  • Odd how that's selective, it's almost like the games telling you something.
  • Ah so that's what they meant, the FPS drop attributes to that issue. Also I'm surprised you randomly replied with that after awhile. I forget if we were having this exact conversation but it went silent until now.
  • Then I consider myself lucky to not encounter that issue.
  • That sounds horrible tbh. I hope when the new generation of consoles takes off, so too will the optimization. But only time will tell and i'm not an expert on the matter anyways.
  • Wiki says 20% so either that's wrong or your information is (not trying to sound rude). Either way, I get what you mean though. When comparing it to perks that add more bonuses then debuffs, it's only a minor convenience at the end of the day. Even if it was 20% or 15%, it's still not a lot.
  • I mean if you get hit by frenzy (which happens like 90% of the time with legion anyways) it doesn't really matter if it applies sloppy or not into the mix, the initial down afterwards is why it becomes annoying. But you most likely already know that, I'm just clarifying for no reason. The point is that I see what you mean,…
  • This post is ancient when it comes to forum standards, by the time you commented this the post was insanely outdated.
  • Yes but I'm saying you could argue it's one of his best perks is what I mean. Since it literally keeps survivors injured if they don't heal and drops more orbs. It's probably one of the best Killer and Perk relationships in the game.
  • Actually the reel-than-hit on Deathslinger works with Sloppy because that's still a basic attack, regardless if it's given from a harpoon shot. You can see this is the case since NOED works with it, so Sloppy naturally would too. But yeah, if we're talking a SWFs or a good team then of course Sloppy is basically worthless…
  • Sorry to hear that, hopefully it improves. That makes no sense to me. That doesn't happen to me when facing Sloppy and I've been facing a lot of them tonight. Are you sure you're not just speaking in-general for when survivors get hit? Because from personal experience I don't face this issue.
  • I would argue that benefits Oni a lot, considering more orbs drop the longer the heal takes.
  • Fair enough. I too hate Dead Hard with a passion and kind of wish the distance from it would get removed. (To clarify I hate the distance because of the DH for distance meme. The perk itself is primarily easy to bait) We all dislike somethings, some more then others.
  • But... that just happens because a Survivor is not paying attention to what's in-front of them?
  • It's what it's, teams and players as a whole will naturally use what's the strongest at that time. DS was that exact thing, now it's something else. if it's not one thing, eventually another takes its place. Although in some cases, many would argue that players using DS less and Adrenaline more is a win win.
  • Which is usually the case when it comes to people saying X is unfair because of Y. They either don't understand how to counter it or just outright hate the perk and automatically label it unfair. You can say we've all been at that point. But at the end of the day, it isn't a perk that could be called for a nerf. So in a…
  • Unfortunately some disagree with that, they want to end the game as soon as possible, by extension they want a challenge. Sometimes though seeking a challenge comes at the cost of limiting your expectations, which ALSO ironically limits what you consider is fun.
  • That's fair, but I rarely see a good SWFs now a days. Even an average one is rare to find for some reason, it's usually just meme builds or cocky SWFs that just end in their death. Also I don't see what you mean by "gone back to running Adrenaline and genrushing" since they've done that most of the time anyways. My guess…
  • I dont have that issue with the frame drops, so unfortunately I can't relate. And I can understand why you like the perk, it makes sense that the Killer wants the trial to go on longer so he can continue to play, rather then a team ending it as soon as possible. Which ironically makes the game dull if it just ends within 6…
  • What if they don't have Sloppy? Then the perk is useless. The bonus is nice, but the bonus itself only adds so much if your team doesn't heal you or you yourself want to use other perks instead. Honestly Botany helps more, since you can heal others afflicted with the mangled affect. Even if they're not, it's nice to have a…
  • I think that's why I'm seeing Sloppy + Thanato a lot right now. Yeah, it's like you said it really depends on what Killer is using it.
  • Odd how an icon addition or change can do that.
  • Is that a console thing? Or are you on PC? I remember that being an issue in the past for console, so that's why I ask. If you're PC though, then perhaps your specs just can't handle the sudden "blood fountain" animation when you're hit.
  • Wish I had that, usually they just unhook me and let me rot. Sometimes I go the entire game without healing. Really just depends on the team I suppose. I guess from that perspective it really does just depend on how you use it, rather then what it's for. If that makes sense.
  • Well I could argue you should heal against him since that's primarily what will negate the power itself, but then you could argue not healing isn't exactly bad if you already have a grasp on looping in itself. Perhaps saying it's unfair is strong, considering my comments suggest it's more akin to annoying then unfair. But…
  • I cant really say if that's the end all solution, since some argue it's needed while some don't. Personally, it isn't the most outlandish suggestion to a change. 90 seconds isn't short, but you could argue it's a bit long. Perhaps 80?
