Sounds like a major source of "frustration" that new survivors face has to do with the effect it has on skill checks but if that's the case why not make ruin a flat but powerful generator repair slowdown? I play on consoles so maybe X/Square or Y/Triangle for the perk tier menu on those.

I think players should be able to use all tiers of perks that they've collected in general since some people might prefer using weaker versions as self imposed challenges and the like, not sure how best to incorporate that into the UI though since having separate tiers of each perk would make the perk list even more…

They aren't impossible to unlock I got them all and I haven't played prior to the emblem change however the score requirements do get much much harder as rank increases to the point of being borderline impossible. At low enough ranks it's actually possible to get them with only 3 kills so the disparity is incredibly…
