  • It did in my opinion. Didn't feel like I was missing out on content, it really just made sense to have a health chapter. I believe at that point in time they had added 10-12 new operators? So introducing new guns, abilities and other mecanics, it made sense that they took some time off to revisit everything overall and…
  • So coincidentally, both of my most wholesome moments happened on Lery's Hospital. First one was a while ago. Was going against a Wraith and was having a really close game. At one point he was chasing me... Then the LB/L1 on my controller died. I couldn't run, only walk. Anyways, he hits me once, then just kinda looks at me…
  • Dead Hard's intended purpose if dead on consoles, in that it says explicitly that you avoid damage upon using it. The number of times I have been downed with the exhaustion bar activated (from using DH) is countless. Unless it is fixed, the only purpose for it as someone mentioned above is to extend chases.
  • Yamaoka Estate. Dunno why, have played on that map so many times and know the layout really well. Always do poorly as both Survivor and Killer in spite of that though.
  • To add to what I said, "achievements" should be achievements. Not much of an achievement when you have to work with someone on the opposite team to get it. I don't know how you would update it at this stage of the game, but it certainly should be.
  • I got the achievement not too long ago, but as mentioned above it is completely outdated. The only reason I got it was because I happened to be the last survivor left, they messaged me saying they were gonna let me live, explained my situation and they LET me get it. I had no doubt that I was gonna have to farm that…
  • You get me ❤
  • Discuss, no. Vent, yes.
  • Myers with Scratched Mirror paired with M&A is an excellent combo. Even on an open map, if you stick to the walls and can predict where survivors will be looking, I'll usually average around 4 grabs a game.
  • Its more dependant on how you play in my opinion. As survivor, whilst 9/10 times I won't need to use it, its always nice to have just incase I am getting tunneled. As killer, my general rule (self implicated) is that I won't go after the person I just hooked so that everyone gets a chance to dance with the killer so to…
  • Got this after the killer DCed Me and my mate couldn't stop laughing
  • I played against a SWF group yesterday that had two people with OoO (for whatever reason) whilst I was going for the Adept Ghost Face achievement and successfully got it. OoO is a double edged sword in that if you use it correctly, its great. If not, then like my game yesterday, you see the last survivor camping the hatch…
  • Survivor: Yamaoka Estate. I just always have the worst luck on that particular map, I have no idea why. Killer: Is more dependant on who I'm using most of the time, but think I have a fairly poor track record on Groaning Storehouse.
  • Have you tested a version of this Freddy where you start with the set amount of traps and can use the Dream Snares OR Fake Pallets? AKA both? To clarify my question with an example, start with 8 traps, can place 4 snares and 4 pallets. The earliest placed trap is removed beyond that. It just feels like using an add-on slot…
  • I got lucky tbh. Started the match and the killer immediately came to me, saw I was Laurie and must have figured out I was going for the achievement. They left me alone the entire match. Knowing more about how her perks run though (as opposed to when I got lucky), playing fairly stealthily would work well. Keep your camera…
  • I mean, Left Behind was real situational before and should remain that way. An idea would be that if you are the last survivor in the game and the EGC is triggered, then display the aura of exit switches for a longer amount of time and possibly increase the opening speed of gates. Again, just an idea. That way it remains…
  • @Peanits Is Left Behind in line for a rework?
  • @MPGamer18 likewise. Prior, the ranks might be spread out by about 5-6 levels. Now there are just huge gaps. There is no disconnect between new players and veterans.
  • Wait, skins? What? Sorry to derail, but WHAT?! And yeah, she definitely needs love. The "Rule Set No.2" should be part of the base kit in my opinion.
  • @Zavri both facing and playing them is like, "Why do you exsist?"
  • @Khar a cuddle would be nice. @Pike_Trickfoot sign me up son.
