It's like trading cards except the people selling them insist that if you buy one they grant you ownership over the actual player depicted on the card. Which isn't really "fine", even with the energy cost, since it's, you know, a lie, and its a lie that's fundamental to the concept as it has been pushed and promoted, but…

Even from a survivor perspective, I honestly feel lately like killers have been a lot less fun to play against. I'm having the most fun when I'm on the edge of my seat pulling off a clutch play, not when I'm sitting on gens, clowning on killers and rushing out the gate in record time.

make the first four hooks shared be the entire survivor team, to make camping and tunneling right out of the gate an ineffective strategy. large killer buffs across the board, making "must have" addons into base kit and then making most of the "%" based addons and perks significantly more powerful, since many of them would…

Because its easy to counter, and you only have to adjust your strategy very slightly to make it impossible to counter, to a similar one that has all the same benefits and none of the weaknesses. Seriously just move your traps over a foot. I'm not saying it can't work, especially against unskilled players, it's just that a…

The game is quite explicitly designed with the goal of the survivors being to fix gens and escape, as quickly as possible, and the goal of the killers to eliminate the survivors while preventing them from doing the above. If you have a problem with tunneling, or gen rushing, your problem isn't with other players, it's with…

Yeah that's another thing, for trapper figure out where your 3-gen cluster spawns and put your traps there (or around the shack or some other really appealing place for survivors to go if you want to punish people). Don't scatter them around. Establish your priorities and get to set up, then collect traps as you're going…

I assume gen traps will be disarmed and that's kind of the point, survivors love disarming them so much it lets me know they're at a specific gen. Sometimes traps are useful just for the info. Trapping inside a pallet is terrible and you should never do it. Either trap on the side of the pallet (so they can't drop it…

Frankly I think the enthusiasm was less about the actual contents (there were certainly questionable decisions in those patch notes) so much as the general attitude. They read like they were written by someone who had improving the game as a genuine priority, who was willing to take some risks to do it, and who understood…

Mics are great in games where there's a chill player base and easy mechanics for getting in and playing games with people you enjoy playing with - dedicated servers with regulars, guilds that control their membership. I LOVE talking to strangers in First Class Trouble, for example. I can't imagine them working in DbD and…

Sometimes I wish my teammates would leave me til second hook state and FIX SOME DAMNED GENS. Especially if there's like two gens and I'm on first hook and getting camped, I am going to beg the other survivors to finish the gens and 99% the gates before unhooking me, please, I don't want to instantly get downed and hooked…

Often times as survivor I WISH my teammates would leave me til the second hook and finish off some gens instead, especially when its my first hook and there's only one or two gens left, ESPECIALLY if the killer is clearly camping me. It's like, yeah, I'd love it if you came and rescued me, but it'd love it a whole lot more…

The concept behind an NFT is fine. The concept behind it is tricking people into paying to own something without actually giving them any ownership rights over the thing, which isn't really "fine". Conceptually, they are a scam from the same mold as pyramid schemes where you make profit by finding gullible suckers to…
