The entity makes them. The only real animal in the realms is Maurice, the clown's horse.
-
Ah, it was my controller plugged in laying on its controller, may be a similar issue for you.
-
I am also having this happen, however it has been when I play killer. Haven't tried survivor this patch yet.
-
it's a chapter, meaning at minimum there is a killer. Most likely there's a killer and survivor, possibly there's a second survivor and possibly a map.
-
I loved old freddy. I miss playing Freddy because I love the character but I find his new power so boring. That said, his old power was problematic in a lot of ways, we shouldn't get the same power as it was, even a little bit buffed. But I think the concept is worth attempting again. A killer with long-range aura reading…

Yes. You can complete every level of the rift before buying the pass if you like and you will unlock all the premium rewards at once
-
Thing is, I was having mostly very balanced games and quick queue times before mmr, there had been ample players to keep that up. But as soon as mmr turned on, i was matching people who haddn't played before. So either everyone I had been playing with previously suddenly dissipated, or the mmr severely misjudged who I…
-
I had the opposite experience. I have almost 3000 hours mostly on many different killers. I played some killers that I have done well with recently, but I was getting matched with people who had literally just started playing, they didn't seem to have a clue how to play. Playing as survivor was the same thing but the…

It is a licensing issue. Having locked cosmetics was a requirement from Konami. The locked cosmetics added since have been partially to normalise it, partially because they might as well go nuts with stuff like onitaur. They can't say it's a licensing issue, that would be a big no no. Not only is discussing details of a…

Dwight's actually based on a real person who doesn't work at bhvr but was a friend of the office. Just happens to bear a strong resemblance to MCote as well. A few survivors are like that, the rl version of Jake was on a dev stream once.
-
Doc can repeatedly shock the hook and it will be literally impossible for anyone to unhook unless they have desperate measures, they get stunned just before unhooking. He can't get more downs doing this but he is the outright best at confirming a single facecamp kill
-
He doesn't run through survivors but doesn't bounce off them either, more he just slides against them. Because he doesn't bounce off them, he can still rush if they're right up against him, unlike when he is up against a wall and facing it. However it can be harder for him to hit them if they are very close when he starts…
-
All of them can, keeping rank 1-2 isn't too hard, any killer can average atleast 2ks without trouble. Clown might fall into 3 if you get some real tough games since he struggles with pressure. Trapper might as well just because he's so feast or famine. But yeah wraith and legion are extra strong at pips compared to their…

Go to the center of the map or the gens you want to defend. Ideally position yourself near but a little out of view of a gen for a surprise attack when you switch back. Then scout with Victor. If you hit someone with Victor, don't commit to finding them with Charlotte automatically, it may be best to send Victor out again…

No one wants a character who's entire persona is defined by "they gay", no real person is like that. People like having characters they can relate to, and it's not like a gay person can't relate to straight characters, but they can't relate to any in that particular aspect, whereas straight people can. Sexual identity is…
-
That's just facecamping with added steps, plenty of killers can do that and make it impossible to save without trading, the only counterplay is to do gens and let the person die.
-
The cooldown doesn't need to be longer, crushing Viktor already means they have to. Wait for him to grow back. Release him again. Run him to where ever you are. And then get another attempt at attacking you, which you can counter if they fail, forcing them to do it all over. It's like demogorgon, his shred is powerful but…
-
The demogorgon bug already existed, I've gotten it before.
-
You're 100% correct but I still love it.
-
I stand by that he has never been able to turn his attack in place, I've never done it or seen it from anyone else playing him, if you have a vid I'd be very interested to see it. If you step forward you can turn but while standing in place you cannot turn at all, the attack always launches in front. If you're holding a…
-
I love his crotch camera. I imagine it's meant to make him feel much more hunched over and accentuate the hunchback from his perspective, which is very much what it does for me. I know it's silly, it doesn't match his actual model's stance, it makes corn and swamp grass a total pain. And yet I love it so much, feeling so…
-
He's never been able to launch at an angle, that's a major weakness of him. What he can do however is quickly flick his aim just before finishing the "stab knife in ground" animation, before his turning gets locked. This gives the impression of flicking and can take people off guard all the same if you launch the attack…
-
The low camera angle definitely hurts him but tbh I love it too much, I feel like a little coke gremlin. Bigger issue with swamp maps though is def that he just cannot bump into stumps and some hill sides, even if you're staring straight at them.
-
Mr Hyde was a clear inspiration for blight and his cosmetics thusfar seem to have drawn from that, particularly the top hat. I'd still like to see a better version of that aesthetic down the line, just because I didn't like the look of them that much. Werewolf / bestial thing definitely. They mentioned they tried some…
-
His addons weren't changed, just the wording was. It used to say they increase the duration of teir 3 and the ammount of evil required to reach it. Now it says they increase the duration of teir 3, and only the amount of evil required for the first teir 3, which is how they've always behaved.
-
Jekyll and Hyde yes, except blight is more Hyde than Jekyll
-
I've made use of it by baiting survivors into triggering it. Go to a gen, pretend to look for survivor, kick and pretend to leave. Then watch the perk icon for when the timer resets, as the scream sometimes doesn't play. I'm probably wasting almost as much time as I'm saving with the expose, but it has gotten me a couple…
-
Yeah it looks like it sort of sticks to his hand when he tries to toss it. really hoping they fix that. One time on ptb I happened to flick my camera when he tossed it, and I threw it across the map. It was beautiful.
-
8/10 Had a great time playing him on ptb, he is outrageously fun, and even with his jank he was still pretty effective when played with some creativity. Also super exited for a killer building upon existing lore, I think the character of the blight is neat too. I was anticipating more of a clever schemer type character,…

