What were the nerfs?
-
Yeah people don't like facing him for some strange reason. He's really not that good. He has two mediocre anti loops and map traversal, and combined they don't make a very good killer. Instead of complaining about Dracula we should complain about actual broken killers like Nurse.
-
He's still mid imo.
-
Nah, I don't think his power is strong enough for him to be 4.4m/s.
-
Dracula is actually a decent killer. It's map design that's the problem.
-
I think you're over-relying on kill rates and pick rates to make your argument. While those stats provide some insight, they don’t tell the full story. A killer having a higher pick or kill rate doesn’t necessarily mean they're outright better in every aspect. Ease of use plays a huge role in those numbers. The Unknnown is…

You can outplay crows at loops, specifically ones with blind corners and stay in the loop. The artist places a crow at a loop. If I go one way, I get downed, and if I go the other way, I also get downed, if I leave the loop, I get downed. Tell me what exactly is the counterplay here? If you think there is any, you have…
-
A single not even hard to place aoe shot from Unknown will force you from a loop. This is just not true. You are over representing the Unknown's power to make him seem a lot stronger than he actually is. And if you linger there too long, guess what drops on the ground? The unknown can drop clones at loops, but Artist can…
-
A single well placed crow can force survivors to abandon a loop. You can't just say "Unknown is a broken braindead version of the Artist" without understanding how she works. The Artist requires prediction, timing, and map awareness to maximize her power. Survivors can’t just mindlessly hold W in loops when she’s nearby…
-
What I meant by better map pressure is that she can harass any gen on the map, whereas the unknown can't. Maybe map control is a better way of describing it. Worse zoning? She literally renders loops useless by just placing one of her three crows. She gives easy information. You can just fire some crows at some distant…
-
The Artist has better map pressure, skill expression, zoning, and information than the Unknown.
-
The unknown broken? Have you actually tried playing them before coming to this conclusion?
-
There's a reason why it's also known as "run to yellow". But it being brain dead isn't necessarily a problem. There are some killer perks that I could list that are brain dead as well.
-
"Survivor is ez mode" many people will disagree with you on that.
-
BHVR needs to get out of their own way lol.
-
Completely agree. People constantly complain about hellfire saying it's impossible to dodge. I've had survivors dodge it no problem. And on top of being easy to dodge, it can't go through walls like Pyramid Head's punishment. Bat form is still worse spirit with a garbage teleport. Literally no point in using wolf form…
-
"Dracula can shapeshift, hop over a pallet or window, and turn back before Survivors get a chance to run anywhere" No, he can't. It takes Dracula two seconds before he can do anything. The survivor can just vault the pallet/window again. It's as if Spirit could walk through windows and pallets in exchange for way less…
-
Not to mention the items that he spawns that essentially buffs survivors.
-
My point was Dracula is not the only killer who makes pallets and windows questionable. "walking/aiming at loops with the sword in the ground is more difficult than with his fire since pyramid head can only walk forward and not backwards or sidewards" not a problem for skilled Pyramid Head players.
-
Also, just wanted to say that wolf form does in fact have counterplay. The speed boost you get from the orbs really isn't that much because it's incredibly short. You get slowed down when charging your pounce attack which is an obvious tell. And it's dodgeable. Hug tech is clearly unintended an I don't expect it to stay in…
-
I mean, Xeno's tail has no counterplay but I don't see people crying about her on the forums.
-
Wolf just treat it like Wesker. Vampire form try to find low LOS loops with high walls that won't allow Hellfire to pass through.
-
Name a high level player who thinks Dracula is OP. I agree that Dracula is hard to play against. Being able to switch between 3 powers at anytime can overwhelm survivors. However, he's nowhere near OP.
-
The problem is it's not a valid concern. It's basically not wanting to adapt and get better. I never said you should cage all the time. You should cage a survivor when you know someone is close by. Rather than wasting time hooking them I can get to the chase much quicker, effectively applying pressure without slugging. If…
-
You're the one complaining about Dracula therefore you're the one having trouble in the game. His cages always spawns the furthest away. You just have to understand the spawn logic. The cage always spawns at the furthest possible spot from the killer, a good pyramid head can use game sense to locate these cages. You just…
-
You're making assumptions about my mmr based on a discussion which makes 0 sense. I have 3000+ hours in DbD so I definitely don't have low mmr/experience. I did know that scent orbs decreases pounce cooldown. My bad for saying it has a long cooldown. Happy now? Punishment isn't easy to dodge, you are just bad at Pyramid…
-
Wrong, PH cages so he doesn't have to waste time hooking and can keep pressuring survivors. Pyramid Head has a single good power and Dracula has 3 mediocre powers. Quality over quantity. "You arent hitting through wall blind hits, you are getting vault and pallet hits 9.9999/10 times." Dude literally just admitted his lack…
-
I along with many others think Dracula is B tier. Are you trying to say that everyone who agrees with me is bad at the game? There's no way you're that delusional.
-
Finally, a levelheaded opinion on this thread.
-
If you have a problem hitting punishment, that's a skill issue. The travel time is negligible. Bat form allows you travel up and down slowly at a short distance. I can just pick Dredge and travel quickly to any locker on the map. Who asked? I'm literally proving to you how it's just a weaker form of another killers power.…
-
Hellfire is weaker than punishment. Punishment goes through walls and is literally not easy to dodge. Is it that hard to comprehend? Bat form's teleport range is terrible and teleport is really slow compared to Dredge. Wolf form has a larger slow from missing or hitting compared to Wesker and is much shorter. I do know how…
-
Same exact thing with Pyramid Head. When a survivor is approaching a window I put my sword in the ground so they don't vault it, allowing me to get the M1 instead.
-
Yes, a killer with 3 mediocre powers is B tier. Hellfire: Weaker version of PoTD. Don't even start. Bat form: Weak stealth, can't see anyone, teleport is slow, and can't attack. Wolf form: Cooldown is long AF, useless at most loops without hugtech, and can't moonwalk. In summary, get good.
-
He's not asking for buffs. He's asking for QoL changes. Also saying dracula is broken is a bold statement. Most people think he's B tier at best.
-
As a Dracula main I think he's A tier in the right hands. Hellfire is a solid antiloop, bat form is a good way to traverse the map and catch up to survivors, wolf form without hug tech is mediocre imo.
-
Well when I say mediocre I mean it's a weaker version of Pyramid Head's power. Punishment is not easy to dodge. Why do people keep saying that? Most of the time when I don't hit punishment it's because I missed, not because the survivor dodged it. He's not even close to being as good as Pyramid Head. Dracula is okay, but…
-
The downside is having 3 powers that other killers have but mediocre. You would choose to play Pyramid Head because you enjoy Silent Hill. His primary ability allows his attacks to penetrate all walls and obstacles, while his secondary ability enables an instant hook that bypasses unhooking perks and provides a free mori…
-
Definitely disagree with hellfire having a 20 second CD. And if swapping forms slowed him down, it would make him feel more clunky than he already is. I agree he doesn't need any buffs, but he doesn't need any nerfs either.
-
There isn't really a killer to "start with", just play whoever you think is fun. For loops like shack and jungle gyms, moonwalking can be useful. For good builds I hit up YouTube. Hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know.
-
Do better.
-
More antiloop, more stealth, more mobility… How could it possibly be a nerf?
-
Why do you think chucky is overrated exactly? He has a strong chase power, is very easy to play, and isn't map dependent.