  • A fair point. Realistically it's like my reply to you suggests, people prefer to argue against what's tolerable then what's OP. Like is Spirit OP? Some argue yes and the stats usually suggest that's the case. Is Blight OP? Some also argue yes, but it really boils down to skill alone with their flicks. All in all, my point…
  • That and Botany, especially if it's a healing build or everyone is using med-kits. But sometimes not everyone uses med-kits or healing perks, which usually is more often then some people think. So it kinda borders on unfair and fair when we're talking scenarios. But what isn't argued as unfair or fair when you bring that…
  • This I can agree with, I never use mangled add-ons either for this exact reason. Why would I use an add-on on a Killer that applies the mangled effect, when I could just use Sloppy and a better add-on that could benefit me even more? It's like the Blindness effect argument, the status effect itself on rarer add-ons isn't…
  • Sounds like we see eye to eye. I also believe in what you've said, especially since I play Killer more and even I hate this perk. Sometimes I'll use it if I see 4 med-kits in a match, but even then it doesn't feel rewarding. As for survivor, who doesn't hate healing for a longer portion of time? It just takes away from…
  • Well that's quite odd in itself, probably because of the bleeding animation itself that causes that. But realistically how often do you see Oni and Billy? Yes it only works with basic attacks, but Oni and Blight need to do those sometimes to get hits in. Especially Oni since his power requires basic hits to absorb blood.…
  • Very fair comment, especially with that healing part. I too see that quite often and that's just another issue all together. For some reason some survivors need to be behind a wall before they can heal, despite the Killer being half way across the map and clearly chasing someone else...
  • No problem! And yes I agree, the body is lacking in the flare that the usual P2 bodies get for Killers. I think this is just because the body itself was already bloody so they decided to not add much more to it. That's my only guess anyways.
  • Thank you! Glad it's improving for each entry.
  • Because it's a challenge for me when every new DLC comes out, I attempt to P3 them day 1 or day 2 and then put this together so players can preview the prestige outfit for themselves, rather then getting the DLC and doing it themselves if they don't want to put the effort into that specific Killer. Also, the only real…
  • I think the idea behind the mori was to focus more on the knives themselves, primarily because they were in his backstory. From what little I read about it, it seems the knives actually played a role in how he started as a sort of "showman" in his fathers restaurant. I didn't read it entirely but I assume they also are…
  • Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! I'll be sure to look into your software recommendation as well, it'd help with blending every video together in a more organic showcase, rather than posting 4/5 videos in one post.
  • And I'm more impressed I wasted 7 hours to get his adept. Jokes aside, I've been doing P3 showcases since Demogorgon, and with a lot of hate this Killer has been getting I just assumed showing a preview would give people an idea of what it might look like. Considering a lot of people might not get the DLC because of the…
  • No problem, glad I could give a preview if you ever decide to get it yourself. As for how it looks, I also like how natural it is compared to other iterations from different Killers. Hopefully they follow this trend with the next Killer as well!
  • Before anyone says it, they technically didn't delay the chapter if they never announced its release. Chapter releases are primarily speculative without a formal release date. Besides that, I'd personally like to see Trick Knife be in his base-kit with Thumb Drive, or at least a 4.6 M/S increase.
  • Ha ha, neither do I. The only comparison-ish to that atm is probably like Soul Guard, Adren, DS, and Unbreakable. But Soul Guard is only really annoying if you downed someone at a gate who has DS active and Soul Guard to negate a hit. But that doesn't come close to MoM, which literally allowed someone with full health at a…
  • I know you said "No killer perk has come close", but remember pre-nerf MoM? Now that was busted, especially when used with DS. But besides that, I'd argue pre-nerf Ruin might've been the closest contender to that claim. As of current perks it'd probably be Undying until it's nerfed... maybe.
  • Right, if they just let you preserve it like Myers Tier lll then it'd see more use. Of course in certain circumstances this would arguable be busted under the right conditions, so reducing the time of it while also letting you preserve it would be a fair trade. Not an insane time cut, but not one that allows you to chain…
  • That's fair, but I'd argue it's realistically nothing compared to... other examples. Like of course being chased by a OoO user is annoying and naturally you down them immediately because they already pose an issue in-game, especially if they're insane, but if we again ignore the post-chat it really doesn't mean much. To…
  • I guess when you think about it, a lot of players seem to ONLY just play DBD for the most part. So naturally it makes sense where this comes from since they primarily play this game. In some cases this could also just be because they've never seen... other examples.
  • It's different with everyone honestly, that's really what it boils down to. Like you I also just pass time with a video or something until the match begins, but for others they just want to go from one match to another. Makes sense right? You want to play the game. And I understand your comparison of course, but it again…
  • Out of most matches I probably only use Show Stopper when there's no windows, pallets, or corners around. Otherwise the power just get wasted since by the time I get it I already downed someone, hooked them, and the power ends. But in the right circumstances, though rare, it's quite effective in downing multiple survivors.…
  • As much as some people might not want to hear it, there is a lot worse toxicity in other games. Like if you ignore post-chat for a second, what's really toxic in-game? Being t-bagged and blinded or something?
  • No of course not, but think of it like this. If you played every game and it required 10 minutes to just get one match, would that not eventually make you furious? I personally don't experience queue times like that, my max is prolly 3 minutes on either side, but 10 minutes really does add to the frustration if you're…
  • I can't say The Trickster is breaking records, but I also can't say his power isn't fun in a way either. But that's usually when it works under the right circumstances. This isn't really a throw A and hit B type of Killer like Huntress or Deathslinger, it really does require some critical thinking in a match sometimes to…
  • I think the last time I got those consistent matches was a year ago. The closest was a few months ago getting a back to back Forever Freddy build (same build too with different console players) into a Spirit. And that was it really, the rest was either Deathslinger, Blight, or something random. After that I didn't really…