I second this, and Micheal did do it first, though only glass in this case, this door still proved to be very solid until he showed up: https://youtu.be/kea9YaG-BVo This door gave Laurie (and I think someone else earlier but I don't remember) so much trouble when they were trying to get away from him, then he just walks…
-
Definitely old Freddy. He needs another rework bad to inject some life back into him. Old Freddy had potential but was way too inconsistent and janky, so they made him invariably consistent and now he's just dull. I especially loved how it really felt like he was on a different plane of existence from awake survivors. I…
-
I agree. I loved him before, just because I enjoy the character and I guess I liked the challenge. It was always very satisfying to do well with an underestimated killer, and I often got messages from people surprised and pleased that I played bubba, didn't facecamp, and still was a challenge. But I'm also very glad that…

Unpopular opinion but I think the minotaur oni skin is stupid. Oni's deault design is already so awesome almost none of his skins actually improve upon it imo, his default appearance is perhaps my favourite skin. But to replace Kazan "Oni" Yamaoaka with generic moose man is so stupid. I want to be hunted by the Oni, on his…

Ptbs are usually 2-3 weeks. This tuesday (wednesday for us oceanics) will be 2 weeks of ptb. This ptb started a little earlier than expected so I expect it'll last until next tuesday, we might get a ptb patch this week, or possibly a video, or possibly nothing.

If I see there's no obsession I will actively avoid tunneling. first just out of respect, second because tunneling sucks. Same goes for games with obsession, only time I'll really tunnel is if someone chooses to use their ds aggressively, they've decided to trade defense for offense and that's a trade they should be…

Farming can usually mean 1 of 2 things. A survivor unhooks another survivor without giving them any protection and while the killer is very likely to just down the unhooked survivor right away. The survivor is farming the other survivor, getting them killed for points without caring about how it will impact the team. The…

I haven't felt it be that bad but granted I am still pretty garbo at the flicks so I dunno. I definitely get to make plenty of attempts at flicks, to the point where I'm basically throwing the game, and I still only overheat quite rarely, even without addons to counter it. Also yes I do play on oce.
-
The nerf was a reduction to the rate of heat dissipation while not charging, it only affects the speed at which his chainsaw cools down while you're not using it. So the only thing it affects is getting slightly less cooldown in the small time between flick attempts, the amount of time you can keep your chainsaw up to…
-
Flicks are utterly unchanged. Even if you are nonstop attempting flicks it's gonna take a couple of gens worth of attempts to overheat. And even if you do somehow manage to overheat you can always put on a cooldown reducing addon while you're learning to flick.
-
I still see him as survivor as much as I see other killers. What I see much less of is instasaw billies, which I am massively thankful for. Also I now play as him a bunch, didn't play him very often before but his touch up made me more interested in him and now he's one of my favourites. He really wasn't harmed at all by…

no one was asking for a battlepass system They had done polls prior about what things people would like added to the game. The Battlepass type option was very highly voted among those. Many many people were asking for a battlepass system, you just weren't one of them. no one forced them to release a battlepass when it…

Approx 5 minutes is the ideal time for experience/shard gain.

Chill my dude. Cross progression is complicated to implement in games that weren't built with it in mind. But it has been announced that cross progression is being worked on and will probably be coming very soon, before the end of the year most likely.
-
Telling the killer in post-match lobby that their killer is boring or unfun is just rude. I wouldn't list all the things survivors do that I enjoy, let's both play for our fun first. Tunneling and camping aren't fun for anyone. If it's someone who seems to think they're untouchable then yeah it'll be great when they die…
-
Noed and adrenaline exist only to balance each other out, the game would be better if we just removed both of them. Just because something gets nerfed doesn't mean the devs thought it was overpowered. Sometimes things should behave differently than they do, even if it means making it slightly weaker. Eg: the many changes…
-
Yes. He was called the alchemist at this point, and he was also in the first tome. The first tome shows more of how he became the blight. Ah right, I assumed void was being used as a simile for entity, but actually it would have been referring to the part of the entity where it discards the people that have been drained of…
-
Ptbs are 2-3 weeks. This one began a little sooner than expected so my guess is 3 weeks for this one.
-
The escape was unconfirmed until today. One of the Blight's addons is Vigo's Journal, and its description states that Vigo escaped.
-
Benedict was an investigator looking into missing persons cases who accidentally got pulled into the entity. He used to write a lot of the lore entries, they were canonically part of his journal, but he hasn't been used in a long time. The Observer is from a magically enlightened world, and was part of an organization…

There's a new killer every 3 months, and a mid-chapter patch in-between each of them, which often includes changes for older killers. Essentially there's major content changes every 6 weeks. That's the same release schedule they've had since clown, and it's been working fairly well so far. In that schedule these killers…
