That sounds like a weird interaction. To clear things up: - Were there any teammates close to the hook? Even when downed, the proximity of teammates slows down the timer or stops it completely. - Was this in endgame (all gens completed / hatch closed / End Game Collapse in progress? If so, the anticamp meter is disabled in…

Chiming in. With the release of the Dungeons & Dragons chapter, the order in which prestige cosmetics are assigned was changed for a then unknown reason. On Survivor, the order should be Torso, Legs, Head but was changed to Head, Torso, Legs. The same happened on Killer (with the intended order being Weapon, Torso, Head).…

To prevent stuff like: "How were you able to do gens so much quicker? You must be a hacker!" "How were you able to see me so often? You must be a hacker!" While making hackusations is much easier than bothering to read what a perk does, at least the devs provide the necessary info so that we have a way of knowing what is…

Well, removing bad add-ons would defeat the purpose of the Chaos Shuffle imo. You can equally get a bad build with perks that don't synergise at all with each other. That's the whole point. So having that same risk with your add-ons only makes sense imo.

Well, let them stand there at the exit gate all day if that's what they want. They are wasting their own time too, and for nothing if you never show up to watch them leave. Go around the map, break any walls you can find, any dropped pallet that's still lying around, or just find a nice, comfy spot to afk in until the…
-
It's a feature implemented in the rework. His dream pallets now function similarly to party pallets from the anniversary event, on top of acting like landmines.

Custom Game is a sandbox mode with unlimited access to add-ons and perks. It's meant to allow people to quickly test various things, explore maps, try out killer powers. What this mode needs most of all is at least one killer bot (Trapper), so that you can also play Survivor without the need of a buddy. But making any sort…
-
They remove any event points you gained, leaving you only with the regular points earned during the match.
-
It is worth noting that in the current Bone Chill event, both roles have a 100% incentive by default to make up for the bugged Mistle Toe offerings. This can go up to 125 or 150 but won't drop below 100.
-
They should make it so that anon mode players can't type in chat (both before and after a match), similar to console players. That would mitigate most of the problems with it. Would it stop people from excessively BM'ing during the match? Not really, most of the time it's not even anons who do that. I've come across…

I will add some killer POV as well:
-
Clicking on the Charms icon will remove the pop-up window and reveal the search bar below.
-
This achievement dates from a time when 'mystery boxes' existed in the Bloodweb at all times, which made it relatively easy to get. However, they removed these a while ago and now they only appear during select events, such as the Anniversary, Haunted by Daylight and Bone Chill. Just keep leveling up your characters,…

I have recorded two instances of the Winter Party Starter making no sound at all when dropped. Once out of a chase, and once in a chase.
-
I'm noticing in your screenshots that all displayed cosmetics are of Very Rare quality. Could it be that you have a filter set to only display those? You can change the filters using the icon to the right of the Search bar.
-
If you trigger the jumpscare it's already too late. You have to hit them before they get a chance to do that. Just chuck snowballs at every snowman you find and you should get it no problem.
-
Can confirm as well, though without footage. When playing Survivor and dropping a Winter Party Starter, it makes no sound at all (it should make some kind of sizzling sound before exploding). I'll try to record some footage tomorrow and add it here.
-
Screenshot to clarify my above post.

That's not a bug, but an intended effect of the perk Weave Attunement: "Whenever an Item is depleted for the first time, it is automatically dropped." In your clip, you used up your toolbox so it dropped immediately after it ran out of charges.
-
Make sure to select the event queue, instead of the normal one.

