Going to jump in and say that I can't stand it either. It scrunches everything together way too much, and I hate that it constantly shows the characters I don't have, like the game is trying to get me to buy them constantly. Please, PLEASE revert this.
-
I though the Unknown was maybe abnormally strong until I got my butt handed to me by a good survivor team who made it difficult to keep them infected. Either way, he's one of my favorite to play.
-
Jane for me.
-
I mean, plenty of other killers were inspired by horror icons and serial killers (Trapper & Jason, Billy & Leatherface, Clown & John Wayne Gacy, etc.). I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same case (even if the name "Skull Merchant" still seems odd for her).
-
This complaining is starting to get out of hand. There are plenty of problems in DBD, but the new HUD isn't one of them. It's not the same as comms, and most perks designed around denying survivors information are unaffected.
-
I don't see an issue with the changes at all. It's just made playing survivor a bit better for me, and killer hasn't felt any sweatier than usual. I'm still getting the usual mix of swf groups and solos, and perk variety has been pretty good all around. I'm not sure where the issues are coming from, either.
-
I'd be fine with the perk at least telling survivors that it's active as soon as the gens are finished, like every other exposure effect in the game. That way, the killer still gets their massive boost in strength, but a survivor doesn't have to be completely screwed before they know about it.
-
1.) If the survivors can make me laugh, I'll usually let them live. 2.) If someone DC's too early, I'll sometimes go friendly. Mostly because I gave up on having a fun match. 3.) I'm running Rancor and lulling the obsession into a false sense of security 😁.

Trade you.

I will continue to side with this. Even if boons are changed to be at risk of being destroyed permanently, you can still boon the other totems, and you're more likely than not to get at least a few fast heals out of it before the killer notices. It would also help with people trying to place boons right next to the killer,…

I can't blame them for being more concerned about making a profit over making changes that likely won't make them any money. They are a business, after all, and a fairly small one at that. Would some changes be nice? Sure. But even then, they've made a lot of quality-of-life and requested changes alongside the quarterly…

This is a fantastic thread.

Played on Dead Dawg Saloon, and we had a Mikeala on our team. She booned in some bushes in the Gallows and it got snuffed. No big deal. It got snuffed a second time. No big deal. Then I got hooked near the boon, and it got snuffed again. The killer stayed near the hook, so I ended up hitting stage 2. So, ladies and…

I'll probably wait to see what kind of state the chapter is released in. If it's not too bad, I'll probably but the Knight with shards, since I was really gunning for a medieval killer or skin in the game for a while now.
-
I don't think a lack of sex appeal was what hurt Haddie. By that logic, no one would play Dwight, Bill, Mikaela, or Rebecca. Quite frankly, I have a lot of issue with Pixel Bush's opinions on the "moral qualities" of DbD. This sounds like him trying to stir drama where it's completely unwarranted. With all of the games on…

Nurse's Calling: Every time I use this perk, the survivors bring CoH and Shadow Step or heal outside of its range. Crowd Control and Huntress's Lullaby: Both are found immediately and destroyed before I can get any value. Only good as Haunted Ground or Pentimento bait. Bamboozle: 2-window tiles, and 4 or 5 sometimes…

Toolboxes aren't necessarily everything. While you might take out the first few gens fast, I'd be willing to bet that healing was difficult during this match. Additionally, you might want to look at the guy who brought her to the Game of all maps. Aura reading on a small indoor map with no Shadow Step and no medkits? I…
-
Nurse can make considerable distance is a blink, but Dredge would be able to teleport from anywhere in the map if the lockers weren't blocked. Additionally, he has normal movement speed, whereas the Nurse's primary way of moving is via blinks. It will likely be some time before any changes are made to the nurse. The devs…

