There are no plans for voice communications within the game at all.

Right now our main focus has been the Strobing / Flashing light issue as well as the rubberbanding issue, the first one is completely resolved, and we're continuing to work on the latter. We will share more information as it becomes available.

The update is now live across all platforms to fix this issue with Strobing / flashing lights - thank you all for your patience and assistance.
-
I'm so sorry you got sick from it, it's been the same for me with watching the videos, triggers migraines Good news though is that an update should have gone out to PS players in the last 30 mins that should resolve the issue

We confirm Friday's tentative fix for the Strobing / Flashing Lights issue did indeed resolve the problem. We'll now submit this update (7.7.0A) for certification to all platforms. Most players can expect this within the next 48hrs (Switch might be slightly further out). Thank you so much for your patience. We are also…

I'm not sure why you thought your CPU was under the minimum specs, it's exceeds them CPU wise, so that's definitely not the issue you are having - I suggest checking your other hardware then troubleshoot for the issues you're having. (whilst you may have had a similar crash to others, yours is definitely not due to your…

Thank you so much for confirming, hopefully with the update today you will no longer experience the issue.
-
Did this happen after todays update or before?
-
Just to confirm something, the minimum requirements to run the game on PC have not changed - it's likely that some older PC's CPU's could still run the game, even though they didn't meet the minimum required system specifications. with the exception of the Operating System I don't believe anything has changed on the…

This is purely an issue with the wording, it's due to the update that happened today - the perk has not yet changed in game, it's scheduled to be as advised in the Developer Update, and will be in an upcoming hotfix.
-
I want to thank you all for the information that you're putting on this thread, you are most definitely helping to narrow down the issue. We've applied a TENTATIVE fix to Steam and Epic Games Store, if this is successful then that will be rolled out to all platforms next week. Please keep updating us in this thread if…

<3 thank you! Thank you all for the information you are providing here, I'm super grateful to each and every one of you.

back-ups might be helpful! It would be great if you could upload them, thank you
-
thank you, I've edited your post to remove the video due to photosensitivity for people.

was that hooked in the basement or elsewhere?

Thank you for the information To find your Dead by Daylight logs: Press the Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command. In the text box paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Logs Click "OK" - this will open your Dead by Daylight Logs folder. If it does not open the Dead by Daylight Logs…

It does look a lot to do with the engine upgrade, I don't know any game which is Live and has made the switch to not have problems. I can assure you that the team is doing everything they can to try to resolve the issues as quickly as possible, it's definitely not a pleasant situation for anyone, and one we'd rather not…

not at all, and this has been raised as a bug!
-
+1 to that comment
-
yes that is a bug, that's something that's been decided as being needed and 10s is far too short. I believe we're still looking at keeping it the same as it was previously, which I believe is 30s but would have to check, there's no current plans to change that but thank you for your feedback.

not sure on the cooldown, that's being checked by QA as well as the red/white glow etc.

To combat the most egregious cases of facecamping where it was next to impossible to get an unhook, that's why the meter has a distance requirement to it, as unhooks can be made if the killer is camping at a distance, if killer is hitting a survivor on the hook for example, they're clearly too close and will trigger the…
-
That's actually a bug, hopeful of a fix in an upcoming hotfix Also if Victor is not triggering the antifacecamp feature that might also be a bug, as I think he's supposed to.

The team are lookign into the issue of missing characters on Switch, please do not repurchase anything you have already bought, as I cannot guarantee refunds.

thank you!

@ReverseVelocity what platform are you on? (can't watch the video myself as I do get an issue with flashing lights)