  • I play Doctor a lot and do use the 3 gen strat if I get to that point BUT I do chase survivors. The game has to end some way or another, so what you originally mentioned is definitely just keeping the game hostage. I would rather get points for chasing a survivor while the last gen is being done rather than have a half…
  • @FireHazard Thank you!
  • For me, I will prestige a character when I'm running low on add-ons or offerings. It also depends on how many teachables you have unlocked, because if you have a specific build that you enjoy/prefer running, it can be a nightmare unlocking those perks.
  • I added the immediate escape idea, just for the main fact that (for the Billy at least) you can't just chainsaw straight to a hook or to the basement. I absolutely agree with what you're saying though. I think your version would work perfectly for Leatherface, but not necessarily with Hillbilly.
  • Only if they are very noticeably trying to sandbag their teammates.
  • The ranking system is another problem entirely. If it didn't reset and/or you couldn't derank, then there probably wouldn't be so many disconnects. Still A LOT, but not as many.
  • Definitely all for being that level of strict with it, BUT, there would have to be some sort of way to distinguish who is DCing out of frustration/trolling and those who have been dropped because of ######### internet/game crashes/ect. Yes though, that level of punishment is absolutely necessary. Can report them, but as…
  • I mean, this event is just kinda there tbh. It doesn't feel like much of an event. I'm still playing how I usually play, just every now and again if I see a thing, I grab the thing and keep going. Just feels really lazy.
  • Likewise. Both bars are full and not registering as so. Cannot harvest the plants as survivor either.
  • I really like some of these ideas, especially Surveillance. It could be a really decent perk, the main thing that is lacking is that it doesn't track for long enough. I also REALLY like that Monstrous Shrine buff, because as it is, just too situational. With the blindness and exhaustion status effect, at least those who go…
  • Its all appreciated guys, cheers. Whispers definitely sounds like a good one to use for her thanks to hiding the TR, have used it with a couple other killers. Anything inparticular to avoid using? Like perks that could appear as useful with Amanda, but actually aren't?
  • Dwight is a Senpai. He would fight the killer off alone using his training in Karate. Shrutes are used to fighting through the cold.
  • I absolutely agree that it comes down to play style and probably experience. I'll still have the volume of the game playing through my headphones, but quite low. Enough to hear the audio queues for both sides anyways.
  • Whatever I'm feeling like that day. I listen to a bit of everything and typically change the lyrics I'm singing along to match what I am doing in the game. Small tip, Bohediam Rapsody is EPIC when getting chased by a killer.
  • I've definitely played with plenty of people on both ends who DC when they see a Doctor especially. Personally, I really dislike facing Freddy just because I know it is going to be a LONG A** game. Always play the match though because.... Well, thats the game. The killers are supposed to be difficult and/or annoying.…
  • ...... Wot. You mean like receive salt after a match? Pretty much every game haha but the community is a lot more toxic on the console versions, so I think if anything its just normal. I just imagine the players I killed (that send hate messages) are predominantly Fortnight players 😂
  • Prior to playing on the X, I played it for several months on the original release Xbox One, on a TV and frame rate was fine then. Even last week, I went to a mates place and played DbD on both a regular one on a TV and a X on a monitor. The biggest issue I had was going back to playing it on a big TV instead of using a…
  • The issue for us when it comes to getting higher res would be loading times (even for the X) and would probably run the risk of dropping more frames. I definitely agree that the current FPS isn't as bad as what people are saying it is (even for the S), but at this point in time, I wouldn't want to risk losing anymore…
  • I did preorder, but I play killer regularly now. Probably about on par with my survivor. Like, early days when it got released, I barely played the killer. Its only in the past 5-6 months that I decided to have a crack and from the beginning, being the killer was WAY easier than being survivor. Even as I get into the…
  • I have to agree with this guy. I've faced plenty of people with BBQ & Chilli and even use it myself. 9 times out of 10, they're usually using it for the extra bloodpoints and as long as you're stealthy, the killer will usually miss you even if they decide to come to your position. Survivor only lights up for a few…
