler thematically though, doing gens and killing survivors underwater sounds wild, it doesn't have any really good killers though unlike Amnesia.
-
Nah. Don't get me wrong, I wouldnt be so furious and angry that I quit the game, but it'd be a weird pick to me as The Babadook wasn't really about the monster (I mean, in a way it is). I think with how psychologically driven it was AND the lack of Babadooks actual presence would just make it a strange pick for me. I…
-
You're forgetting our best friend, The Big Daddy.
-
I was actually surprised when it wasn't in the game's category, Dark Descent is probably one of the most influential horror games of the last decade. Grunt would be a cool killer, he's the most iconic. Regardless of who the monster is, they need to implement a sanity mechanic for survivors(different from doctors), becoming…
-
The Shining, Attack on Titan, Bioshock, Spawn I put in Amnesia, as a series they missed, I'd cry if Amnesia got put into dbd.
-
Walter gang rise up
-
I also want a pirate. Other than that, a Scifi theme would be dope. Something like SOMA, Alien, or The Thing, just something unique. On the other end, I'd also like something more medieval, the map could be seriously cool.
-
Walter Sullivan was also a cultist. They still put in Pyramid Head despite it making less sense.
-
I don't think it's that she doesn't fit per se, the closest thing I can think of when it comes to that is her height which iirc plague is like 7 feet tall and Dimitrescu is like 9 ft, but I think it's simply because people don't want a newer RE killer and want someone more iconic such as Nemesis or Mr. X. Also, half the…