Second week in a row that the BP icon does not have that particle effect anymore :(. From November 26: Today:

That player was most likely just farming the Deadly Plunge achievement, which requires you to fall a total of 1000 meters. It's an achievement that was added with the Doomed Course chapter. I've done the same thing at least twice, Eyrie main building is a really nice spot for that. The AFK penalty can stay imo. Don't queue…
-
I ran into the same cheater twice yesterday but never suffered a DC penalty. This is maybe because I was able to move a bit before being caught. I believe that if you get grabbed and hooked immediately, before pressing any buttons or doing anything, the game thinks you were AFK and applies a penalty. Just report the…

Still present in patch 8.4.0.
-
Did you or your friend use the perk Shoulder The Burden at any point in the match, and accidentally took a hook state from another survivor and transferred it to yourself?
-
This is not a bug. The Nurse blinked at least once before hitting you, and her blink attacks are considered Special Attacks. This was a nerf that was implemented a long time ago, and it seems the Nurse player didn't get the memo. Sloppy Butcher, Surge, anything that applies exposed, are all examples of perks that require a…

Alright, thanks everyone for your explanation :) We've had so few original survivors lately (Gabriel and Sable are the only ones these past couple of chapters) that I must have forgotten how this works. Now I know. So, I just have to be patient, is all!
-
When they mentioned the D&D-themed Chaos Shuffle in today's livestream, I was hoping to see them finally release the D20 charm. Unfortunately, no mention of that, BUT I do love the red dragon charm :D.
-
AFAIK it shouldn't matter which cosmetic you equip, even if it's Legendary, because as far as the game is concerned you are still playing the base character. You can do daily rituals and archive challenges as a Legendary character as well because of this. So this warrants a few questions: Did you get the Merciless Killer…

Alright, I was just wondering. But why bother when people can easily check your comment/discussion history on this platform to see what language that is. Not to mention go look for your profile by means of the username displayed.

what's with all the censoring

-
To add to this: several challenges in this page also fail to mention the "complete in 2v8" requirement. I tried one in regular mode but it didn't progress.
-
I am pretty sure this is intended. Blocked gens cannot regress by any means. If a gen is regressing, and something blocks it, the regression is paused until it unblocks. While Weaving Spiders is not a regression event, it still is an event that influences a generator's total charges. On the wiki, it says: "A blocked…

The dog's animations look extremely unpolished, which is expected from a PTB. But I really hope it's getting looked at before release. Because Knight too is still an incredibly ugly mess at times (completely disappearing for a split second when finishing a path and taking his terror radius with him). It just looks…

Flashlights don't work on her crows and swarms anymore.

How the hell did you type all that and completely miss the point the OP is making. This was about tome challenges and rewards. I guess you copypasta'd it from somewhere else and didn't read what OP wrote? Event challenges tend to be mostly mixed challenges, which means you can do them on either role. Some exceptions apply,…

Which effect of OTR am I canceling if I do a conspicuous action? I can't tell which of its features are still active. You are cancelling the Endurance effect, and you should see the corresponding icon disappear. However, the silent grunts of pain and protection from aura reading remain in effect for the full duration,…

Wait, already? Not in one hour? Oh, that's right. Daylight Savings Time … YAY!

A silly build I've been enjoying on Nemesis consists of the perks - Brutal Strength - Enduring - Knock Out - Pop Goes The Weasel The point is to make him that powerful killing machine he's supposed to be, able to shred through obstacles and inflict increased damage with his kicks and punches. In the Halloween event you can…

Survivors are not yet contagious if they are in the first stage of infection. A healthy teammate can unhook them without contracting the disease themselves. A survivor in the first stage of sickness also will not infect objects they touch. This only applies when they are in second stage and broken, then any interaction…
-
Yep, those are the Treat pumpkins, regular pumpkins and Trick pumpkins respectively.
-
It's not always 250/500 (without offering/with offering), fortunately. Treat pumpkins give you 1000/2000 points each, which is really nice. Though these points were indeed not buffed. It seems the buffed points involve opening portals, going into the void, feeding energy into the well and picking up a crystal.

I remembered this post and decided to record a full 'spending spree' of about 1.3 million bloodpoints on Jonah. And, indeed, the only medkits and flashlights I got were from Mystery Boxes. PC, Steam, Windows 11.
-
It's important to note that you must have the item in your hand when you die. If you dropped it by any means, either by doing so yourself or by means of a Killer add-on or perk (such as Franklin's Demise), it does not get saved. If you used something that consumes the item, for example a syringe on your medkit, it does not…

Not a bug, levels 2 and 3 are not open yet. The clock icon next to the II and III are indicators of this, and hovering over them will tell you when the page will open.
