I know how you feel but I experienced it from both sides and after 3 years I had anough, more so the last few months. Now I chat with the people who are nice in private and even play arranged games with them just for the fun. And I must say that way I had less stress and again more fun.

You are right there is no logic in such behavior. And I like to play on console for that reason. If they want to flame with toxic chat they have to message me privat and than I report it to Sony and they do something about it. On PC hide endgamechat and if they message you privat you can report it on steam. 😉