I really, really don't care.
-
Ghostface is finally making new friends at school.
-
I would be perfectly fine with increasing Circle of Healing's speed if it meant that it could be snuffed permanently. I would rather that than a slower heal speed and self care that can be set up infinitely.
-
Considering they just got done with a very ambitious chapter, I don't think moris are at the top of their priority list.
-
I tend to play a different killer every match, mostly determined by daily rituals. Lately, Oni has been growing on me.
-
Quite frequently, actually. A lot of the time, though, it's less intentional and more so the result of a bad chase or camping.
-
On the list of priorities for DBD, I don't think skins and moris are at the top.
-
Thanks for the responses, everyone. I think I have a better understanding of the situation, now.
-
Neither. It favors whoever brings the strongest weapons. Addons, high-tier killers, map offerings, etc. Whoever brings the biggest guns largely wins.
-
I'm a big fighting game fan, and so the aspect of continually learning and improving against other players is something I like in both.
-
I only start laughing when the BM gets them killed or they DC at 5 gens.
-
Keeping it real.
-
It took me a very long time to learn how to loop at least somewhat competently, but nerves can often get the better of me. It's definitely not an easy thing to just pick up.
-
Played against Nemesis on Haddonfield; was injured, infected, and dead on hook. When I ran into one of the houses, a zombie hit me from around the corner. We lost.
-
Very much a love/hate relationship. One game, I get huntress on the swamp and blay the best match of in my career, feeling like I improved greatly. The next, I get huntress on Badham, and I can't do a thing about the two groups on opposite ends of the map. Love/hate, I'd say.

It reminds of when swear words were censored upon Mortal Kombat 11's release. Like, the game had so much gore and brutality that it was banned in multiple countries and traumatizing to the employees, but swearing is where WB drew the line?
-
I have multiple issues with gen speed at the moment. A few reasons why: 1.) Gen times are wildly inconsistent. I understand having things to make a gen go faster, especially if there is a cost or it requires multiple people, but the difference between sped-up times and normal times makes them impossible to predict. You go…

As much as I would like to speculate on the matter, I don't think we'll really know how this will play out until people have had a chance to break it. I don't think that they intend to just drop it into the game as-is, given the whole host of problems that would cause. However, if it prompts the developrs to change the…
-
I'm hopeful that, since this is a very fresh idea, they will take the time to iron out the kinks before it ever goes live. If the game is largely overhauled to account for this change, then I'm actually excited for this change. If not, well, then we're in trouble.
-
I would legit become a survivor main if that happened.
-
An FOV change is significant enough to change how easy or hard both sides are to play, similar to how stretched-res gave survivors an enormous advantage. Shadowborn is a perk because giving the FOV increase is an advantage.
-
In some aspects, yes. In others, no. The DC, suicide on hook issue isn't being exaggerated at all. I've seen plenty of other players with the same problem.
-
I have to dedicate an entire build to making Coulrophobia work, and only on Doctor. This is the first time that I've ever actually had fun with Coul. I'd rather not nerf it if at all possible.
-
Part of the problem with pickrate is that people either a.) aren't willing or able to buy the DLC or b.) just don't want to play certain killers. I play a lot of killers, but I don't particularly like hag or twins.
-
Surprisingly, no. I typically play without add-ons, even on killers like trickster and trapper. It has less to do with improving and more to do with the fact that I have a weird aversion to using once-only items in games.
-
Finally, DbD embraces the true horror... Hentai
-
Unfortunately, I can't get behind Jeepers Creepers after its creator, Victor Salva, was convicted for child molestation. It's cool if you like the movies, but I personally can't get behind it.
-
Empathy has basically become a mainstay for my survivor builds.
-
DH'ing over bear traps or into safe windows and pallets was pretty mindless.

If I had the money, I would

Funnily enough, there's an obscure horror-themed fighting game called Terrordrome that released in 2013. It included characters like Jason, Freddy, Myers, Leatherface, Pinhead, Chucky, Ghostface, Candyman, Ash, and some more obscure horror icons like Herbert West from the Reanimator. If you're interested, it might be worth…

Yeah, Bamboozle sucks when they literally have 4 windows to vault through. 😑
