I'll have some trouble using Main Event again, and I'll have to just run through some loops like an m1 killer again, But outside of that half it might be fine.
-
My only problem with the knight rework, (it's also a bit buggy) is now that you can use one guard back to back. I should just use Jailer, most the time. No need for sight buffs or nerfs or map. Just Jailer. But the map change is fine.
-
That's what I would have hoped, but unfortunately, I don't have them on some characters.
-
The best part of crossplay is the missing endgame chat
-
After 1,500 hours you were bound to feel like this... I mean that's a whole lotta Shift + W or M1. I mean it sounds like the only matches you want are the easy ones with M1 only killers with no ability to play around pallets or windows. A nice match with no thoughts but Shift + W and M1 holds.
-
Its just a better gameplay loop for me. I get to earn a nice amount of bp regardless of a "win" and chases on a lot of maps can be fun. I just like to mess around honestly.
-
I wish this wasn't the case...
-
Could have been early dead dawg, like real early. The main site has pictures of hooks being up there.
-
Yeah look at that, right on the dbd website too. I honestly didn't remember hooks being able to spawn there, but went to the game site and under the map images was this picture of it. Honestly a weird spot for a hook anyways.
-
I always forget about the cake...
-
I've been playing her some to get more of a feel for her. Every now and then I would grab someone out of a locker see her little hand animation. Then I go back to the regular servers and do some games. I had a quest for spirit play her and during the match I grab some people out of lockers. And then my brain connects the…
-
It fits the Hellraiser lore so they decided it was a feature to make survivors suffer these games.
-
Ah, yes. the ability to choose your "Tools of Torment" if only her power were that cool... To be honest a majority of killer add-ons seem to be useless anyways, a killer with an arsenal of add-ons that could change her playstyle for each combination would have been cool
-
As any killer with a decent power, it's w/e for deadhard. For the M1 killers it's painful to see. M1 killers already have an uphill battle sometimes and having to hit a survivor 3 times can take way too much time. You have to fake deadhard on all survivors at least once per match just to see if they have deadhard which is…
-
They won't and they would never. The chapter will come out, they'll make some tweaks here or there, and then they'll move on. Like every chapter.
-
Mikaela's Glasses look good but wearing 3/4s of a gas mask looks odd.
-
I played a few games as the new killer in ptb. Honestly she just doesn't seen worth it, her perks are too situational to be used and her power is visually nice but performs poorly. ( I don't want to 3 gen 30+ min matches). And I don't see myself ever using either survivor skin or perks. (Minor note, I also don't like the…
-
There's a lot to be desired from the new killer that just wasn't met. I think her name is bit weird, she really could have just been called "The Tracker" honestly. Too much of a focus on the skull-drones but her whole gimmick is more tracking than skulls. Her perks are just weirdly situational that I don't really see them…
-
Maybe it does just need the right combo of perks to support it, I just feel like its kind of harsh to the other survivor if its gonna be a long game. I remember people getting kind of upset to be bp farmed off hook, I get a feeling we will see more of that again.
-
It wouldn't be the first time they do something counter-productive with perks. I mean look at the new Exhaustion perk that kinda encourages the killer to tunnel the unhook. Or Self care being invalidated by COH. With how long the game has been out eventually something new will break something old. Knockout is sadly only…
-
Blindness by itself is a status effect that only really effects SoloQ players. A Swf of any size can and will share information. Knockout causes the downed survivor to become blind on top of hiding their aura from others. A swf will not care about the blindness on the perk from either perspective. A soloQ player is left…
-
And the whole point of knockout is to target SoloQs so it would be fine
-
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Blindness status effect should disable the hud. Then Blindness becomes a real status effect to use
-
Don't forget Guards on their patrol path need vision, (in most cases) to spot a survivor. A survivor should still be able to sneak around a guard. But it's also important to note that loud actions, like dropping a pallet or vaulting a window can trigger a guard in range with no regards to vision. So if you drop a knight on…
-
I think some people are misunderstanding something here. I don't actually want to nerf distortion I'm just venting about a swf game where my 1 aura reading perk was made useless. But I guess I should say that with aura reading covering a larger and larger range and gen perks being dialed back on killer, (Were entering a…
-
I mean, I could argue the same thing about eruption only incapacitating 1 survivor and not all 4. But it still needed to get gutted I guess? But to be perfectly honest. I don't even mind distortion as it is, like I said this was a vent post.
