There is already a perk that does that, it's called Deja Vu. You can also use Detective's Hunch, Better Together, or if you don't want to equip a perk, you can use a map.

I feel like this mechanic is still in the game for literally no other reason then to hurt people hands, it's even worse for people with things like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Colorblind filters have also been asked for a long time, but for some reason the devs have decided not to do anything about it.

I've gotten Mercilesses on Rotten Fields before, that doesn't mean that it isn't unbalanced.

No, the Kate could have just left or the Nea could have actually tried to leave the basement. They had many opportunities to end the game themselves.

I was running kindred and just so happened to be put in the basement by a trapper. I was forced to watch in horror as Nea was urban evading down the basement stairs while I'm 5 seconds away from dying, when she got down the stairs she immediately crouch-walked into an obvious bear trap at the far edge of the stairs. Could you consider changing the struggle hook phase, it sometimes kills us for no reason other than lag and for some people including myself it actually hurts to button mash or scroll for so long. Also don't want to risk being banned by the anti cheat for a macro.
