I have to agree with Kuri on this. I rarely DC, but when I do its because of things like the game being taken hostage or the killer clearly cheating/lag switching. I mean seriously if I jump out a window, run into another house into the basement and bam I'm back at the window getting hit, why should I keep playing? What…

I used to work at Blizzard. One thing I learned is you have to look at the "intended" mechanics, and develop the "rule-set" from there. Just because you can do something does not mean that is what you are supposed to do. So that's how I look at it. You are not "intended" to run around the same spot 1000000x to waste time.…

I mainly play survivor, and man I could not agree more. If I see a team mate exploiting/cheating/botting/afk I hope the killer camps and tunnel them. I personally wont pallet loop exploit, I wont bring a flashlight into a game (if a chest gives me one I rarely use it), and I wont loop around ridiculous paths there were not…

Yes sorry, The way I read it was different then I guess it was written. I do not see the need to make perks into basic skills. Honestly I do not care if they hide items or not. The only time I use items is if I have a daily to do (sabo/heal) and I personally do not feel that the killer knowing beforehand creates a huge…

Or, if you are a killer and see flashlights you do not wish to deal with, alter your load out to accommodate for Franklin's or Lightborn. You, as a killer, have the opportunity to change these things. You can not get angry they exist if the game gives you ways to deal with them.

I agree with Fluffy on all accounts. Too many times killers say there is a way to deal with their "bad" tactics such as camping (BT), slugging (unbreakable), Doctor (calm spirit), totems (small games), etc. So it only seems natural that the killers should also use the INGAME tactics to counter their frustrations (items and…

I will gladly give up all survivor items and offerings if killers had to give up all add ons and offerings.

I am confused. Its ok for killers to lobby dodge due to items, but not ok for survivors to DC games due to add ons?
-
Its easy. Play survivor, go to a gen. Dont touch it, wait a while. Boom it explodes but you are by yourself!
-
I just did a game where I was the weak link. I helped with 2 gens, unhooked 2 people and died. I made some silly vaulting error (vaulted into the basement against a LF) and I still pipped at rank 1. Doing nothing but gens are not going to help pip. Like ClogWench said, unhook and heal.

If you are on PC you can add me to steam and we can play. Steam name is Kratorex

Now I am imagining a hatchet one-shotting people so hard they DC!
-
Honestly I can see why people DC for tunneling/camping/slugging. Its really not fun playing the "watch the ground" or "Kranky Babysitter" simulator. I also had a friend who would DC to punish killers for certain actions. I was on the hook and the killer was camping me staring at my beautiful David eyes. Poof there goes a…

Hey Iceman! Thanks for the response, but I may have not properly conveyed my point across. I am not asking for game play help or advice. I am more interested in what keeps you playing the game. From your response tho I see you are like me, where you play the game for fun and enjoyment. As for toxicity and if it exists or…

I hate hatch stand offs, it ruins the fun of the game. What I hate about the hatch is when me and another survivor are left and the other survivor just gives up, hides, and waits for me to be found and die. Yes, I will continue to do gens even if I know the other person is hiding and waiting me out. But I agree with you.…

My favorite is when I am running for 5-6 steps after a vault and then get downed from a billy. He clearly wanted it more than I did.