-
I would gladly play a match on any of those maps. Borgo and mother's dwelling are big maps with big issues and I would take any other map in place of those.
-
Let it be proximity voice chat that the killer can hear and now its spicy gameplay. But honestly I feel like Voice chat would only benefit non-swf groups because, lets be honest, friends are gonna voice chat no matter what. But with recent survivor hud changes it feels like were trying to inch closer to something akin to…
-
Depends on the swf I guess? I don't really judge players who just go about the game by game, swf or not. Swf just means my short games get shorter or my long games get longer. It's the groups that get together to game the killer with sabos and flashlights. Then it's hard not to judge them.
-
I remember Forever Freddy, the strongest he had ever been until they gutted his add-ons because they felt they were too harsh. Now I don't think any add-on under red is good.
-
I mean they are pretty decent, once they fall asleep. But if they aren't asleep then you don't have a power. So it feels like I should only chase asleep survivors, because only then my snares are decent.
-
I mean the snares only work if they are already in the dream, and you have to injure them or wait a minute until they work. They are also completely useless if the survivor recently used a clock to wake up.
-
They'd have to be replaced and that's a good handful of perks. But it sounds like you want OG dbd with no gen kick.
-
I think the problem with COH is the bonus healing speed it gives that can stack with med kits. I don't mind a survivor being able to self care, but honestly its just a better self care in most cases. if the healing speed bonus and self care speed was adjusted it would be more in line with the other boons.
-
Im talking about older freddy. Forever Freddy was after the rework. OG Freddy who had to wait 7 secs before he could hit anyone. OG Freddy who had Dream Aura reading and complete invisibility to awake survivors.
-
I didn't think I was offended by it, I just thought it was common. I don't usually stick to DBD this long. I was off and on from alpha to now. I honestly just wanted to know if that was the common phrase or if I really was just playing weird?
-
DH I swing into every time, no sense in waiting/baiting. And is CoH still complained about? Honestly I don't even mind that one, most my games I think I ignore blessed totems. (I shouldn't but the amount of times I really get hit by em are few.) I think the only survivor thing that can be boring for me is the end game…
-
Favorite: Trickster, I enjoy his laughs and lines, ^Wesker is the runner up for the same reason Least favorite: Billy, steering his chainsaw always feel weird and daily haunts me for it.
-
Wish I could play twins, but I get this buggy feeling trying to ready a match for em.
-
Then I could run all the Gen perks. And really stall the game out.
-
its the same problem with a few other killer add ons, a lot of them just apply status effects that aren't going to matter anyways. I do think we should have just gotten add-ons to change his guards timing or chase speed.
-
I don't even know if this was meant for me. And if it was I don't even know what your trying to say.
-
I think your missing my point, Exposed can skip a health state, and dead hard can act as a third health state sure... but Expose isn't permanent. The situations that expose can come into play are rarer than a deadhard. Deadhard is more constant than most expose perks its not fair to compare deadhard a nearly constant third…
-
I imagine its when the survivor team is built around such perks is the real problem. because as a killer the only time boil over really gives me trouble is when another survivor is running saboteur or a toolbox
-
I thought this looked familiar, and looking through recent patch notes. I thought they fixed this one, but its just another bug that is very similar. What a messy Killer.
-
The problem with expose perks are the situations. All those expose perks you listed only really work in certain conditions, where as dead hard is anytime your injured. I usually have to devote my perks to Hubris to get it to work. Rancor I rarely get to use because most survivors seem to know to bodyblock here. I only used…
-
I don't normally play this killer, is there a game breaker with her at the moment?
-
I usually try to avoid tunneling unless I'm really spoiling for a win. Tunneling is just a fast way to make a match easier on me, knocking a survivor out of the match quickly can really help lighten the load on a killer. Gens can and will fly with four people but three are easier to manage. There are few times I do it…
-
I feel like I'm going blind every time I have to chase a survivor through the corn. It doesn't help they made all the corn fields broad daylight as well.
-
He can be in some maps, but I at least can have fun playing scratched mirror on indoor maps.
